Yes - Pos Prog also. Your flat bet is similar to what I got. And it's interesting that the Charles Guetting fares worse. I guess because of the last loss after x WIAR. The most WIAR = 1; next most =2 an so on. Guetting W 1, 1 L 1.5 = W .5 units. If bet flat W 1 unit.

Some people say you got to match the progression with the particular bet placement. The only way that's true is if the WIAR and LIAR are different between fixed placements. So far I haven't seen any evidence of that. On the contrary; I have seen simulations using many bet placements showing same W/LIAR but these were with simulated shoes.

What are the arguments against flat betting if you have a net positive strike rate percentage overall? If that is the case, it seems like progression strategies could also work.

 

Also very little discussion of fractional positive and negative progressions.

For example:

1.0, 1.5, 1.0, 2.0, etc.
