    Hello to all,
My name is Macon Childress, most friends call me "T", ...either is fine by me. I have been playing "free" online Texas Holdem, since November 2009. Haven't read any books or anything like that; no lessons, purely have been learning through playing. As of late, I have been doing a minimal amount of researching, again nothing in depth for I am having a hard time getting my mind freed-up from daily "life-stresses". Sometimes I feel like I have Attention Deficient, though I know this is not the case.
I also have a hard time sticking with the game during lulls, or if a insignificant "bad-beat" occurs, sometimes I can get through the latter if I am feeling good, then sometimes I fade out.......I think this is because the game does not have enough significance to me to hold my attention.

I live in Lynchburg, Virginia, have been for almost 30 years now, currently unemployed, and am typically a seasonal worker at best the past 10 or so years. I have attained most all my credits/classes towards an Associates in Accounting, (ugh), but had to drop out for I could not make it to the classes (a real sad sap I tell ya)...have a son whom is 14 years of age now. Single. I enjoy mainstream sports and playing cards, exclusively Texas Holdem, no high/low stuff, or foreign stuff.....I do enjoy the "old skool", stud, and draw games. I think most of us grew up playing these in our buddy's kitchen, tables flipping over, one bud intimating another (lol), yes yes the good 'ol days, we would end up playing what we called "guts" (3 cards, highest hand wins, no flushes or straights, 3 Aces best hand).

If anyone needs anymore information from me, just let me know.
Glad to be here, lets see where this takes us, ;)

    ohhh, one more tidbit
username on most sites would be MacAttack or MTCIII glgl

Okay BigMacAttack, friend of poopiesbluff (as we called him occasionally), is immediately put on a trial basis. lol

I can tell from the unknown comic garb and other comments, you have a fun streak which actually is a good attribute, as some players take themselves and the game to seriousely at times, however, when I work with a client, I try to determine if they have pushed it a bit too far, or if they so tight they can't really win, or if so loose aggressive, they give back most of their winnings. so we look for a comfort zone, one the works for them utmost, allows for them to play their game, with modifications as to not siphen off chips regularily. It means folding occasionally, it means 4 betting occasionally, it means 3 barreling and bluffing, a combination that works overall for them.

If up to that, start reading material, I can share videos with you to review on Skype as well, add me al.spath (free videos), and you can advance yourself. Sound interesting enough for you to not make a joke this time (wink)?

Yes sir, I will have to see about Skype. Teach, I have absolutely no money, and I am being as literal as I can be. Have been eating crackers and drinking water, alot. Not complaining, just letting ya know my resources are at their barest right now. Things should pick up for me in a week or two.

Do you still have reading material for me? Anything I can do to better my game?
