Several weeks ago I was on an East coast trip. Fellow troll and hater Mdawg, you know the multi-millionare who is now winning millions from the casinos and claims to have been doing so for 30 years going back to 1990's, that guy? Well he posted that I was on an imaginary trip back east, or make-believe or whatever word he used. I read that while I happened to be at a casino in Pennsylvania taking a little break from playing eating a cheesesteak at Tony Lukes in the Casino. So when I finished, I got up walked outside and took a picture of the casino, located in Lancaster/Amish country in Pennsylvania. The picture showed the main entrance that said Hollywood Casino. And THAT wasn't good enough for you crazy loones in denial.

Later that trip, I took a picture from my friend's house were we were visiting from her deck, of the backyard surrounded by a wooded area with many trees. I took that picture because it was beautiful, but also as proof that I was in Pennsylvania, with these nut jobs saying I wasn't. What did I get as a response from coach belly? He said there was no such location in Pennsylvania. Well it sure as hell wasn't Nevada, was it?

Long periods of losing. Backoffs, entries in the databases, and now a back-rooming incident from a botched trespass. And I every right to share these experiences on a gambling forum.

You, of course, are completely correct. I'm probably making it all up, which is why I invite people to sit down for meet-and-greets when I'm in Las Vegas. And (wait for it) -- drum roll please -- I'm actually there. LOL.

I mean, I'm reading a couple of radio scripts here for The Gangster Chronicles and one script, which lists me as writer, is called "The Gods of Odds." The other lists me as co-writer along with the filmmaker and another dude. It's called "A Question of Honor." And then there's the alleged book (note: unlike some folks, I didn't pay to have a book published), available for signing. It's called "Driving Southern," and the short non-fiction story is titled, "The Car Makes the Man," which is likely the reason The Gangster Chronicles recruited me.

Anyway, as Rob opines, it's probably all bullshit. So come visit me July 15-21 (dates subject to slight adjustment). I'll be available for questions and all that. If Dennison is able to make the trip (he's editing three films at the moment, plus a film on which he was, I think, second director, The Art Thief, will be out sometime in the fall/winter), he'll be glad to explain how I'm bullshitting about it all. I believe Dennison has a brief cameo in The Art Thief, also, so look for him. The Art Thief is adapted from the recent book.

Books are pretty heavy. How many do you carry to Vegas? 50? A hundred? The big question today is what does a suitcase full of books weigh? What idiot would want to pack all that weight around for a book that doesn't sell. What do the airlines charge for all that extra weight? Would a cheapskate like ditz pay for the extra weight?

Redietz, Reno to LV is not a short trip. It is 500 miles by car. And in case you haven't noticed, Rob only travels by car for a number of years now. Annual trips to South Dakota and Minnesota...by car. Trips from Phoenix to Reno (almost 800 miles)...by car. A trip to Austin last year to see family, (almost 1300 miles...by car. A trip to the east coast and back last summer...by car. Would it really surprise anybody if the old boy is on the no fly list?

Add to that, that the most recent trips it seems like it seems like it is Rob's wife doing all the driving. It further wouldn't surprise me if he has lost his license....maybe for medical reasons?

Just an observation.

Or it could be that Rob likes taking a week to get to places that most people would get to in a couple hours. It gives him a chance to spend the night in rest stops.

 

Maybe they bring their dog along with them when they travel.

My wife insists on driving, because she thinks she's a better driver than me.

Fine by me, I just spend the drive time searching the forums for gotchas.

 

In case you are unaware....pets can travel by plane.

 

Some dogs don't like to spend time in the crate, under the forward seat.

It can be cruel...they whine...like you do.

Personally, I need the leg room, I don't want anything under the seat in front of me.

 

What a surprise -- kew gets trampled and hurt so he concocts silly, unflattering scenarios about me But....as usual, kew is about to get hurt even further. I'll be happy to take full credit for his heart palpitations (which he's so deservedly used to) and his intestinal problems as a result!

We share driving on these long trips, and we started from Minn. We do have Porsha with us. The RV is stored in Carson City. We dropped off the Charger in SD and now have our truck, because we're going to different RV parks in the Tahoe area.

The no-fly list? That's funny. I held three different million-mile airline status cards when I retired (American, Lufthansa, Cathay Pacific/United). I gave up flying for good in 2005, as did my wife.

And leave it to an inexperienced dope like kew to suggest putting ANY dog--let alone a 13-1/2 yr. old spoiled little shih tzu that cost $3000--into one of those crates in the cruel section of the plane.

We know kew despises people who do things differently than him and are successful at it, as well as anyone who's pegged him and his piles of constantly flowing BS. We now know he also hates dogs--our planet's most wonderful of all living things.

Same deal as always, Rob. If you agree that two family members will be available with you for filming, I'll do it any time. I need to be able to verify in advance via Zoom or phone call directly with them that they agree to be part of the in-person interviews.

That's the way it's been from the very beginning. That's the way it is now. You're the one who can't get two family members to interview with you. Damned shame. Wonder why not.
