If it was not for his lucky timing of third world countries trying to corner the illegal online gambling market at that time, this fool most likely would have a broken-up family living off the feds like migrants do now. So funny reading the election betting thread on WoV and watching the same fools salivating over their bets. Even funnier is watching AxelWolf making a fool of himself trying to keep up with MDawg. Thing is...the Dawg is going easy on Axel but the "captain" still manages to step in it left and right.

I FMLd watching Polymarket forever, but thinking the fake asF polls had some possibility of not being straight wrong. If we go paper w/ ID there will be no need for betting markets on this and one side will get more rolled than ever like 666 to nothing.

 

I took the Trumpster a long time ago in a universe far, far away. And did not get a great number, as I thought it would be all Trump money after Biden's "debate" performance. I could have actually done somewhat better had I waited.

But a "W" is a "W." I've rarely been so wrong about a line movement of any kind. I never thought Harris would actually attract money, but she did, at least a little bit.

As Blackhole can affirm, Trump was solidly favored in sports books from start to finish. So when it came to pollsters versus oddsmakers, the oddsmakers got it right. Kind of reminds me of most NCAA tournament seedings.

Anyway, bottom line, my next LV excursion is paid for by Mr. Trump so that's a good thing.

 

Blackhole, what was Shackleford's reason for taking Harris? I find it hard to believe that he saw offshore odds, saw polling numbers, and prioritized the polling over the actual offshore odds. But I guess he did.

This came down to who did you believe, the oddsmakers or the people doing the US polling?

 

Oh yeah, one last thing. Not sure I mentioned it here, but I likely did.

Axelwolf corrected me when I was reminiscing about what video poker games were where in Las Vegas back in the 90's. I played maybe 40 hours of video poker a year (not a week, a year), so I accepted Axelwolf's correction of my reportage and didn't argue. I just assumed he was right.

Then I stumbled onto an old American Casino Guide from the time in question, and I had been correct. Axelwolf plays probably 20 times the video poker I play any given year.
