Either Shack or Bovada ended their deal for WOO to affiliate with Bovada only. But their relationship never ended.

The people at wov cannot fathom that more than one person can feel that they are munchkin koolaide drinkers who applaude the socially backward, managements mistreament of customers. So they constantly assert that people are duplications. We couldnt possibly be separate people. So they become detectives in search of who posters really are. What a sad position to be in.

I always ask...why is this thread so popular if it didnt have truth backing it up.
And V asked the wiz to look inward and ask why such a pushback towards his actions.
A member in good standing on wov actually asked the wiz to stand down.

Possibly if he did, the other mods would see the writing on the wall where maybe one day they would be asked to stand down. Or maybe they will take it as a challenge to continue the wizards ways.....as a way to give the middle finger to the suggestion.

Taking it a step further since we disagree on what you see as poor "Customer Service". Who is the fool, the person with no skin the game as you say or the person who allows that person to stay in position? First off, I'm not sure what you mean by no skin. I assume he is drawing some kind of a salary for what he adds to the main site and he calls Chan the boss from time to time. So to me that makes him an employee just like most of people employed by a business. I would assume if the business failed (and that is a big if), he would lose his job. So if he is doing a bad job, why isn't he being replaced by the owner? Either the owner is an idiot who also doesn't care (I doubt it), or again he is making money off the sites and has much bigger things to deal with than a few people who feel they are being mistreated.

I have said before I have never met the Wizard, don't know if he is a good or bad person. I do know he grew a business and sold it for what we can assume was a good profit. He also now gets to still work for that business, collect a paycheck and not sweat the money. Not a bad deal.

Again the idiot here is Chan if the business is not making money for him and he allows it to continue. Somehow again, I don't think Chan got to where he is in life being an idiot when it comes to business. That is part I see you as missing. Your bitter you were told to leave and it obviously has effected your opinion on it.

 

I think Wizard came with the deal. Someone can look it up but I think Chan got stuck with him for 3 years. He was supposed to write articles and do various other things. Chan has to keep after him to do his job and the results so far have been sub par.

 

Do you think, if the manboy received 2.3 mil for the site with no ongoing 'salary"....he would squash the deal. He got his payday. And he even waived the tin cup to try to get more. He had one foot out the door.
So he is like any other employee in any business who doesnt care...doesnt need the money to live on. and behaves as he likes, as if consequences will not effect him. Thats what I see. I dont see a person who acts as if he needs his job.
And his mods watch and learn the behavior of the man they admire.

I totally agree.....chan gives him the keys. Chan allows it. And I have stated that in past posts when talking about Zuga....As zuga is a step closer to the manboy.....and can choose to stop the insanity.

I have worked in business where I dealt directly with customers, and people who worked next to me dealt with the same customers as well. If we got bad customer service complaints...it wasnt my bosses fault....it was my fault...it happened on my watch. And the same with wov//...there are customer service complaints and it first goes to the wiz and the mods who adore him. They are the first line. They are the ones on the frontline who are causing the interest in this thread. Over 23,000 views. That is alot of interest for what some claim is nonsense.

The "dont blame wiz or the mods...but blam upper managemet"....is a nice deflection.

In the end you have mods working for free for a profit making corporation...in charge of customer service.....following a man that is socially backward and doesnt interact well with people. And THIS is a good recipe???

Very possible, and if he is guaranteed a paycheck for 3 years, that makes it an even better deal for Mike. I'm sure we are not getting a copy of the sales agreement, so it is all speculation. Either way, I believe neither Mike or Chan is hurting for cash and the sites are doing exactly what Chan thought they would, drive business to online casinos. If that is happening at a level he is comfortable with it, the rest of it is a waste of his time.

I can't speak for the others but I for one readily admit that I am bitter and hurt that I was told to leave. You find a site that you like, want to participate on, want to contribute in a positive manner, hopefully to the betterment of the site and the enjoyment of both yourself and other. And you do so for 4 years, contributing 3200+ posts. That IS having some skin in the game, as Larry likes to say. You have invested your time and effort and energy. You enjoy the people you are communicating with and in my case many have been kind enough to tell and show that they appreciated my contributions as well.

And then some outsider comes along...someone who has not participated in 5 years 9 months and has no intent on participating going forward. Someone bringing a feud from another site. Someone with an agenda of silencing your opinion. But this outsider, is a friend of the administrator and he tells the administrator that he doesn't like what you are saying and to either censor or remove entirely from the site. And the administrator not caring that you are a long-time contributing member and the outsider is not and does not intend to be, boots you from the forum, on behalf of his friend. That is not only unfair and bad administrating, but it is a slap in the face. Total disrespect for you and the time and effort you invested in making that forum a better, stronger, more enjoyable experience. So yes...I am bitter and hurt.

 

The KEWLJ saga, points to the fact that the manboy acts as if he has no skin in the game. He went with a friend rather than the best interest of the business.
If the manboy did the opposite, and told QFIT that he was not a contributor and if he was upset he was free to continue to not visit or contribute.
Instead knowingly banning a well respected and frequent customer.....shows he feels he has no skin in the game. He could care less if the move was detrimental to the business.
And he has done this over and over....except thefollowers of KJ are more numerous and more vocal.

 

I don't know the specifics of your situation or anyone else. I suspect some of you may have issues with some of the other mods.

But in regards to my banning, I know for a fact that at least a couple of the other mods did not agree with or approve of Mike's handling of the situation and expresses that concern to him, just as many, many of the membership did. Unfortunately Mike has made it abundantly clear, democracy and other people's concerns carry zero weight in his world. He is king and beyond reproach.

 

And if a mod is presented with a situation going forward where its their personal desire vs the good of the business...they have learned that the good of the business comes second...time and time again....And the KJ saga reinforces that mindset.

Thats the way its always been...its just more visible with KJ
