Any serious gambler should look at this report every 3 months or at the least twice a year. Why? Because it can give you insights in to gaming changes and trends.

    Here is the current report:

Some interesting notes is that Craps in Lake Tahoe can achieve a 31% hold on the player, where the norm is 14% hold. Penny slots clearly are the big winners for the casinos, and the .25 cent games the hold is going up and this is due to the casinos degrading quarter play Video Poker Pay tables.

8 to 6 months ago the hold on craps on The Strip was around 12%, but then went up to 14 to 16%. Here is why:

The introduction and rollout of the Craps Bonus bets on most tables, then the casinos started to change the rules on the ATS bet and degrade the payouts on the firebet.

What I look for is a higher or lower hold that normal, and then ask why? What conditions or changes created the change... and most important 'how does this effect me?'
