We called it “The Norman Bates Motel” in this thread:

    https://www.gamblingforums.com/threads/current-feud-with-qfit-norman-wattenberger.6635/

A notable chronic resident there recently described his… residence even more… notably:

"THE LUNATICS ARE BEGINNING TO RUN THE ASYLUM."

    An asylum, indeed. Proofs here:

The Don of psychosis refers to new lunatics. He is chronic and he’s been running that asylum for over a decade now. He proves his protracted condition in that very thread. Psychodon, a blackjack “Hall of Famer”, states that doubling down results in more losing hands but winning more money!!! How is that for mathematics from a self-proclaimed “expert” blackjack mathematician??? Lose more hands but win more money!

In truth, doubling down in blackjack results in around 60% winning hands. That’s the reason doubling down is strongly advised under clear circumstances. Read real mathematics:

    https://forums.saliu.com/card-counting-blackjack.html#reversedcounting
    Blackjack Double-Down Hands, Reversed Count.

    · Norman Wattenberger und Don Schlesinger form the “Berlin Wall” of The Asylum.

Norman Bates is also in the habit of dumping evidence in the swamp nearby. Therefore saving proofs is in tall order. Here is how PsychoDon reckons the “math” of doubling down in blackjack:

    · “If there is more money to be made by doubling, do you have a different goal? Would you prefer to win more hands but less money or FEWER HANDS AND MORE MONEY? Do you derive your satisfaction from winning the greatest number of hands or the most amount of money? If not the latter, consider quitting the game.”

It ain’t “fewer” hands, stupidiot! The players win around 60% of their double-down hands. That means they win more double-down hands. And that’s why they win more money when doubling down! 60% is greater than 50%.

Just look at the first page of this Blackjack Forum. Most threads here are simply copies of threads started in The Asylum (BJTF). They all end with Source: links to BJTF. Today, April 26, 2019, I can see the following bombing threads reposted from The Asylum (aka Norman Bates’ Motel):

    1. Blackjack Jeopardy
    2. Blackjack Caesars casinos free play
    3. Blackjack Casino Vérité needs tuneup (advertising for Norman Bates’ software)
    4. Blackjack Which casino chain do or do not share data base?
    5. Blackjack What do we mean by "spread" - 1 hand total or 2 hand total?
    6. Blackjack When do I start attracting attention?
    7. Blackjack Maybe Counters Don't Have it so bad after all
    8. Blackjack Harrahs Cherokee cheating
    9. Blackjack The odd case of 4,4 vs. 2
    10. Blackjack Does side counting aces benefit hi lo or wong halves?
    11. Blackjack blackjack amateur
    12. Blackjack If anyone cares to see what my last 70 Hours have looked like.
    13. Blackjack Looking for Snowbird Destination With Casinos Nearby
    14. Blackjack An alternative to computing true count
    15. Blackjack Would you believe this.....
    16. Blackjack Why bother doubling?
    17. Blackjack Casino Road trip from Las Vegas
    18. Blackjack Spot Play

    I. The reposting is blatant bombing of GamblingForums.
There are 18 copycat threads from The Asylum (BJTF). They push down threads that are not BJTF-firiendly. On the contrary, one thread in particular is blatantly hostile to Norman Wattenberger — and rightfully so. The thread Current feud with Qfit (Norman Wattenberger) was pushed way down, outside page #1 of this forum. Mind you, it is a very popular thread, with almost 17,000 views! Nothing else here comes even close.

II. The reposting is shameless advertising for Norman Wattenberger’s forum and software.
The Source at the end of every copycat thread links to BJTF. BlackjackTheForum gets juicy links that increase its SEO score.

Meanwhile, the SEO score of GamblingForums takes a hit that pushes it down in Internet searches. Here is convincing proof. The popular thread Current feud with Qfit (Norman Wattenberger) was pushed way down in Google searches. That thread secured a solid position #3 on the “historic” query norman wattenberger (February 19, 2018). It is outside page #1 now and it will drop further…

Norman Wattenberger does NOT allow reposting on his forum under any circumstances. The threads are deleted immediately (N0rm never sleeps!) The authors are also banned in a hurry (again, Norman Bates never sleeps!)

There is a lesson to be learned here…

Meanwhile, my posts hardly get thru… not even 10% of them…

I'm confused Mr. P. Are you saying Norm is posting threads from BJTF on GamblingForums in order to generate more views to his own site?

    SEO?

Evidently I missed it. Why wouldn't the Admistrator of Gamblingforums simply take the same action of deleting threads immediately?
