Yes, the ..I am going to get you back for the rest of your life fuck you ending came well before he came here.
And then that wasnt revealed till a couple weeks after he arrived on this site. THATS when the tipping point of others hoping for his reinstatement tipped away from support.
So you are correct....how did you know what was being said privately.

I feel like you. It was up to KJ and for Buz and even me.....if we wanted to get back in...we could have handled things differently AND ... where there is a will there is a way.

If I quietly left WOV and came here, and was supportive of Mike, and said I could see his point and sent PMs to you and others, and worked my way into a "good standing"......maybe I could expect someone to go to bat for me.

But based on my behavior...I couldnt with good concience expect anyone to go to bat for me. I cant have it both ways. I cant have the satisfaction of saying "fuck you" to the things and people that are wrong at wov, and then complain that no one would help me get back in.

Its all up to me to resolve, and only ask for help of others when I have exhausted all avenues

KJ could have asked for help. Its no disgrace to ask. Dont assume the world is just waiting to help you(KJ). Open your mouth and ask. Give the breakdown of what you have done to help yourself and then ask ask ask.

going out of your way to have the initial PMS with MIKE was great. And if they didnt pan out.....THEN....asking face or mission to help would have been perfect timing.

However instead of doing that, you chose the other fork in the road....the ...i am going to expose you for the rest of your life.....path.

At that point asking for help is useless.

Ok, well for starters there IS an issue involving me and WoV that I am immediately asking your help (as a mod) with. I would have asked Mike directly, but I have no way to contact him any more.

The issue: As you are probably aware, someone going by 'seinfeld' posted earlier today in the current Norm - Qfit thread over there. This person who evidently knows me from the old Blackjackinfo site, had some unfavorable things to ay about me. That's fine. Whoever he is, is entitled to his opinion (it was only me on WoV that was not entitled to my opinion....but that's another matter).

Anyway, what I object strongly to is the many references to me by my handle including first name. I did use my name as part of my handle years ago when I was younger and stupid (er), and didn't realize what an issue that was, but for a number of years I have dropped the name in favor of kewlj or KJ. The identity issue is a huge thing to me and most AP's and this post by Seinfeld was damaging in that regard. So even though the damage is likely done, please at the very minimum remove that name portion of references about me.

    thank you.

So if I change my screen name ,it would be off limits for people to refer to me as "the former LarryS".....

of if someone has an old pictireof themselves on the internet......its off limits to post it on another site....as was done with face.

You just want to be confrontational LarryS. You always want to be confrontational!

AP's whether professional or recreational have to deal with some things that gamblers don't. Like being forced to play anonymously because the casinos don't want our action. And they go to great lengths, multiple data based, high tech surveillance. Some of the database companies are even known to monitor AP related websites. :( So yeah, it is a big deal to most of us, especially those of us that rely on this for our livelihood. I understand you wash balls for a living, so I am not surprised you are not familiar with how sensitive this is to AP's.

I mean I put about 10 million dollars in action on the blackjack felt each year in order to score a less than 1% return. I would LOVE to be able to put that amount in action while not playing anonymously, but instead playing rated. That would be a real tidy little bonus in the form of comps, and free play and free chips and everything. That would probably increase my income upwards of 30%. But that's not the way it works. We are forced to play anonymously and thus protect our identity as best we can. o_O

Yes dickhead, I posted under that name for a number of years, but not in the last 5, except the poker forum, which is a bit safer and I participate very sparingly. Blackjackinfo has been shut for 5 years, so there was no way to change anything. BJ21 and Blackjack the forum both changed my handle a number of years ago at my request. Thanks for continuing to make an issue of it and point it out when I asked for discression. You are really such an A-hole.

Already done, but I will include a warning...

This is likely going to cause a shit storm. Between the folks who are anti any editing, to those who are opposed to you, to those opposed to favoritism and on and on, this action will come to light and I'd bet cash money it'll turn into a whole 'nuther fuckarow. That's fine; it was my choice, my action, and I DO believe in protecting folks' personal info.

But do not expect to not receive backlash. I'm not. I fully expect to be embroiled in this shit show right along with you now. They might even call for my head. And if called for, I'll give it to them.

You stated earlier that a return to WoV is a start. Seems you got but three folks willing and able to help with that. But if you send me on a mission that takes me to my own death, you'll lose one and have a whole other heap of horse shit to wade through.

Many have called me a tool. Now, it appears I'm being wielded by you. Use me wisely.

Thank you I do appreciate this action. I hope it doesn't cause you any grief. I honestly don't see why it should. WoV is still a site 'somewhat' related to AP play and consisting of some AP's. Any AP would most assuredly understand the reasoning behind such a move. I am sure even with my differences with Mike, he would have acted on my request had I been able to contact him.

The people that aren't AP's and don't understand this being a tricky issue for AP's are likely just looking for something to get upset about anyway.

I have faith that the membership at WoV is more understanding than you anticipate. Again, I appreciate your action.

Did I say that LarryS?? For god sakes, just stop being a dick and act like a human being.

I am not even going to respond to you any longer... You just are truly nuts, with the singular intent to start trouble and be confrontational.

There is definitely a litmus test for professional gamblers. The next time you file your taxes pencil in professional gambler as your occupation and see what happens. The IRS has strict requirements for allowing you to file as a professional gambler. You can't just talk the talk. You have to walk the walk. You have to prove to them that your primary source of income is from gambling. You can't be a non-gambling related business owner or employee sidelining as a gambler and claim to be a professional gambler.

Both the professional and recreational gambler can write off their losing sessions up to the amount of their winning sessions. But thats as far as it goes for the recreational gambler. The professional gambler can write off business related expenses against his win....like travel, meals, lodging, etc. He can deduct his health care insurance against his win. He must pay the full amount of self-employment tax (social security 15%). He can put up to $50,000 of his win per year in an IRA.

But here is the caveat. The IRS is going to treat you like any other business. You have to show a profit three years out of five. If you don't then the IRS considers you not to have a business but rather just a hobby....and they will take away that title of "professional gambler: that you listed as your occupation on your tax forms.

on a tax return the govt also recognizes
    Professional House Sitter
    Professional Baby Sitter
    Professional Security Guard
    Professional Ditch Digger
    Professional Bedpan Emptier
    Professional concession stand worker

They wont send back your tax return telling you that they are not professions.

As long as you send them the right amount of money, you can put "professional" in front of anything.

And there is. No room to resolve it and let him back?

Nope. Will never happen as long as I have anything to do with it.

There are two forum members who are dead to me -- Kewlj and Statman.

    ***I USED BOLD ABOVE

So this puts it all to bed. It seems he doesnt take threats kindly. He says also if he was threatened with a lawsuit he would have nuked the person.
Even I of all people am not dead to him. .....Interesting.

    so there IS a chance.................................:p

At least the manboy is consistent....if.you dont like it go somewhere else......Now THAT is what I have been talking about throughout this thread.
Basically told WON if he doesnt like the decision......go away. That must make WON feel like a valued customer. Oh yeah, he is a guest in mikes living room....and thats the way he should be talked to.
    some things never change.

A less socially backward man, might say something like "I understand your stance, however based on behind the scenes interactions reinstatement will not occur and its not open for debate."
There is no reason to invite valued posters to leave the site.
Its "zugas place" in reality...so what the fuck does he care if more people leave....proof positive....he doesnt care.

And this guy is in charge of "running" the board. Funny situation.

this one small exchange on that board exemplifies much of what I have been saying for a year here

I am glad this makes you happy LarryS.

Do you think this is a sock to me? I knew Shackleford wasn't man enough to admit his mistake. He's a very small man, a small individual. hasn't that been evident to all of us (an I am sure most of those at WoV) for quite a while.

What I did find kind of amusing is the tone. You could just feel the anger, yet again. The guy is a real hot head....has a real nasty temper. You can just se it the way he reacts by flying off the handle.

I find it funny that I have been much harder on him that you have...for longer....and I am not on his "dead to me" list.

only difference is ..that I never threatened him.

maybe thats where he draws the line

Now in a new development, I see this Seinfeld person that made the post that I was not thrilled about because I think he tried to intentionally use my name, has sort of quietly been nuked. I say quietly because there was no mention in the thread, but it is listed on the suspension wall as "sock puppet of Allin". Does anyone know who is Allin? I can't find anything on him? Is it supposed to be Allen or Allan?

I am just curious because I would like to know who that was, just for curiosity sake. Several of the guys that I network with are convinced it one of the top AP/math guys of the current time. You know the guy that wrote that highly regarded AP book that periodically goes on sale for several thousand dollars on ebay. I am not going to say his name because I am not as convinced of this as some of those that I network with and don't want to falsely accuse, but it does seem a strong possibility. It would be kind of humorous if that was the case that this guy, thought of as one of the top AP's in many fields, whom I am sure Shackleford worships, was nuked at WoV.

And how does discussing his identity tie in to a reason why the "wov forum is dying".
I would think the suspension of a sock or someone out to harm someone is something good....I dont see how THAT would be an example why the forum is dying,

    Oh I forgot.

    nevermind
