Mendelson has more credentials and experience for what he does than the whole lot over there combined. The only thing which fits all the evidence about the yo's claim is it's the ultimate joke on the AP's. Obviously, Alan's okay. In very good spirits for someone who's led the life.

You're a founding member with only 61 posts. What can we tell you? That's less than 3 posts a month. Are you part of the problem or part of the solution?

You say the admins don't seem to be involved. You are dead wrong. Do you ever see any spam here? The sign of good administration is the fact that you don't see them involved. If you want a board run like a third grade, administered by sick ego maniacs, then you've come to the wrong place. One of the attractive things about this board is it's fair and efficient administration. Most of us are adults here and appreciate being treated as such.

If you have a gambling question, there are forums here that you can post in. We have a Casino Forum, a Miscellaneous Gambling Forum and 12 specific gambling forums. The Lounge is "For Off-Topic Discussions". You don't see lounge discussions spilling over to other forums. There's a reason for that. The admins that you say don't seem to be involved see to it.

You don't have to read or participate in any thread that doesn't appeal to you. You have gambling questions? Ask them in the appropriate thread and see what happens.

if you look at my earlier posts when this site was founded, i was one of the few starting threads. i was actually the first to post in and inaugurate the sports betting, blackjack, roulette, and slots sections, so i've tried to do my part to get the ball rolling here, but i obviously can't do it alone.

i think you completely misunderstood me. i absolutely love the fact that the admins don't participate here. i think i recall them saying they're not even gamblers, so that means they don't have an agenda and won't interfere with any discussions here, giving us free reign to discuss what we want. so i was actually complimenting this site when i said the admins don't seem to be much involved because it means we the members can make of this site what we wish. all i was saying is that i'd hate for the only thing this site to be about is this thread.

so i definitely want this thread to continue (if anything, for the views and new members it brings), i just want this site to be about more, and for it to have lots of interesting gambling discussions for all of us to benefit and learn from. that's all.

So although you want this site to be MORE than this thread(and I understand that).......its not this thread thats holding you back on other threads. Its not likethis thread is sucking people away from the craps thread and keeping them from posting there.

I understand now from your response that you are not blaming this thread.....it was more of an invitation ...using this thread to invite the masses to join in elsewhere. Thanks for the clarification.

 

Also the analogy to an "ex' is not quite right. This is simply a customer service issue in my mind...and I only speak for myself.

There is a saying in retail....'If you give someone great customer service, they may tell one or 2 people....but if you give horrible customer service....they will tell dozens". Actually its not just a saying...its a reality.
That is why customers service is a big deal in successful companies.

And poor customer service directed at me, or observed by me as my neighbors are mistreated are the same. Like the saying goes..."no man is an island"...

Wov has people running it that had no idea that there are consequences for poor customer service....especially with certain mistreated people.

One of the consequences is that some people quietly leave. And another consequence is that some people are more vocal and more relentless in their objections.

Whats going on at and around wov is a microcosm of what goes on with any business where customer service sucks. This thread is a byproduct of it.

 

blackhole, if you want some value out of Shack then follow his half point parlay card thread this coming NFL season. Normally, parlay cards are a sucker bet. But the half pointers are exploitable. The caveat is that you must live in or frequent Nevada to exploit them.

I have been a licensed health professional since the late 1970s. My net worth is just fine. But this thread is not about net worth. Its not a pissing contest where you can prove you are a fake phony and fraud. Its all about customer service and a business that provides terrible customer service.
A business that doesnt even admit its a business..and rather refer to itself as mikes home. As if the customers on the site are intruders in the manboy's home.
Its a "for profit" business...not mikes living room. Unless the manboy has billboards in his home and charges money for them.
There are sniveling cowards the inhabit wov that bow to the "mikes livingroom" premise and go through life groveling as if they are homeless and allowed to sleep on the living room floor. Those with no self respect will do that and its fine. They deserve to be looked on as intruders that the business is allowing to hang around out of the goodness of their hearts.

But the decline of member visits says, that there are folks like me who find ways to register customer complaints when mistreated. And as a goood neighbor,,,,register complaints when we view a neighbor mistreated. Some register complaints by leaving and never coming back. And others find ways to expose the mistreatment.....shine the light on it.....explain it.

when a customer complains about customer service of a business....the response of a well run business is not....."you are a piece of shit" or "whats in your bank account" or "take a flight and meet".

As a former customer of wov, I have the absolute right to respond to injustices that I see committed. And you have the perfect right to stay on topic and refute away.
However so far, you have not refuted one thing. You just want to get into a pissing contest regarding bank accounts, and travel plans.

If I am a customer of american airlines, and they give me bad customer service,. and continue to give my neighbors bad customer service........as a consumer I can quietly walk away and slither into my home and keep quiet....or I can be a man and speak up when I can....pointing out the continual mistreatment so as to help my neighbors in the future.
