Roulette The key to the Holy Grail of gambling

    Hey friends,
    I wasted almost a decade looking upon both bet selections, with and without a hell lot of triggers. Finally, it concluded that no bet selection is better or even stable in all times. It may not hit for long in succession or hit intermittently as to make you lose and lose.
    Your wins in average or good times will not compensate for your losses in the worst times.

    After simulating and playing millions of spins, I can conclude that, only that strategy is worth playing that can:
    1) Survive the worst possible; and
    2) win a net profit in a below average/average win rate thereafter, without looking for a clumping win or compensating wins.

    Clumping wins and compensatory more wins are not always unlikely but expecting that to rescue is again going fallacious and having a wishful day only.

    For example, in an EC bet if Losses and wins come like this:

    Anybody playing +1 after winning while same after losses will win easily like

    -1,-1,-1,-1,-1 -1,-1,-1,-1,-1, -1,-1,-1,-1,-1 +1+2+3+4+5 +6+1,-1+1+2 -1,-1+1+2+1


    but the same progression will become fools' gold in a W/L series like:

    Haha. Funny video. It is my firm belief that one who can handle too bad stretches without deep losses and win thereafter in average going sessions without expecting "compensatory" wins will be the holder of the holy grail and he can handle all kind of speculation/gambling with that very swiftly, including sports betting but stock market is not a random game. A stock may roll down from say $100 to 10 cents too to never recover back.

    Exactly, I would like to think I'm very very close. I get Baccarat shoes that don't conform, these are by far the minority. The rest is MM, as always my String method go a long way towards this (you can find it in the money management options for Rusty thread in the Bacc' section).

    Regarding the bad run you posted LLLLL LLLLL LLLLL WWWWW WWLWW LLWWW

    12 losses in a row, my string method if you set it up properly, will handle such a run from the on-set (this means if your strings are healthy - in a good state), if you hit such a run later in a session, you might struggle, BUT it if you can think fast and react, are sensible and don't get a head rush, you will be okay, while resigning yourself to putting a few more hours in at the table.

    E-STAR will also handle such a bad run..... (also discussed in the money thread)

    Like I mention in those thread, there are no hard and fast rules, it is a concept, once you understand the concept, you'll do things your own way.

    How to handle 12 losses in a row using my String method.

    You start you session by writing out 6 strings of 1's.

    1-1-1-1-1-1-1
    1-1-1-1-1-1-1
    1-1-1-1-1-1-1
    1-1-1-1-1-1-1
    1-1-1-1-1-1-1
    1-1-1-1-1-1-1

    This will give us 36 units profit once those strings are cleared (once lines are cleared), 36u profit is a bit on the low side for me, so once a line is cleared, I create a new one.

    I can't emphasis enough, you need to practise and play around with these, trying things like implementing small losses into the strings, adding big losses to the right hand side, cycling between the strings after every single bet, or two bets per string. Win a low value bet, then decease the largest figure in the string by that amount, win your bet few bets, then leave the 1's alone, they do serve a purpose.

    It is a concept, you will run it your own way, all you need to understand is the premise that the aim is to be able to handle damaging losses in a row, while keeping bets manageable.

    So let's look at 12 losses in row.

    (this is how I would run it, if I'm ultra disciplined, limited BR of approx 600u buyin 300u, you might do it differently)

    Bet 1u lose

    Win 2u, sure we have a figure of 4 in the string, but I really want to prioritise clearing that top line

    Hopefully to get he gist, once you bet anything greater than 5 units, don't increment into the string, rather add to the right hand side.

    Let's say to bet 8u and lost

    This doesn't mean that at some stage, you will risk betting 11 units. You can bet whatever you like, say you bet 2u after the 8u loss and win

    The string above now becomes

    3-3-3-3-3-6 or if you bet 3u and won 3-3-3-3-3-5

    Instead of doing massive recoveries. you are doing more frequent mini-recoveries.

    All you need to understand is the premise, stop bets escalating out of control during horrendous runs. I personally would probably not run the strings as outlined, but I wanted to give you a feel for what I am doing, I would be a bit more aggressive. What I do one day, will will different to the next day, but the concept is the same.

    What I strongly suggest for readers, is to practise manipulating these strings at home in practise mode against your worst performing runs, try things one way then another way, once comfortable, start risking your hard earned cash and go make some money.


    Let's say, you had a bit of a rush of blood and lost some big bets.

    5-5-5-5-6-6-8
    5-5-5-5-6-6-9
    4-4-4-4-4-5

    Unless you get a lot of wins in a row, you won't resolve those strings, they are a mess, you're stuffed.

    Total them all up, which in this case is; 106 (round up to 110)

    You now are going to have to play at a higher unit level (this is were bankroll is king and why you needed to be playing small in the first place)

    Increase your unit bet amount by 5, create a new set of strings.

    1-1-1-1-1-1
    1-1-1-1-1-1
    1-1-1-1-1-1
    1-1-1-1-1-1
    1-1

    Start all over.

    There are a multitude of ways of manipulating, cycling through the strings, initially I could bet 1 lose, repeat the 1u bet, or adding each loss to a new string.

    If you started with 8 strings of 1's instead of 6, then you will sail through 12 losses in a row with ease, it is a grind, but better than losing!!!!

    Read the links I posted above and design what is best for you, factoring temperament, available bankroll, look for ways to keep your bets low, and let the wins take care of themselves, when they arrive.

    Hmm. Very first time I can see something worthy of discussing. So you start a session with a string of 36 1s? Problem with this predetermined stretch is, you need to win in a particular manner and numbers only as I have seen in HP Johnson/Belgian Labby. It started as good flat bet then went like classic labby but finished as a deadly martingale at times.

    No you don't need to win in a particular manner, because you bet whatever you want according to your comfort level. No it doesn't end up like a deadly Labby or Marty either, because you are running multiple strings at all times, so it depends how fast you think ahead and react and be smart about it. If you attack and keep attacking a single string, you will be fucked, you know that, which is why you are splitting, speading the load between strings, similar to that Roulette system Garcia which suggested using multiple banks and borrowing and paying back loans / drawdowns.

    SERIOUSLY, There are no rules, how many times must I state this!!! Rule based progressions send you broke, which is why I designed this, I needed a progression that can handle bad runs, just like what you stated in your post. No progression I had previously read about or tried were able to do this.

    I've been playing this way for well over 5 years, it will hold it's own, I lose due to other factors, run out of patience, gambling too long, fatigue and not controlling bets, those kind of things. So where am I going to get those stats your request, considering I can implement this 100 different ways on any given day, biggest bet maybe 6 units, the next time I might go for it and bet 12u, or have changed gears and bet 40 or 60u.

    Obviously you haven't grasped what I posted, or digested the links, maybe sleep on it, how can there be a fixed bet amount 1-2-3-5 etc, there isn't.

    Finally before I disappear.
    =106, don't fancy increasing your bet level x5, then simply restart the session with a 11x strings of 5x 2's, only cycle via a pair of strings.

    Yes I've done that to recover. the aim to clear 2 strings per shoe, 6 shoes, I'm done.

    No worries you don't get it, I've shared this on a personal level face to face with gambling friends, they didn't get it either, everybody needs set rules, "what do I bet next" WTF. You make it up as you go along, keeping bets low, keep an eye on how much the last few losses have cost you, while still heading towards your target or cancelling prior losses. I always bet to win within a series of bets, so maybe that helps with what I do. I fully understand that I run this better than anybody could do, because I'm it's author\creator.

    Take from it what you can, or otherwise, it works for me.

    Your friend TurboGenius also said he can beat a random game which is a synonym of unpredictable and unfortunately unable to beat a non-random game such as a biased wheel with numbers hitting more than the average of a random wheel (1 in 37). In a nutshell, you are explaining that you need your numbers to have a hit rate of 1/37 paid 36 units in the long run to beat the game, but unable to beat a non-random wheel with let's say 3 numbers that are biased and showing a hit rate of 1/30 paid 36 units in the long run.
    I friendly ask you to run immediately to your nearest psychiatrist as soon as possible and borrow him a calculator, and then you are ready to take your drug cure!.:D

    Just finished 6 shoes, in what I would describe a difficult 'bitch of a' session, hey the game is what it is, you simply have to deal regurgitated poorly shuffled randomness. I can't predict jack-shit, so don't even bother.

    The key, which I've stressed often enough, is holding your own when things aren't going your way.

    1st shoe - Lose, dropping approx 80 base units (wasn't always betting base units, but let's keep it simple) (8 hand row fail-shit happens)
    2nd shoe - Win, crawl back, 62u approx, (column fail + being taken to the 7th bet soon after) [lacking discipline playing till end of shoe, agghh]
    3rd shoe - Lose, dropping approx 90u, hit by AM5 end of shoe
    4th shoe - Win 30u approx, (not entirely happy, struggling)
    5th shoe - Win approx 90u 'base', i'm running 3 separate string values; base, x5 & x20, being very selective when I bet the latter
    6th shoe - Win approx 50u

    LOL, fuck that, need a break just when things were turning around, down for the session 2 base units.

    The point I wanted to make here, is you have to control yourself and your bets, prevent bad runs from totally cleaning you out, hold your own until things swing back in your favour. I know of no other progression other than perhaps an extended Star option (which is not suitable for playing 'win within a series of bet's methodologies), other than spreading the load via multiple strings. Sometimes you need to run different value strings, when the higher level strings come into action, they don't necessarily have to recoup prior losing lower value strings bets. Wins and losses around lower unit bets will be evenly dispersed during the course of a shoe, sometimes you get LLL, then LLW, LW, W, W should they get out of hand, simply total up the figure and add 1's to the higher value strings and start afresh lower with clean lower value strings.

    Find yourself in a situation of grabbing a lot of early wins in another shoe! Have cleared the lower value strings, now reverse the higher level units you tacked on to the higher level strings back to the lower values. Sound baffling? LOL

    Let's say the higher value strings are x5 the lower value strings.

    Lower Value
    2-2-2-2-2
    2-2-2-2-2 cleared
    2-2-2-2-2 cleared

    Higher Value
    1-1-1-1-1
    1-1-1-1-1 remove 2 x 1, to the above... 2-2-2-2-2

    You manage to clear 1 or 2 rows of the lower value strings, due to an abundance of early wins.
    So take 2x 1's from the higher value side and write 2-2-2-2-2 on the lower side. At a 5 times ratio, 2x10 lower value units.

    Complicated? Perhaps (practise makes perfect) having played this game for near on 15 years. There is no doubt in my mind it's a money orientated game, there are no simple solutions to win consistently, plus you need to be able to manage 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 or worst losses in a row, which do happen infrequently.

    If you're after a decent MM option, have desires of playing for a living, you'll put it the time and effort, even more so after you've been cleaned out, the latter also helps with discipline issues you may be prone too ;)

    This is what I call "load shedding". I create a labouchere type progression wherein losses makes labby longer and wins finally in lesser wins than losses. Instead of making the bet too huge at right sides, I spread losses all over the string and at tricky times the string could even stretch longer than usual. It has to win, sooner or later, so I do not bother about a session's win. You are the one whose way to bet matches with that of mine and thus truly glad to bring this topic here.

    You should never operate, never, a single Labby, unless you want to go broke or have a crystal ball. Perkins, HP Johnson, read about them, don't use them. Using a single Labby puts you closer to playing a Marty towards the middle.

    I know downsides of classic labby and marty and its failed other versions like HP Johnson. My labby wins cases as I enumerated in the beginning of this discussion,
    without much trouble.

    Your attempt to get lesser losses by using virtual bets could be amazing but even with best of safeguards, actual losses like the given session could come. The given LWs are all real ones, now try what you can do with MM.

    Break time, another 3.5 shoes, decided to be a bit more disciplined about bailing early, did rather well in my second 'half of a shoe', so stopped, good job as well, as I realised afterwards I had drawn my lines completely wrong and was playing 8Col instead of 7Col, ah well LOL.

    Every shoe a good one, just like the maths predicts, up 428u thus far, bite to eat then back into it.

    Any MM that you know that can sustain and win through with the LW series we have for an EC? It is not only about this particular series but anything alike that starts horribly bad and later gets to average hit rate only, no compensatory wins.

    Try this bad sample #2 for an EC: LLLLLLWLLLWLLWLLLLWWWLLLLLLLWLWLLWLWLWWLWLLWLWWWLWLLLLLWLWWWLLWWLWW

    I know you are very wise to use virtual LWs to tackle such series but the same trigger could still yield you horrible cases at some point. Can you win in such cases with any sustainable and playable strategy?

    39 losses vs 51 wins. Started horribly. Never got compensatory wins. Yet won a net profit at finish. Max bet =6 units on each dozen.
