Thanks for sharing your communication with Norm WizofNot. But....oh god....more crap I have to address. Let's start with the current lie. Norm swears he had nothing to do with the truce, my suspensions, or banning. He claims he never asked or requested or influenced Shackleford or never even contacted Mike about me. Shackleford says otherwise. I posted some of Mike's private messages to me, where Mike claims that Norm complained, etc. Someone is lying. I mean I am not really even involved in this little battle. Either Norm or Mike is lying.

As dishonest s Mike has been with me throughout this ordeal, I am inclined to believe him, simply because I know from other sources that Norm did similar elsewhere. I also have personally experienced his crybaby tactics when he has twice filed a complain with yahoo mail because I contacted him. I know he also filed complaints against the zenzone website. I have also seen him threaten to sue people over copyright violations. That's what he does...he is a crybaby/bully. So if I had to bet, I would bet Mike is telling the truth on this one. Norm cried like a baby, just as he always does.

Now what's next?

Oh ok...here's what's next. Norm's claim that “all this is over the fact that I want everyone to play Hi-lo, like I play”.

He keeps repeating this pure garbage despite me correcting him a hundred times. I don't give a Flying Fuck what count players choose to play. To each his..own. Players should play what they are comfortable with and can play efficiently (and that “efficiently” part is big). I have friends that I network with that play other counts. I myself played a different count for a period of time. Why would I care about that??

What I have said is that new players coming to a site asking what count they should play should probably be directed to hi-lo to start. It's kind of best to start at the beginning. They can move to something else later, if they feel they should. Basically, in my humble opinion, anyone asking what count they should play or what they difference in counts are or anything like that, isn't ready to consider anything but hi-lo or K-O or something simple. By the time, if ever they are ready to consider something else, they will know the answers to those types of questions.

And finally again with my problems at 5 different message board sites. Complete exaggeration! I have been banned at 2 sites. Norm's and now Mike's at Norm's request or demand or influence or whatever you want to call it.

It is true that I have stopped participating at BJ21 in the last 6 months. That was my own choosing as there is just not much beneficial discussion anymore...just arguments and pissing contests. The administrator at BJ21, Al Rogers, personally contacted me to tell me that I am very welcome there and welcome to discuss whatever I like...no restrictions. So that is just more Norm bullshit.

 

As for blackjackinfo. I think I have explained that situation. It wasn't a feud with anyone or a flame war or argument of any kind. The fake death thing had to do with a robbery at gun point. It was a stupid idea and episode that I am not proud of. And yes, I was suspended for a brief period, but returned to that site after a few week, with Ken Smith's approval and continued to positively contribute until the day the site shut down.

Then I went to Norm's site where I was the one encouraging him to start that message board. I made the very first post and had one of the highest ratings on his site through the first 4 years. So Norm and I haven't always been such enemies. His software is top-notch and surely enabled me success at BJ beyond my own simple mathematical abilities. His book, modern Blackjack is also top notch. Very comprehensive and easy to understand with hundreds of charts and graphs and a focus on today's current and changing conditions, that few other books cover. I have recommended Norm's software and book hundreds of times over the years. I just can no longer do so, for fear players will find his message board and the voodoo that this small group of misfits/outcasts, each with a different agenda seems to have.

I would love to get into more details of that little band of misfits that Norm protects, but I am not going to. Let's just say they are not credible and their claims so fantastic, that myself and a couple other known professional players felt compelled to speak up and challenge their credibility. I don't know where Norm came up with I called them all criminals??? I can't even vaguely comprehend where that might have come from. What I said, is each of these different 3 or 4 "people" has an agenda. One is writing a book. One has stated he wants to make a name for himself as "one of the blackjack greats". A third calls himself "a 20+ year professional blackjack player". He isn't he is retired from another professional career and took up card counting in his retirement instead of golf. Nothing at all wrong with that! But he never lived off of blackjack play, which is his sales pitch for every new player that he wants to tutor. He says he tutors them at no charge, but he gets them to pay his membership fees at Norm's site, at BJ21 as well as buy him a meal when they meet up. What kind of professional player can't afford to pay his own few dollar membership fees at a message board??

Anyway....I think that's more than enough for now.

Just from the "good neighbor" perspective, and the empathy for someone with substandard intellect, I can briefly say the following.
