As stated I was in doubt so no bet. I have enough bets on this next test and save for one round of betting for day 1 ( 05/01/2022) here is weather forecast Wednesday skipptophia.

Monday and Tuesday are key days at 27c it’s generally humid here and covers are placed over the cricket pitch to stop undue rain damage to the surface ( ask your friend the answer to that question easier than my typing skills lol) usually about 30 square meters is covered to protect the 20 meter. by 2 meter actual cricket pitch.
This cover causes sweating also a factor to account for the draw decision I’m aiming for. The screen shots looks good to me as the rain % for 5 days is up there , remember we only need to lose 2 or so hours a day for a few days of those 5 days to significantly increase the chances of our draw bet being successful.

We also have a bet on skipptophia just in case they skittle the poms as in the Boxing Day test before the rain affects the game. Being the poms lost by day 2/3 etc.

As a reference this the screen shot of Boxing Day test day one play. No rain predicted so rain affected draw was not the option as I previously posted I took the skipptophia to win, which it did. Note the draw price as compared to the 4th test screen shots I’ve been posting of late. Remember we are still 4 day away from start of play.

this is late post of price, as you can see the team that theoretically should win is being underscored by the draw due to perceived weather and or to a lesser extent Covid/ player changes. I won’t post another weather photo as basically same information per yesterday screen shot. cheers

If there is a start and rain does hit then that draw price will be as low as $1:30-$1:40.

I soundly suspect that the only reason American emigrated to skipptophia is the simple fact that Sunday night nfl is played all day Monday here. Plenty of time to get over the big weekend here , it’s mighty lads I kid you not , then ease the liver back to normalcy over the course of Monday daytime .
Monday night nice big sleep then on board bright eyed and bushy tailed come Tuesday morning , which incidentally is just 3 days away from the next weekend.

The last 7 test matches ( = 1 match per year =7 years ) played in Sydneyvil have resulted in 4 drawn matches due to rain or game play. Cheers

We are in pay dirt, 5 overs have been bowled and the test match has been officially declared a started event. We are in rain delay number 2 for the day and we are only just now at the 2 hrs of schedule play mark of a 5 day test.

Fifth and final test is in Tasmania, ( the beautiful shaved tuft of hair before the Brazilian became the norm, I’m not complaining, lol.) it’s a pink ball test day/niter. Not many tests are played there so my information is modest.

If happy to have a comment from me regarding that 5 test let me know. I’m looking forward to that test as a spectator as it’s one of the few remaining grounds here that has that iconic hill feature I wrote previously this thread.

Re you race across town to place a bet . Do you not have a phone account for online sports betting? Or is that sort of thing illegal in your state?
I remember doing that pre mobile phone and pre online betting agency as we only had one legal betting agency called the Tab, you could phone a bet through if you had an account but the miss ratio was high as often they would not answer your call or if they did by the time of account verification and bet particulars it was Tuesday next week already and the game was over.
