How good is your math game?

Have you made decent LONG TERM profit without playing the maths?

What, in your opinion, is the best "type" of math to learn? (Eg, probability, algebra, etc etc).

Finally, do you think math is Integral (a necessity) to show continuous long term profits in poker?

For me, my math game is very weak, I am studying again to try and improve my understanding of probability as I feel this is the best thing to learn for Poker.

I used to do basic math (Pot odds, implied odds and rule of 2&4) when I first started playing cash, and noticed alot of my leaks were fixed from doing this, but I've since gotten lazy and now am a losing player, so trying to discipline myself again.

I feel like someone could make a profit on poker long term, without using maths to their advantage, but I feel they are handicapping themselves.

    Thoughts?

    Source.
