Misc WizardOfVegas Forum is Dying

He said the topic has been "discussed to death" already. I have yet to hear him discuss it. I have yet to hear him give a legitimate reason why he banned a 4 year contributing member in favor of someone who isn't a member and had and has absolutely no intent of contributing to the site.

In fairness, I guess I have seen him give an honest answer....that Qfit was his friend asked and bullied him into doing so. However that answer was said privately. He wasn't and still isn't, honest enough to tell the truth to his membership that inquired.

Did you notice he even changed the title of the thread? The original title was "Where's Qfit?" But he didn't want "Qfit" in the title as that would direct people to the thread and remind people how unfair and dishonest he has been.

 

Yeah, and there are lots of threads still going where things have already been discussed to death.

One other kind of funny thing. I live in a rather untraditional household. There are 4 adult males. Two full-time blackjack AP's. One video poker player supplementing his social security. And one poker player (who I refuse to call an AP as he does). So the little IP check thing insures that all 4 of these Las Vegas residents, with a lifestyle that revolves around gambling are ineligible to participate at WoV. And that includes at least one guy that could be a prime target type for the parent company of that site, LCB, regarding their prime business of online gaming.

I hate to quote LarryS, but that is some interesting customer service techniques. It is once again, a case of Wizards interests and actions not lining up with the parent company that he represents.

And one other thing. I happen to know for a fact that the account in question used the UNLV network. Therefore under WoV protocol, some 28 thousand students at UNLV and presumably tens of thousands more visitors using that network, are now blocked from the site and potentially becoming customers of LCB. Not that college kids are known to gamble all that much.

 

Isn't there another identifier besides ip- I might be wrong but I think it's combined with ip and some device identifier- otherwise you would be blocking full condo buildings that supply wifi or cities that give free wifi and that can't be the case

You post photos of $1k bets but you don't have any of the $100k that you routinely claim to have on "the table" with a crowd watching you. What casino allows spectators in the high limit ares?

Let be honest you're a hypocrite when it comes to bashing AP considering you claim to AP sports. If it's true you beat sports you yourself would be an AP.
