Thank you. I must apologize: my comprehensive strategy is too complicated to administrate and has permanent flaws. The best way to consistently make money is to stick to either low/red/odd or high/black/even and play contre-d'Alembert without regression and start a new sequence every time +10 (or better) is reached. Be careful to adjust your bets when you come back from a negative run into positive territory: start at the 1 chip level and be patient. You will get to +10.

Fighting the house-edge is what you do in a casino. The trick is to win and run. Don't stay if you're ahead!

    Bago,

Consider this topic a break from the roulette simulator fiction.

This posted system is of no value to any one playing like a pro with one foot pointed towards the exit .

What you describe is called the hit and run strategy, old like the dinosaurs, which is a fallacy (to overcome the house edge). Indeed, it will take longer to make you lose big time by playing few spins and setting your take profit level very low, but even with this strategy will come a time where your bankroll will start negative and stay negative for the rest of your playing session.

I would be interested in strategies (or just one strategy) that are/is used by the pros to overcome the house edge.

There are no professional roulette players. Some succeeded long time ago with biased wheels or not sophisticated wheels and balls design using dealer signature and visual ballistic, but this time is over. And keep in mind that Casinos are private establishments who have the power to prevent you from winning consistently if you had the luck to find a bias or old fashion wheel/ball.

In The Netherlands the casinos are state-owned. It is like taxing the poor. Unlike in the USA, you will not be kicked out easily.

Thank you all. The great issue is when to stop your losses. When to get out of a losing streak. That is the million dollar question.

Gigi666: you real casino series woud have generated a profit of 146 thru nrs 14-21-1-30-19-11 if the low/red/odd reversed d'Alembert would have been applied. Lowest point: -72
    profits were taken at +18 +14 +42 +15 +32 +12 +12

There were the team who took over 1 million pounds from the Ritz casino. I would call them professional although it was over a decade ago and their method may not be the best and barely legal

No bias is necessary, no old balls.
It must have been very good about the VB, but it's over!
But do you think the math will end in the game? NO!
So the problem is only for those who studied VB!
It is time for VB experts to study how to win at real roulette, therefore currently they are not so experts and should listen to those who do!
