This thread is Twoups chance to explain why calculating binomial distribution will help someone overcome the house edge at roulette.

    Twoup,

The thread is your chance to prove that you're not a fool.

At best all that statistics can do for you is too give you a worthless baseline to compare current conditions with a none existent average that can never stabilize into a useful value. But having the propensity to try to make that work for you is a lesson in and of itself. This is nothing more than a phase to go through that one day leads to experience, if you don't quit and walk away first. That is the only real equation going on here. Will you learn yet again another thing that does not work and continue to search or will you fool yourself and pretend that this is the way to go. Unfortunately for many this always adds up to be nothing more than a lesson in failure. You will never form fit existing math. You must change math in order to win more than that same holy statistics says you will. Enjoy your school years.

He'd already done that, although not specifically in minute detail serving you the solution on a platter.

Do you really assume such a standing expecting of us to qualify ourselves to you .. schmh .. get off.
    Tipitytop. Chop chop.

Except in .. what do you have to offer in the first place .. to be paid attention to.

    1 2
    2 3
    3 3
    4 4
    5 4
    6 5
    7 5
    8 6
    9 6
    10 7
    11 7
    12 8
    13 8
    14 9
    15 9
    16 10
    17 11
    18 >>

Why don't you start proving that the chi sq test (or whatever you deem satisfies →) constitutes an unequivocal advantage & how; if nothing else that'll establish a benchmark to compare .. anything else to.

The chi is just one tool in a tool box. There are other goodness of fit tests, but it has it's uses.

I have to disagree that the binomial probability mass function is worthless.

I've demonstrated on various posts how I use it in many different circumstances. The latest being bias detection / hypothesis testing of your results with p-values to demonstrate how biased a result is, and I even provided a reference card for spins and critical values for bias/skew detection with single pockets and various sized sectors (European wheel).

Tools are just that, they help us to analyse results and expectations where the short term variance dominates.

I'm not saying I have all the answers and I've never made such a claim but in the land of the blind the one eyed man is king.

The binomial distribution is of no value for the random game of roulette, because it won't help the player get an edge.
