Question on timestamps

    I noticed if I come here just to read the posts and dont intend to post..or if I am on the site and my time expires requiring me to relog in.......when I am not logged in..the time stamps on posts are way off....is that on purpose or a glitch? Once I log in the time stamps are accurate

    The default timezone is UTC/GMT, so if you are not logged in, that is the timezone that will apply to all the time stamps. Once you login, the site uses the timezone set in your account preferences to adjust the time stamps accordingly.
