Misc WizardOfVegas Forum is Dying

The G2E expo is next week in Vegas. Several WoV members have been regular attendees...many just for the WoV get together that always followed. This year there is zero interest. One by one the regulars have said "thanks but no thanks." Of course they blame Covid. I mean...who wouldn't want to be in the presence of the great Wizard?

Could it have nothing to do with Covid? Could Weak Wizard have fallen out of favor with his loyal cultists? Maybe...or maybe they just got sick of watching him ridicule and belittle waitresses with his stupid 'waitress trivia' contests. Oh Angela...where for art thou?

 

So, what is the former screen name of FastEddie?

 

He's saying its Buzz.

 

At WOV what's funny is you have sports bettors like REDietz who freely admit that they know "less than nothing" about table game play, comment on table games! cob web filled dim recollections of how comp'ing supposedly worked in the olden days from poseurs like AxelWolf, and innumerable comments from others, including AWolf, who spout off based on theory on how things SHOULD be.

You also have a bunch of people like lilredrooster, sabre, etc. who don't even play in casinos any longer, who pipe up to comment.

I'm one of the few actually living it and telling it like it is. Love or hate my content, I have spent some four months (over 120 sessions) actually at the tables and some six months camped out in the Vegas casinos.

 

Mdawg. A question. I play straight up. My biggest obstacle is finding an empty table. The best results come on weekends at the $100min. Tables. SO I GET IT. However, the last thing I want is encourage others to do what I do.. We are polar opposites in our style of play. Doesn't make me good and you bad or vice versa. It probably just means you make a shit load more money than me.

With all due respect meant. WHAT stands to be gained by your success stories?

 

MDawg, can the nonsense. I know less than nothing about table games, but I did learn to count cards back in my youth when I was invited to blackjack tournaments. I was a clumsy, slow amateur, and I had friends who used multiple card counting strategies, who could be much more effective than me, so I subbed them in for me whenever possible. To dump promo chips, I've played other games.

When I say I know less than nothing, it means I'm an amateur and not a professional or expert at that particular endeavor. It's like having a BA instead of a Ph.D. You know how much you don't know.

One thing I do know a little bit about is casino math. And what I don't know, I ask people who have taught probability so I can learn. Your claim of having won 60'ish consecutive hands of blackjack is just ridiculous. Really just dumb-ass. And your alleged casino diary has the annoying habit of skipping the sessions you lose, which creates a really moronic narrative.

I spent 90-100 days each year in Las Vegas for roughly 30 years. In the last couple of years, my time there has been reduced to weeks each year instead of months. The bottom line is I have spent way, way, way more time in Las Vegas as a non-resident than you have. And I know more high stakes gamblers than you do. I know what can or cannot be done. I have friends who spent years in upper management of various casinos. I have friends who were jetted into LV on a regular basis. I've been a consultant for people who bet way, way more than you have lifetime.

Just zip it my friend. I have plans in place for your annoying me, and they are not pretty. Just put your ego and your fairy tales away, or there will be hell to pay. And as you know, I always tell the truth on these forums, so bear that in mind.

So either the Wizard reads this thread, which is highly likely, or someone ratted Buzz out. Because we all know the Wiz didn’t do the research on the 2 similar posts he used as an excuse to nuke the harmless old man.

REDietz I don't follow the criticism of you too closely but the recurring theme of complaints about you is that you never post anything until after the fact.

You sound rather...testy! could it be that anyone's saying anything against you gets the hairs standing up on your head? Ambition should be made of sterner stuff! Look at me...you and the UNKewl one spend hours writing volumes about me and I rarely respond. You're too funny claiming that you cannot tolerate further criticism of you when you dole it out right and left. Rather weak and pathetic actually.

I outed FastEddie. He was posting a bunch of incomprehensible nonsense that did seem like it was posted by an AI 'bot. I merely repeated what was said in this forum anyway, people were saying he was Buzz whoever Buzz was/is. I have nothing against Buzz don't know him but I don't like incomprehensible nonsense that looks like it came out of a random word generator.

 

No doubt Weak Wizard and OnceDear read this forum and VCT a couple times a month at minimum. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the 20-25 most active posters over there read here and VCT as well. We know Axel, Mission and Stooly DeMango have posted here in the past. Others like EvenBob/Spike, BigBilly, RdwPotus and Braggart Brownosing Soopooh are too scared to post here or elsewhere. They need their coddling safe houses and the strong hands of all the Dicktators to feel safe. Girlyboys !

 

Just another reason why you are one of the biggest POS ever on these forums. But maybe we all are so what’s the difference. Either way I give you all the credit in the world for coming back to WoV and showing everyone how easy it was to make the Wizard your bitch with a couple threats. You have him wrapped around your thumb like a puppet. For that you definitely deserve some respect.

I agree with you Boz, that Mdawg is one of the biggest POS ever on these forums.....and that is saying some. He also is a disgruntled forum member out to create havoc and destroy the forum and Wizards reputation, which Wizard has done a good job of doing himself.

I don't give credit or admiration of any kind for playing Wizard though. I hate, really hate that these trolls have completely taken over every public gambling related forum with their trolling, made up bullcrap and flat out open anger and bitterness toward players that work hard to actually win.

@ WoV, the top topic are what terminology a member can use to say they don't believe claims that defy math, the way casinos work and flat out common sense. A third of the everyday participants were suspended this week, for calling out what is obvious.

As much as I wanted to get back to WoV, from an unjust banning, I had no choice but to walk away. It is not longer even a gambling forum, certainly not the forum I left and now no different than the rest of these troll dominated forums. I guess it is all about trolling now and traffic for ALL these forums, not the gambling topic these forums are supposed to be about.

 

I'm not sure what you are unable to grasp here, MDawg. If someone is in public contests, the word "public" means people can view the plays and results.

For example, if you were monitored by an annual publication like "Tipsters or Gypsters?" then your total record gets published each year. This is because each week, a reporter monitored your plays before the games were played. See, it doesn't work if you report things after the fact. You'd get handicappers reporting results like yours. Nobody would believe them.

If you are published in a national newsletter like Playbook, then thousands, make that tens of thousands, of people around the country have seen your plays in print. Now that would be before the games were played. See, they have trouble selling football newsletters after games are played.

And if you're in a public contest, well, that would mean people can see your plays before games are played. I will link to one such contest below. This is coach's favorite competition. It's invitation only, and I've been in it for 30 years. Now let me explain this slowly -- contestant games are public before they are played. I know, pretty wild, right?

It's a completely different concept than playing table game sessions, and then reporting just the ones you win. It would be like having someone watching you ALL THE TIME.

No way to escape what teams you take. What a rad idea.

Over at WoV, gordonm888 says the latest posts are taunting. I really thought he was referring to professional troll, DunceDear. "Just stop it" gordon cries. Can't you just see him with his fingers in his ears going la la la la la la la la? Did they properly vet him? Is he really an immature 11 year old?

The guy seems a little up tight. Can someone send him a link to female double amputees so he can pleasure himself?

 

I don't know. I personally like that Gordon seems to be going back to how normal, mature, and reasonable he was before becoming Admin. The taunting that was going on before he called it out made ME uncomfortable. There were lots of personal Insults going on recently in that thread, so unsettling and uncomfortable, and I'm glad Gordon called it out. THAT'S more in line with the Person he was before becoming Admin. And I love it.
