Hi, forum members. A few days ago I read an article about the creation of the first VR casino. It will be a hub where you play on slots and roulettes. After that, I wondered, do we need such casinos? Now on the market there are a lot of Live Casino with live dealers. It is not clear why we need such casinos.

For me this is a natural evolution of gambling - by taking immersion level as high as we can. Right now VR is mostly used as a funny tech addition, but I'm sure it will have a huge role in the future of gambling, because of immersion exactly. Like you said - we definitely don't need such casinos buy they can be more fun for some people. VR and AR are still on the pretty much shitty development (using it for more than hour can bring you some health difficulties) and adaption process (it's still pretty expensive gear, and not everyone can use it), but they will become fundamental in the future gaming experience.

btw: maybe do you have a link to the article? i can't find it using google, and i really want to read it ;3

VR, virtual reality, is just a fancy what to write software that deliberately targets players. I can't find info on this but Bovada.lv might already be VR. Their live Roulette tables don't actually have players at them. All they do is acknowledge when a so called player logs in and the live dealer says welcome to such and such a player. They do the same thing for tips. But that does not mean that the actual spins are the same for all these players on line all at once. Bets are actually placed with a software driven layout. But the video always cuts away to a close up shot of the wheel. After it is done it goes back to the dealer. There is no proof that I know of if these so called live wheels are confirmed. One way would be to get a bunch of people all over the world or USA to log in all at once, just to see their log ins and tips posted and then to compare the past spins for the sameness. You would think that somebody has already done this. If the spins are not the same then the casino is targeting the players, that is exactly what VR would allow them to do. I have stopped gambling online until I can find confirmed live wheels that offer bitcoin deposits. I know that GB and Germany have confirmed wheels. These are real wheels that have real people tracking spins that match up with what online players get. With VR you can manipulate the outcomes. It's the same as playing against a rigged RNG.

It would be great. I'd be one of the first ones to try it.
