    Mexican Poker Problem

Cash Game- 25-50 antes. Min. buy in 500. One round costs 75, giving you an "M" of 6 and 2/3 which I will not decimalize so as not to glorify a certain soy product.
The question I guess is what is the GTO buy in?

It is uncapped as far as I know, my Spanish is not that good, she only mentioned the min buy in, and not the max.
So that will be my homework for this thread, find out the max buy in and the % rake, to fully get this GTO machine running like a car in a Van Halen song. I think Zepplin had a fantastic car song too that slipped under my radar until i started singing Karoke for a living. That inattention to detail has allowed my brain to develop without many of the trigger words and concepts of other poker playing mammals.

I sign up and am fourth on the list. This could be hours with only one table running and a molasses slow dealer. But I am seated in 30 minutes. My first thoughts sitting down are of a Bingo Hall. Dudes are going all in with K8 suited FTA. He was short and pushed in his 300-ish stack and lost to another short stack with 9-10 suited who I suppose had great pot odds with three other callers. I am buying in for the min as reconaisance only. I need to get a feel for this game.

This table is a buzzsaw to a min buy in is what I realize. I know I will need at least double when I sit down next time and possibly being a second bullet. As a school teacher who doesn't bank that much loot I may need to get creative in my budget.

I have been living in Mexico for 13 months and have spent all but three nights sleeping in a Hammock. It's the only way to go if you want to keep loot in your pocket, no AC for you! It's a ceiling fan and get used to sweating. The Electric Company crushes you down here if you go over your target number.

What I love about tournies is patiently waiting for spots and finding the right time to push as I get short. I love that Kamikaze time near the bubble when any two (plus psychology) will do. But this strategy won't work with 2 5k stacks and a couple more stations above 2k. This is like shooting fish in a barrel for these guys. I fold for two orbits and get 88 on the cutoff and pop it to 125. My first hand. That should set off alarm bells I think. It doesn't, i get 4 callers and the flop is Q J x. IT gets checked to the river and i take it down, an ace hits on the turn and the betting window was shut down for all

I'm back to above my starting stack and still seemingly tight as heck. KJ suited looks good and I raise 75 again and the big stack calls me after limping fta. Great. Two clubs on a 8 hi flop and i have seen this dude call all ins with A2 off, QJ off, and a pair of sixes. I know i should pull the trigger on the button here but I cannot. There's 300 in the middle, I have 400 behind and he knows how to do math.
My plan to hit the turn and win crashes and burns as it is a third club and he throws in a 2/3 raise. I'm done completely an orbit later when I get 22 second to act, limp, I pile, call call call call call.

I guess I should just get used to very short sessions here or get lucky.
    Any and all comments appreciated.
These will probably be monthly reports as that is all that is in the budget, unless I take this widow up on her offer of a free room. She's a spry diaper wearing honey (when her stomach bugs her).
