Roulette The Problem With Progressions

I am sure everyone here knows what I am about to say, but I still would like to see some ideas.

The real killer in any progression is when you experience 7, 8, 9 10 or more losses in a row, and it seems to happen quite frequently. What's the best way, short of not using any progression, to mitigate that event?

if u use progressions when u win [positive] and your strategy can produce more wins than looses ,then u ll be ahead most of the time , this is the only safe way ,no marty, nothing like that !
