Lounge Why so many scammers, dreamers and non math believers end up here?

You have been around the block Nathan, just wondering your thoughts on why so many scammers, dreamers and non math believers end up here?

 

Some system makers are controversial but they cannot be classified as scammers .

You only live twice , once for yourself and once for your dreams.

 

Because there are always suckers who believe someone who wins regularly is going to sell them the exact way they play, despite -EV games making such a possibility largely impossible (i.e., no purely mechanical process applied by a non-subjective player is ever going to win consistently over the long term).

Are there long term players in -EV games that earn a living from them as their sole source of income?

YEP.

Are they playing mechanical systems that can be taught, or sold, or explained for free, to the neophyte to use and do equally well with?

NOPE.

Subjective players who have developed their instincts for a game and can apply said instincts cannot "teach" you to do the same. And the mechanical players fail, without question, the longer the method is employed in a -EV environment.

So stop looking for others to save you, and develop your own way to play based on your own instinct and feel for the flow.
