Your 15 minutes have come and gone a long time ago. No doubt KJ, MrV, and Ditz are complete fools. But your shtick is really played out, boring, and just plain stupid.

There is no way in gods name you could possibly be as well off as you claim and carry on day after day on these forums. No matter when I look in, there you are making a bigger fool of yourself then your last post. It’s obvious you’re the one spending endless hours scrolling these foolish gamble-less forums.

Maybe the owners appreciate your participation for the sake of clicks from the same small bunch of foolish people who find this stupidity worth reading.

Most here could not care less if the 4 of you drove off a cliff. Trust me when I say no one is going to send any flowers.

I can’t help but agree at this point that you are just a has been gambling fool. No way you are what you claim. Successful people regardless where the success comes from, would never behave with the amount of played out stupidity you exposed.

Well, I'm still going to send a Barbie Dreamhouse to Rob's sister (with a signed title), but there's no sense arguing further with somebody whose claim to success is that he doesn't own anything.

The strange thing is that, as recent posting has unfolded, blackhole's caveats about posters have pretty much all been fulfilled. You have Mickey, who clearly does not know what he doesn't know, as a machine specialist who claimed to win at everything (poker, sports, all types of machines) on GWAE. Then you have a handful of small fry sports gamblers at VCT claiming that "EV" is something one can use in talking about sports betting going forward.

Using "EV" as some jargon to help explain past results, in a past tense, is okay. But to use the term "EV" in sports betting to describe going forward is inappropriate because it's being used as another way of saying, "in my opinion" or "in my estimation." So why not just say, "In my opinion?" Sports betting can't be predicted or controlled like coin flips. You would fail Probability 101 for trying to analogize them.

I can tell you that the biggest sports gamblers, those who have bet the highest volume and those who have won the most and the most experienced, basically never use that term "EV." So you're left to wonder who knows what they're doing -- the biggest bettors and the biggest winners in the world, or the handful of dudes betting table scraps at VCT or WOV.

Most of these posters are playing at gambling, which is kind of the attitude the late Alan Mendelson had regarding them. It's pretty much correct. They're playing roles and playing pretend. But they're not making a living doing it. And frankly, they aren't betting very much. Lots of posing, but not much significant gambling.

LOL at comrade thinking smoke and mirrors will work for him. The Johnson City property tax formula is pretty simple. You can look it up online:

Multiply the appraised value by 25%

Then multiply the 25% by .01

Then multiply that number by 1.71

In Ditz's case 120K X .25 = 30K

30K X .01 = 300

300 X 1.71 = $513

Now if Johnson City wanted to give property owners a tax break they wouldn't reduce the appraised value. That's just stupid because it wouldn't be a correct valuation. In comrade's case reducing the appraised value from 240K to 120K then using the above formula is not how they give property tax breaks. Modifying the formula is how it's done.

They would reduce the 1.71 from the above formula. For example:

300 X 1.2 = a tax bill of $360

If comrade's home was worth 240K his tax bill would be $1026.

I'm not sure I should shake my head in disbelief....or hang it in shame, for thinking those calls & texts to sell me picks from redietz and his "associates" were because he at least had a sports betting business of some kind going on.

Now we find out he has been also touting his "Tennessee living" while actually residing in some odd-looking hillbilly shack that's perpetually behind on it's taxes. And those trips to LV all the time? How do you say ADDICTION!?

Things are busy around here, but as we get ready to leave for a week in Taos & Santa Fe in 24 hours there's a few items you may want to take into account if you're itching to make a bet or two on Sunday's Super Bowl.

1. Stay away from prop bets. They're for suckers. They have no math behind them and always end up being lucky or unlucky guesses.

2. Don't expect much from SB commercials. Up until about 2010 they used to be something interesting to look forward to. But they've become too much about showcasing stupid and irrelevant "social justice" issues, which fans couldn't really care less about. There's far too many commercials touting natural climate change as bad, and we don't need the sick gay & transgender agendas forced down our throats. And just HOW many times are they gonna pretend every white person is married to and prefers blacks as spouses anyway? Pssst....don't tell anybody, but while the league is 70% black, take a look at the crowds in the stands on any given Sunday at any NFL stadium anywhere--esp. this Sunday's game: THEY'RE 98% WHITE! Why? Likely because our prisons are filled with negroes at the rate of 65%. Imagine if some woke NYC commercial tried to explain THAT.

3. Go do some chores during halftime. While I kinda like Rhianna and thought she did a super job acting in the very entertaining movie Battleship, the NFL only puts up people like her for appeasement purposes. I just hope they too don't get bamboozled into having that fool Pit Bull come out of a door jumping up and down to her music with his arms straight up, trying to spit out some idiotic rap lyrics again.

4. I don't like many of the players on either of the teams this year, so my pick is not based on who I'm more of a fan of. But Philly has a much more complete team. I'm not convinced Mahomes is as good as Hurts has shown to be this year, and the Eagles have a far better defense. KC got absolutely HUMILIATED by the Tampa offense AND defense 2 years ago, and if Philly is smart, they'll review those videos over and over again--especially how they kept unrelenting pressure on Mahomes. The KC defense is never very good, and I believe they'll get torched by Hurts and their very potent offense--albeit in a very different way than Brady carved them up.

If Punk can get Rob Singer (Post 1391) to provide any evidence of emails, texts, PMs or phone calls where any number or email of mine tried to sell him anything, I'll give them each a thousand dollars.

Now if Rob says he deleted all texts and phone numbers and has no PMs or emails, but he says honest to gosh that they existed, what should Punk's conclusion be? Is his conclusion that Rob deleted every text, phone number, email, and PM? Or should his conclusion be something else?

P.S. As was the case for the SF/KC SB, I will be one of the few Americans not watching the game. As Rob says, places to be and things to do. Second shift at Burger King is unrelenting.

I believe redietz is worried about his dwindling sports betting "reputation" on these meaningless forums. Plus it's a way of deflecting attention AWAY from his tax delinquency. And THAT explains why he needs to sell "expert picks" while never posting any picks anywhere until after the games are played.

 

Smurgerberger on why losers like UNKewlJ care so much about the winning ways of others: In my experience it's always the mediocrities in a field that display a particular fervor. Is it to suppress the fear that they are in some sense impostors themselves? I don't know.
