FrankScoblete - very good article !!
However, the above quote and actually the whole article applies more to theory than reality ... Most craps players know there is more to craps than just the math and an important consideration on a Crapless Craps table not considered in your article is that more fair dice can be found on the Crapless tables vs. the traditional craps tables -- this is especially true at Harrah's New Orleans. Their dice management is more advanced and they know what they are doing, keeping the biased dice recurring crap numbers off the Crapless table on many shifts. On some shifts, the only fair dice in the casino are found on the Crapless table and Aruze Bubble Craps.

One of the Oregon Indian Casinos had the 'bubble craps' for 3 days before they tore it out! They removed the machine because as they said some rule the State has about the dice was a problem. The State of Oregon has no gaming commission and there are no rules about dice in the revised Oregon Statues. The real reason they removed the machine was because they could not monkey with the dice!

There then is also the question - is the bubble craps a table game or slot? This game sort of sets the casino gaming director in confusion, as if giving a kid a spork and asking him to put it in either the spoon or fork bin....where does it go? furthermore, giving the player the slot comps for bubble craps would be way to much for the casino to give the players, and they simply don't have the technical power create a comp system for such games.

Crapless craps would be a disaster for the Indian casinos using the 'Indian dice' that tend to roll far more outsides and craps rolls than normal fair dice will. There is no way in hell an Indian casinos will allow fair dice on the property in-case they end up in play on the Craps table! I have never seen Crapless craps in an Indian casino anyways, doubt I ever will.
