Occasionally, C.Change makes a post that is just shy of coherence, versus his usual completely off the wall irrelevant copy/pastes of who knows what - which leads me to believe that he is frequently posting nonsense deliberately. He does get suspended pretty regularly for hijacking.

I’ll have to check it out more, don’t recall seeing anything that even seemed semi on topic. And missed the suspensions, but I would see it pissing some off with how irrelevant to the conversation at hand his comments are. Which is why I thought mental illness immediately. You may be right he’s doing it for a reason.

Reminds me of Two Feathers who I believe was before your time with strange comments out of nowhere. But he wrote in a totally different style with short paragraphs. He just disappeared if I remember correctly and wasn’t banned.

Almost everything I've written vis-a-vis Walters on forums has been about the book. I have said almost nothing regarding anything outside of the book.

You probably should have attended the book club meeting. My co-host and I did discuss many things that occurred outside of the book. I have not discussed or even mentioned any of those on any forum.

It's funny. You presume Walters didn't write comprehensively or exhaustively in his book. But you presume I'm writing about him comprehensively and exhaustively on a forum. LOL. Talk about who has mental superiority syndrome!

Sorry, my friend. Not close. I don't think I've said more than one or two things regarding Walters that did not appear in the book. My co-host knew much more about Walters LV associates than I did (like who was arrested, for example, but not mentioned in the book) and I certainly have not repeated any of those things on forums.

You should probably have attended the book club meeting. I offered to fly you in for it and put you up in a hotel. Were you afraid to fly?

Excuse me while I have a good laugh here. I didn't presume Walters didn't write comprehensively or exhaustively about sports betting. It's glaringly apparent to even a third grader that Walters didn't cover every detail.

I DID NOT PRESUME you were writing about Walters in a comprehensive manner. YOU PRESUMED that I presumed that you were writing about him in a comprehensive manner. It was a clinic. It's up to anyone interested to figure out the rest. But he left big clues for people to go on. Big clues that go against Bob Dietz' method of handicapping.
Walters uses empirical evidence, in other words, statistics to handicap.

Bob Dietz is a HUNCH BETTOR.

Quit lying about going to pay someones airfare. You can't even pay the city $500. If I wanted to be there I would have drove in. I don't like flying cross country over those casinos that got money they want to give me. I would have drove and stopped at every casino between here and there., banked the money, then took a different route back to hit more casinos. So I would make a nice 5 figure profit on the trip.

Do us a favor and quit bragging about your professor friend who has a degree in probability and statistics. As if that's what it takes. It's 8th grade math, dude. I'm surprised, no stunned, that you have to rely on others for the math.

PS: Hunches are for two dogs fucking.

You kind of missed the point, which is that Shackleford doesn't have the credentials or status of any of the people I mentioned. I really don't get you. You don't own a home, you don't file as a professional gambler (gee, I wonder why), you're exactly what nobody wants to be, and yet you advertise what you do as some kind of "successful gambling." I mean, c'mon, man. I was defending your lifestyle for a decade. As far as sports betting goes, you are completely out of your depth. You don't know anything. Really, you know nothing at all, and you try to brave-face it by pretending that simple math can solve something. It's only on rare occasions (arbitrage and middle-shooting -- and middle shooting also requires spread anticipation) where simple math wins, and even then, it helps to have some skill set. You truly think you are Leonardo Da AP.

And you've only been APing for, what, 25 years? That's nothing.

Can you imagine if I criticized your slot play based on my one-step-above-civilian knowledge? LOL. I'm not that arrogant. I'm not that dumb. But keep typing, mickey. Keep driving.

You know, I have no problem sharing a radio show appearance with you. Bring all your arrogance and deep thoughts. You should ask around and book the two of us. Again, I'll pay for your air fare.

I like that moniker -- hunch bettor. Like a Hunchback, only betting on Notre Dame instead of ringing bells.

    1. Instead of wondering whether I am successful or not just go ahead and assume I'm not. It will feed right into your illusory superiority syndrome and make you feel much better.

    2. How many millions of people do you think visit the Wizard of Odds website. In the world of gambling there is nothing close, repeat, nothing close to anything like it on the internet. I'm not a big Wiz fan either but I don't hold grudges like you do. He gave you the boot from WoV and it still stings like a bitch, don't it. How could Shack do that to someone of your self professed esteem?

But, why don't we compare Shack's wiki to those professors you hold in such high esteem? Here's Shack's wiki. Put up your professor friend's wiki. We can compare them.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Shackleford

    3. One can do an interview on radio or podcast anywhere in the world from the comfort of their own home. Will you please quit being stuck on stupid about flying somewhere to do a radio show. You're making yourself a laughingstock. Can anyone really be that stupid?

    4. If simple math don't cut it then why does Walters use it exclusively to come up with his power ratings? This really is the crux between you and Walters. He's a math guy, you're a hunch guy?

Greetings...as Mission would say. Has anyone noticed that Mission146 is on suspension at WoV? The suspension, issued by Weak Wizard himself on March 12th, is for "non payment of prize money." Ouch! Talk about a bad look. It's probably best to read about it in the WoV thread called "2023 WoV Picks Game Discussion Thread." In the meantime...here are some lowlights.

Jan 9th...it was acknowledged that DJChaps was the winner.

Feb 6th...DJChaps asks..."Any chance to get my main prize this week, Mission?"

Feb 21st...Mission posts..."I'll be doing payouts next week."

Feb 29th...Mission posts..."It will be done no later than next Friday."

March 10th...DJChaps..."Like WTF? Hello???? Guy gives his word again. This is beyond ridiculous at this point."

March 12th...Wizard posts..."Mission is on suspension effective immediately until he pays the prize money."

As usual...not a peep out of anyone over there...wouldn't want to crack those eggshells they all walk on.

Tasha opines at VCT that he's either dead or in a coma somewhere in a hospital, but I think ilovebigknockers nailed it : Mission was abducted by busty aliens and is now a sex slave.

Ah, MrV. Who didn't see this coming? MrV's suspension at WoV is over and the 'man of integrity' is taking his sweet time reinstating him. Not an oversight...Herr DICKtator has a long history of doing this to those who have fallen out of favor or never were 'in favor.'

Grow up, Weak Wizard! What are you now, 59 or 4?

Whatever...like they say: "It don't mean nothin'."

    LOL

    No begging here.

The guy's a statistician: he realizes that with a bell curve distribution there will always be some results varying from the mean: that's me.

Actually I think the failure of the Wiz to reinstate me is due more to slothful indifference than sadism: this isn't the first time they were late to reinstate my posting privileges.

I'm sure Tasha / Nathan simply cannot wait for my return...heck, if she begs the Wiz hard enough he might nuke me next time.

    tick ... tick ... tick ...

V, you talk a good piece over here at GF (and VCT), but you don't have the belly for it to insult Nathan (or the Wizard) again at WOV, let's face it.

    All talk, no action.

So, scurry away you little mouse.

I have already insulted her at WoV.

As I posted elsewhere I am having second thoughts about continuing to do so, either at WoV or VCT or GF...reading "Black Like Me" is engendering empathy.

A very interesting and perhaps somewhat transformative read, from 1959.

But can a tiger really change his stripes?

    Hey, I'm reinstated.

As Tasha would say: "Thank you Wizard."

Yes I read Black Like Me, years ago. Also made into a 1964 movie (have not seen).

But c'mon V, you could never give up your malicious nature, it is too ingrained in WHO YOU ARE.

Perhaps I can "mellow" a bit.

But really, picking on Tasha is just too easy...like rearranging the furniture in a blind man's home.

Can you believe this guy Mdawg? Forget that he actually doxxed a fulltime player to the casinos, and just think about ALL the beyond malicious, lies he has made up about me. And now he has the gall to call someone else, anyone else "malicious". Rich or not rich, what a low life and very small person he is.

Seedvalue has been asked to provide proof of his absurd allegations, and there's nada.

Hell, people can, will and do spin all sorts of bullshit on these forums and it seems believeability is based more on slick salesmanship than actual proof.
