After reading all the so called "experts" on what the main slot machine myths are... I am skeptical.
    Here are some of them:
    1) Does not matter what time of day or night you play, nor does it matter what day you play.... The odds remain constant.
    2) Location of the machine does not matter. Inner machines pay same as end aisle machines.
    3) Slots are based on RNG (random number generators). You don't increase your ids of winning by staying on the same machine.
    4) Using a players card can help the casino manipulate the odds of you winning based on tracking your betting style.

There are plenty more myths but if you know of any contrary evidence of these 4 myths above let us know. If you know other myths let us know. If you know myths you find are not myths tell us why. Thanks...

I have no idea about the real slot machines, however, regarding the online ones, I'm pretty confident that there are days when they play a lot better. I believe this is a result of high players volume on certain days that puts pressure on gaming servers.

It shouldn't be like that, but based on my experience, there is always a noticeable difference between Monday, Tuesday and weekends.

Here's an Excerpt from my book that's on topic.

    Top 5 Casino Misconceptions (EDIT)

If you listen to Old Wives Tales and Change Girl’s Advice you have no doubt noticed there are a lot of opinions on gambling out there. Almost without exception, these theories are rooted soundly in quicksand, have no connection to mathematical fact whatsoever, and should be completely ignored. If we did dismiss them out of hand, however, we would be missing a perfect opportunity to laugh ourselves silly at other people’s expense...something for which my dad would never forgive me.

By now you should have a good understanding of what sows the seeds of misconception within the all too fertile ground of our society’s collective unconscious. If I tried to cover every erroneous casino story I had ever heard, that would be the whole book. Here are just a few of my favorites.

    1. End Machines Pay More

You may have already heard that, “End machines pay more.” This is true because end machines get played more, and for no other reason. But that’s not what some people think. This is a 100% true conversation I had with a change girl at Sam’s Town and needs no other set up.

“Hey! You should play this end machine; it hits more.”

“Really? Well one of the buttons sticks so I think I’ll stay on this one.”

“Well, that’s not a good machine. I’ve never seen anybody hit anything on it.”

“Tell me, when was the last time you saw somebody play this one?”

“I’ve never seen anybody play that one.”

“Do you see a lot of people play that end one?”

“Sure, everybody plays this one. It’s a good machine!”

I was sure I had her now, so I quickly recapped the facts, “So, what you’re telling me is that on the end one there, people hit a lot of jackpots and you have witnessed this with your own eyes. In contrast, this one here, that you never see anybody playing, hasn’t hit anything. Amazing!”

Assuming she would reason it out, I returned to playing, but much to my surprise she continued the conversation and asked me, “So why are you playing a machine that doesn’t hit?”

It was probably condescending, but I then asked her, a little angry, “So tell me, do you pay out a lot of jackpots on machines that nobody is playing?”

Blissfully, she didn’t even understand my question and wandered off somewhere (probably to later appear on Jerry Springer or go into civil service as a senator or some such thing).

Hello everyone! From my observations, I can say that it is better to play machines located in the most visible parts of the gaming hall, closest to the main aisles. These machines are usually set to pay out more generously or more frequently than other machines at the back of the room. In most casinos, especially on cruise ships or any of the huge land-based casinos, if you are nice and friendly to the slot machine attendants, they will tell you which slot machine is the best.
In general, I like to play more online, because the probability of winning with the beginning of the pandemic is switched to remote control and I have more free time and I started to play more online. A friend advised one interesting site, now I play only on it because there are many advantages that they offer, in addition to a large selection of machines at registration, they give bonuses a beautiful design of machines and a convenient interface and many more advantages ...
I recommend for gamblers like me)

I was recently told by another player if you turn the volume up to max on the slot machine it pays out 10% more...He did have a few beers at the time he told me.
