A number of players with a limited bankroll, like to buy-in short at tables, but if you have the bankroll, you should buyin for the full amount allowed.

Anybody know why? What are the advantages?

Are you talking about buying in for 100 big blinds?

I'm talking about in a casino, a 1/2 table, max is $300 to buyin, do you, if so, why, if not, why not?

Same for online .25/.50 (50bbs is minimum, 100bbs is usually the max). Same questions, thanks for question.

Because you don't have to play the hands you don't want to but you want to be able to apply max leverage should the opportunity arise.

i tend to watch a table game and buy in for about half, if 300 i buy in 160, play underdog, a good reason for buying in full price and this has happened to me, is if you got a monster hand and someone goes all in you double your money, i try to grind up to that amount and more, also buying in for half price forces me to pay more attention, and not get overly aggressive which is one of my main problems and leaks
