I joined this forum to try and find out something...

Back in 2005, I briefly worked at a California state prison in the administrative building.
This facility is located in south San Diego county, close to the Mexico border.

While there, I met a guy who originally was from the Philippines.
During evenings and weekends he would go to one of the local Native American casinos (probably Sycuan or Barona) and gamble.

This guy won a lot of $$$ on a regular, continual basis. He would show me actual checks for amounts ranging from $4,000 to $7,000. When I asked how he was winning all this money, he would not tell me--only that he was winning at a casino.

Which game do you think he played? Was it was possible to win these amounts at video poker, slots, or table games?

Any info, thoughts, and advice will be appreciated.

    Thank you.

My sister saw this and said Borona used to have a very active Baccarat activity prior to 2010 and lost most of their business after that to other casinos more North of them.

So some guy just shows you a few checks and you believe he won? One of the oldest casino scams in the book. Most likely he LOST more than what's printed on the checks! Don't fall for these scams!
