    Some cats make the scene and go on about how they encounter hundreds of players dom shoe on a bounce. I gotta say I've never encountered this but maybe some of you cats have encountered this phenomenon, hey hey?

    "dom shoe on a bounce" I have to ask?

    This is a phrase I have never heard. "The bounce" is slang for a 5 card redraw in Draw Poker. This makes no sense to me...

    Yes, so in a row applies.

    I am unable to understand how, "dom shoe on a bounce" correlates to "in a row" in anyway whatsoever. Let's try again. Fill in the definitions for:

    dom =
    shoe=
    on =
    a =
    bounce =

    You can probably forgo defining "a" as a definitive article, and "on" as a preposition, but these other terms are unknown to me in this context...

    It's not Dom DeLuise either.

    dom = domination
    shoe= a thing to put in your mouth, or the box dispensary containing the 8 decks.
    on = a pretense for position, part of a prepositional phrase.
    a = a worthless word used in English
    bounce = continuation.

    so it means a dominance coming from the card apparatus that is dispensing an implied condition in a row.

    Thank you and sorry for being so obtuse. Now that you explained it I wonder why I didn't. I hope you know I was not trying to be contrary. I legitimately didn't understand the phrase and verbiage.

    I'll say this, even when we disagree, I always enjoy disagreeing with you. You are quite entertaining and always thought provoking. At your worst you are a completely valid excuse to drink more:)

    Much love...

    Now can anyone decipher "hey hey?" I'm going to say that it could not be the short version of "hey is for horses."

    I had always assumed it was a Stephen King reference from Pet Cemetery, and short for "hey hey let's go"...which generally ended up with something being brought back from the dead--not exactly as it was before...

    “The soil of a man's heart is stonier [...] A man grows what he can... and he tends it" ~Stephen King, Pet Cemetery.

    I am NOT a "compulsive disorder sufferer" I could quit anytime I want.

    First, I would need a vice to which I could become addicted, but that is irrelevant.

    I do not have a problem. You're the one with the problem.

    "hundreds of players dom shoe on a bounce"

    Translation ...

    "hundreds of player dominant shoes in a row"

    or

    "hundreds of consecutive player dominant shoes"

    Jesus Wept, why did you assume my comment was directed at you? Have you been ending every post with the juvenile "hey hey" for the last 15 years, Fuck sakes.

    Sorry, Junket King...I may have interjected at the wrong point in a conversation. I did NOT think the comment was directed at me, which is why I thought responding over defensively to a comment clearly having nothing to do with me would be "funny". Clearly it was not, hay hay...

    P.S. Was ending that with Hay Hay a funnier joke?
