Rocket launch will prove Earth is flat, California man says

A California man intends to launch himself 1,800 feet high on Saturday in a home-built rocket to prove that astronauts faked the shape of the Earth.

Mike Hughes, a 61-year-old limo driver, said his stunt will be the first phase of the flat-Earth space program, sponsored by Research Flat Earth, a group that believes Earth is, well, flat.

I'm thinking - "Damn, if only there was such a thing as a balloon - if only there was such a thing as a GoPro.
Damn, if only. Now I'll have to probably die in order to do what anyone riding in a airliner could do."

Airline ticket to 30,000 feet $120.00
    Go Pro camera $300.00
Balloon that would reach that high $100.00

Killing yourself in a home-made steam powered rocket because you're a fucking moron..... Priceless

Like most on the roulette cc he considers himself to probably be an "outside of the box thinker."

Round earth physics and math doesn't support his flat earth theories and probably don't apply to his roulette systems either.

This flat argument is so odd. I always wanted to ask, if its flat, what is UNDERNEATH?

Not in the earth but the opposite side of earth? (lol)

It's all alien bases Ken, everyone knows that lol
When they aren't there - they fly their ships to the dark side of the moon and park.
So underside of the earth and the dark side of the moon are just parking spots for the alien overlords

Flying on a concord jet prior to its discontinuation was proof of a spherical earth

That flat earth theory is a conspiracy theory on steroids.

Only person I know that advocates for it is “falkor” and he is a whack job

Stop trying to fulfill your need to make roulette players into flat earth theorists

    This is stupid.

To add to the level of how insignificant this forum is this post is in the roulette section. Lol.

I've read on of the roulette system posts. It's very significant. Some of the idiots on roulette cc forum probably believe that the earth really is flat. Have you read some of the threads like, "thinking outside the box," and the "ktf?" LOL!!!

Falkor. And he is mentally inept

As far as I can tell, KTF is a decent method. I believe member notto has been consistently playing this on machines for over a year making profits daily. He has losses but they never outweigh the wins

Regardless of my opinion or your opinion it wins

Not a chance. It's absurd. The KTF is no more effective than the KFC.

The guys playing around with it are merely fooling themselves by curve fitting their testing as they play the "would of, should of, if" game.

I’m not saying the math makes sense. I’m not saying it needs the house. I’m just saying I see it winning more then losing. Sorry.

See what? A group of poorly educated fools hand testing that silly system? Where's the logic?

Remember, some of those fools also think the earth is flat! LOL

I don’t think logic is required with gambling

Negative expectation game no matter how the chips hit the mat

I’m not in the business of belittling people who choose to place those chips differently then others

Man oh man I drove from VA back to Long Island. Passed many casinos. Maryland has them, didn’t know that. Passed parx casino to. Will power, didn’t stop

Logic isn't required for the flat earth either.

You just said that you thought the KTF is a winner. Why?

People have sent go pro camera up on balloons to show the curvature. As well as photos from concord jets

These whackos believe Antarctica is an ice wall surrounding us with other lands on the other side

They believe that the sun and moon circulate on top of earth

A solar eclipse dismantled their theory.

I still have a funny perspective on this - not a popular one, but oh well.

To a photon - heading towards Earth at the speed of light - we know by calculations that
"to the photon" the earth will appear flat (actually 15 meters thick).
Therein lies the problem. The earth being round or not is all dependent on who or what is
observing it and what speed they are moving.
People on the earth moving at the earth's speed calling it flat is wrong. It's also not round lol.
Someone who could travel at the speed of light heading this way would argue and be right
that the earth is damn near almost flat.
We tend to think of reality as "what we observe" and not take into account what other
options there are (ex. the sky is blue), the sun is yellow - you can go on and on but these
things aren't true - it's only true to "us" because we observe it as such and then we discount
every other possible answer as nonsense.
I always like to use the imaginary animal that only sees in black and white.
What color is red then ? It won't be red to that animal.
And we are so limited in what we can see, hear etc... we are in no position to make claims
on what is and what isn't.
To go "quantum" - it's actually true that a basketball hitting the ground and bouncing back up - NEVER touched the ground. This is fact but anyone you say that to will call you an idiot.
