I guess the hurricane didn't blow away the beached whale's shack over there in Florida. Otherwise she wouldn't have been busy suspending MrV for 7 days....7 days for a post that didn't come close to breaking any rules. Was that a first offense, MrV?

The whale must have gotten bored talking about RS' "morning wood". (Sept 18th miscellaneous discussion thread). Apparently she likes them young...the disgusting perv. She should have been suspended for that....A no brainer if there ever was one.

And what's with Deuceskies? He posted: "Quoting in case this gets deleted". Really DOUCHEskies? Then he said "The flag button doesn't exist". Wah wah boo hoo. It's okay Doucheskies the kiss ass button is still there.

 

I wondered whether I'd get suspended when I posted it; not because the post was against the rules, but because it was controversial / politically incorrect.

Awfully damned thin-skinned, if you ask me.

I checked the WOV suspension list to see exactly which rule was violated by MrV. Big surprise. He's not on the list. That's what happens when those incompetents back themselves into a corner. The whale can't come up with a reason so she leaves it off the list....knowing full well that no munchkin will dare question her. Someone over there should do just that.

So let's look at the real reason for this suspension that manboy stood by and ignored....7 days for a longtime top contributor who has always behaved himself. Could it be sour grapes because MrV posts here and at GG? Is this the gotcha that they've been waiting for? Is this for former tin cup references? Nice try manboy and beached whale. Everyone sees right through you.

Even if they come up with a flimsy excuse there's still the matter of a warning or a 3 day suspension. What do you think the punishment would have been if, say, a certain fat blonde made those same comments. Absolutely nothing.

The last entry on the suspension list is a guy whose was supposed to be back Thursday. He's still in red. More great work from the fools in charge.

Another secret admirer of Beached Whale? It may be someone from here. The writing and content look somewhat familiar but I wouldn't want to speculate. After all she's equally loathed across many boards though I can't imagine why. I hope he returns there as often as Buzzard does.

 

I got the boot for this phrase "black s.o.b.'s" Shack had a knee jerk liberal reaction to it. No request for clarification. The phrase is totally racist to a knee jerk liberal. But don't try to tell me that if a black man would have posted up "white s.o.b.'s" on WoV he would have been treated the same as me. No action would have been taken by knee jerk liberal Mike. The word "nigga," which I used to create the made up word "niggativity" is not nearly as offensive as is the word "nigger."

In fact, in context, it is neutral, and that was my intended use of the word.

Exactly. I don't know why SOOPOOP had to stick his nose in and jump the gun assuming it was you. He did offer an apology later which is something that manboy or the beached whale would never do.

if you want to freak people out....when you get back just declare that you will neither confirm or deny that MrV2 is you.

Also.....this is where being known, lead to a suspension.

1- if no one ever met MrV......he could have claimed that he was indeed black.....and he uses that "nigga" term all the time as part of his cultural daily repertoire of language. So beached whale....dont judge unless u arein my shoes as a black man. Now THAT would have been cool.

2- even if people have met him...they have done no genealogy test....he could have mixed races in his ancestry ...who the fuck are we to assume anything one way or the other.

But by having met him, beached whale made an assumption that he is a white male who spouts what appears to her to be racist commentary in this case.

That is rather a big assumption to base punishment on...especially with no racist language history.

I remember on a talk radio show, a personality in the 70's .....got in trouble for calling Diana Ross......acting "niggardly" for promising to do a concert in central park and then backing out.

It seems people of ignorance...even back then...were looking for a "gotcha" moment....even if one didnt exist

You see, unlike someone who posted racist and vulgar rants in the past, and was not punished....and instead had secret little deletions......MrV did not qualify for THAT treatment.

This was not a "last straw" case.....as it was in the case of someone else who I wont mention.

There is a precedent for not punishing, and instead quietly censoring out the offensive words........but I am not clear who qualifies for that special treatment. Obviously not MrV.

 

Oh well, looks like I'm left with my "just desserts."

So I would ask Face, as I can use this as a classic example of uneven punishment.
You claim that MC was a good member, and for that reason, you and others would quietly remove his offending material and avoid doling out punishment. You and other mods have admitted that.

So MrV seems to be a member in good standing. He contributes to the well being of the site via giving his opinions, and even his professional
expertise.

so why doesnt he qualify for the secret deletion treatment. You know...the treatment where there is no punishment.

or even a PM warning.....along with the secret deletion

what is the hard on mods have over there for punishing only certain customers
