I also don't believe various individuals and their claims however there's many advantage players that don't even belong to any forums. I know multiple people who have done nothing but AP successfully for over 20 years and they still play to this day.

What technology are you talking about and how will it affect AP?

Technically oftentimes helps advantage players, it's been that way since the beginning. For example: They were able to add video poker to casino.
Also with VP and slots when they added progressive technology it suddenly made it significantly better. With advancing technology they added Full pay deuces wild. Slot card technology added even more with up to 1% cash back.

People could've made about $20 an hour just playing $1 FPDW without a slot card, promotions or anything extra. People actually got RFB and lived in casinos year round and used their points to buy clothing, personal care items, gifts, shows entertainment and whatever you could imagine. Start adding promotions, slot, tournaments, cash back, comps, nice gifts etc etc and it was a good living in the 90's. I know a few people that lived free and made money at the casinos for more than a year. Someone could save 50k for a year just playing $1 FPDW.

I know someone that lived at the Fiesta playing 10/7 $1 progressives, slot progressives and anything that was +EV there. They only had to give a certain amount of action per week. They had the freedom to take advantage of other plays around town.

Technology allowed the casinos to add complicated video poker like the 10/7 double bonus poker and other +EV machines up to 3% advantage.
It allowed +EV banking bonus slots and video poker. It allowed casino slot systems that gave smart players an advantage.
It allowed them to have the ability to give free play that added a significant advantage for AP's.

    With new technology comes mistakes.

Who know where skill gaming will lead. it could be super good a few years from now.

The speed of word of mouth technology killing plays. Same reason I think you actually belong to forums, to police and try and stop word of mouth.

Sure skill gaming could be super good a few years from now, but it could also take a turn for the worst. If the casinos think their slot machine profits are being hindered and decide to take an interest in it I'm sure things could change for the AP. My guess is whatever you guys make on slots is only effecting the recreational gambler, not their bottom slot line. This is why they don't give a shit.

When Revel was in trouble and put a good offer out there to gain new customers, the AP's killed it quickly. So, no one got anything.

I hope you AP's drain every profitable dollar from the casinos. Personally, even with all the millions being made and printed about by AP's it still doesn't seem to effect their bottom line.

Listen, my posts at WOV was not about AP's. It was about the forum itself and the new backdoor off shore online gambling black market promoter gangsters who own the site and are taking advantage of what the membership actually believes in about themselves. Another words the owners are AP'ing the members.

    Axel,

I bet if you got the rest of the self proclaimed AP's together over there, then threaten that everyone will leave, you might be able to squeeze some payola from the owners to stay on board. LOL

Your second paragraph here is pretty good. So why don't you thrill the peanut gallery by explaining this super strong play to us. C'mon, exotard! You can do it, Mr. Professional!

And, exotard, with your AP brilliance, you should have no problem analyzing this game and explaining it to the peanut gallery.

If your betting (.50?) Whatever amount you're eligible for the progressive do you still get paid for 3 out of 7? it's blank under the progressive column.

you are in the minority. TH e nFL is part owner of Draftkings......they want people to be financially invested in games, teams and players.
Obama got rid of online poker but he seems to be in the back pocket of big business...because sports betting was not shut down on the internet.

Personally, I am at the point that I cant watch a bunch of poorly educated, spoiled multi-millionaires, who barely speak the english language after a lifetime of education in this country.......just for the pure joy of it....without having something on the game, or if not having some money on the game, at least watching the game as an educational tool for my future bets.

but like you said..its personal taste. I used to be like you and evolved to where I am now. Is it evolution for the better or worse? who knows.

Hey, this low level AP travels more than you do, makes more than you do, has a team of guys making more than you do, and we aren't holed up in some barren wasteland of a state, on the internet in a drunken haze posting about old plays to make you feel good about yourself.

RATC? That's a play, sure, but you need to KNOW how and when to play it and its 8 variants to make any money at it, and its a low level play itself. Quick hits? There isn't a play on quick hits unless you're one of those loons (I personally know you are one) that chases uncapped progressives because they are +EV. I suspect Axel, who hates me dropping his name, also partakes in the uncapped progressive chasing, and I'm fairly sure his "call to arms" a few years back looking for someone to work one with him was just that, and likely a VP progressive play to boot. Not suggesting you'd take action on a Quick Hits Axel, so don't take offense here.

Mystery progressives, must hits, and pay-by's are no mystery at all, Mickey. All one needs to do is look at the machine, see that it MUST pay out by a certain number, then wait for that number to get close before playing. What makes it a play, is knowing the meter rate, the payback %, and an understanding of how PAR score is created, what it means, and how to apply it to a specific machine. From there, you'll know what number to get "on" at, and run it. This is simple entry level shit, however, and I KNOW you don't have that kind of information figured out.

In your world, Mickey, you get such little action on things like the Mermaid, and RATC, that you feel justified in exposing them. In my world, I get 20+ plays a day on them. That's why I have a problem with you doing a "tell all".

For you, your world might only come down to hitting Keno progressives to make a living, mine isn't like that because I'm not exposed to those plays, nor do I think they'd be advantageous to My crew or myself with what we do and the volume that we go through. It would also require a solid understanding off how Keno works, and I simply don't have that understanding, I've never touched Keno in my life.

It was a satirical offer, MrV, quit taking everything we post so literally. The one thing you haven't let sink in yet, is that we don't gamble. We might "wager" but we don't gamble. I can't speak for Mickey, because he's drunk as a skunk half the time, but I'm positive guys like Myself, my team, even guys like Axel, don't "gamble" we only wager into +EV's, and leave the gambling to the locals.

The biggest gamble I've made in the last (almost) two years on the road, MrV, is whether I could trust truckstop hot dogs, and 24 hour taco places. No regrets thusfar.

You're right, though, MrV, to some they feel gambling (losing) should be a "fun escape", my Mother and my favorite Aunt tell me "Exoter175, you take the fun right out of gambling", to which I reply, "The fun in Gambling is winning, so I take the losing out".

    To each their own.

I couldn't begin to tell you about anything Keno related, Mickey, because I've never so much as hit the play button on one. With that said, its a machine, and a negative expectation game, so the only "+EV" that one could have out of something like this is that a progressive be high enough to create a temporary +EV, or for there to be a "banking" or "accumulator" effect to the machine, to where you'd pick through each machine and its denominations to find an amount of banked "things" to create the play. Be it number of banked pyramids to click off into a bonus, or number of banked pyramids to get you into a bonus, or perhaps the pyramids themselves have nothing to do with it. Point is, without knowing the base game, I can't pretend to know anything about that specific game with a very poorly taken picture, and now idea on how it interacts. The only thing I can apply to it, is the common "core" of knowledge that usually fits to all AP machines.

Despite you being a drunken idiot most of the time, sitting atop your throne and looking down on the rest of us as if we were merely ants in your sandbox, this comment is in fact 110% correct.

Again, no clue on Keno games since I have zero experience there, but like the other game, its going to come down to two things for me. Whether or not the representation of progressives itself is +EV, or whether or not hte "Count down" portion on the right hand side is literally telling me that by collecting one more rocket on that machine, I will guaranteed be paid the $800 progressive. Meaning that it would have a banking or accumulating effect to it, that could be picked off, and likely independent from game to game and denomination to denomination. Perhaps there's a "bonus" feature to it that I don't know about either. In any case, the three explanations there, without having a single fragment of knowledge on how Keno works, would explain your bitching post about them resetting machines in Montana, thus killing your plays, because if accumulation/banking is the key here, resetting that specific game could take forever to accumulate to the point of having 1 rocket until the progressive hits, which would make that play incredible.

Hey now, KJ is the best, and though he doesn't seem to like me much because I praise his ways, he's basically the most honest and real AP of all of us on any of these forums. Certainly way more humble than Mickey or myself.

You dont have to convince me that casino machine APs can make money. But just for my information....tell me if I understand it right,,,

unlike card counters at blackjack where the player wins extra money from the casino.....the machine APs are taking money that would be readily available to Joe Blow..they just get to it before joe blow can. Therefore the casinos dont care about the APs....because the casinos arent losing EXTRA money.
    Is that a fair understanding

No, that is not a fair understanding. Its not fair for card counters (I am one), and not fair for machine guys (I am one). Its also not fair for the Casino.

I think you're trying to oversimplify the situation, which is quite a bit more complex than what you just made it out to be.

If any slot or video poker machine is not reporting the hold it was programmed to hold, it would either be repaired or removed from the floor.
These machines are usually monitored weekly, monthly, and annually by casino and regulator monitors.

Stop pretending what you’re doing is some gifted complex rocket science, when it’s nothing more than just beating Joe know nothing Blow to anything more than what the machine intended to pay out. You’re not uncovering endless John Kane “Poker King glitches”.

Good for you and your gifted math talents. Maybe you should stop talking about all the riches you and your crew are making on forums before sooner or later everyone will catch on and your genius minds won’t even be able to collect unemployment.

Maybe you and the crew should take a break and sail around the world on your yacht. When you come back it would be a good time with rested minds to load the crew into your Escalade and follow that stupid fucking alcoholic Mickey around and really hit the mother load.

Get lost with all this fucken nonsense, it’s getting played out and everyone is getting sick of hearing it. Good for you, your crew, and all your wealthy AP friends. Leave us stupid -EV assholes alone.

I can't recall ever seeing a slot machine not reporting its programmed %, but I'm sure its happened before, matter of fact I know there have been legitimate bugs before like that, and the news runs wild with it every time.

Having said that, I'm not sure why you bring that up, that isn't what we routinely make money on, and it isn't always about beating Joe Blow to the machine, though many plays are in fact, just like that. Sometimes, "how" you play a machine, is more important than simply getting to the play itself.

Lets look at the 3 reel RATC machine, where you have two bonus options, a credit spinning game, and a record game that rewards a progressive. No multipliers, 4 progressive levels. Lets say Joe and I are intending to pick the same record, should it come up, and hit the button at the exact same milisecond. If we both take the machine at 9 o'clock, and it costs me $7.35 to enter the "bonus", and he bets one level higher, effectively doubling my bet, and enters the bonus costing him $14.70, I'll have beaten him right then and there, since that particular machine doesn't double the value of the progressive or the credit game rewards, based on betting levels. If we both land the same $24.18 "Major" progressive, I'll have made $16.83, he'll have made $9.48. The knowledge alone, for that game, knowing it won't increase your odds or your bonus payout, matters more than simply getting to the machine.

That's just a simple and straight forward example, there are others that can show swings of HUNDREDS of dollars if not played "properly", making the truth in "hustling" less about getting to the plays, and more about knowing they exist, and how to work them. Getting to a play takes a backseat to most things, but it should not be noted as if it didn't have an impact, it does. My core belief, my whole "Hustling Motto" as it were is, "Get to the next play". I want to move fast, and efficiently. I want to take down every play as fast as I reasonably can, without giving myself away, or tipping off locals to what I am doing. This means getting on and off a "clear" machine fast, so that others can create more plays over time on the machine simply due to my speed and efficiency. It won't always make a big difference that day, but it does make a difference over time.

If simply being faster and more efficient nets me 4 x plays, 1 clock, and a wizard, I'll be happy with that result, even ecstatic about it.

I don't know what this means? I don't either like or dislike you. Don't know you to make that judgment. But....why would you think I dislike you because you "praise my ways"? (whatever that means)

Once again your chest pounding AP post was impressive.

Now do most here a favor and go pound some salt.

    Pound Salt:

Another way of saying 'get lost', 'go away' and generally 'don't bother me'. Obviously, it is similar to pound sand, but if it is a corruption of that term, or something else entirely, maybe somebody else knows. I'm not sure why anyone would pound salt down a rat hole, but maybe it is something that was done at one time. Perhaps it refers to crushing large pieces of salt into finer crystals, or weighing salt into smaller increments; both of which would be dull menial work. Maybe it refers to walking on salt, similar to 'hit the bricks' or 'kick mud', since salt is often spread on the ground as a de-icer in winter and is also common in desert and seashore areas.

When I brought the broken chair in for warranty replacement, the manager basically told me to pound salt, it wasn't a warranty problem.

FYI there are AP's that do everything not just sports, not just counting cards, not just machines, not just poker, not just slots.

For machines there's many different scenarios. There are people that are solely winning money from other players who add money to the "bank". i.e. UX, banking bonus machines, must hit's etc. Usually them guys are called hustlers/vultures. They basically walk/drive around from casino to casino looking for such opportunities. They are at the bottom of the AP food chain. That's not to say that occasionally there's not something that's player funded worth a significant amount, like a Must hit by 10k. Someone could find a ripe must hit by 10k and take one down with minimal risk and time perhaps within 30 minutes and a risk of 2k.

There's things such as, no cap VP and slot progressives that ploppys play and run up until it's +EV. Some slot prog's can be worth thousands per hour (Exotor said he doesn't play that stuff).
Occasionally there's situations that come up and the progressive money isn't added directly from the ploppys.

Not all machine plays take money from other players. There's machines and casino promotions that give AP's an advantage without taking money from other players. All the AP profits come from the casinos just like card counting. 90% of what me and people I work with do nowadays doesn't come from the ploppys it comes directly from the casinos.

Casino DO care either way for multiple reasons, sometimes its just ignorance, they don't understand why your making money. Casinos don't like it when AP's are taking money from the ploppys because Advantage Players get the money and take it out of the casino. A ploppy will oftentimes stay longer or return and give some or all back.

If there's a $1 VP progressive that starts at 4k and the ploppys run it up to 12k, they would much rather a ploppy hit that 12k. When casinos had 3% VP meters .25 progressives got up to 7k+, $1 progressives 20k+. Something like that could be worth $250 an hour.

I just read here that Mission146/Pavlov/146/[Admin Edit: personal info removed as per anti-doxxing rules] is now a full time writer. Wow! Just this past March he was still bragging that he was a "hotel manager". I didn't want to speculate so I did exactly what Mission/Pav would have done.

A simple phone call to that one star rated, fleabag, flophouse confirmed that [Admin Edit: personal info removed as per anti-doxxing rules] no longer works there....and I got the feeling that they were glad to be rid of him.

Look out Stephen King, Ernest Hemingway, Mark Twain. [Admin Edit: personal info removed as per anti-doxxing rules] is poised to take the literary world by storm. With articles like "Interview With My Girlfriend" and "Cocktails Anyone"... he's a shoe in for the Pulitzer.

Now if we could just get him to write more articles about that dump in Wheeling that no one cares about.

He probably is assuming you are not happy with him because he "used your name" as if he knew you and you could back him up or whatever. however one wants to spin it either way. Sometimes people don't technically say something but it isn't clear

However you said something to the contrary IIRC just prior to that you suggested that he suggested that he was newb or something like that.

People have claimed they work with me and I'll vouch for them. Perhaps I did something once with them long ago, or they contact me about something one a year, however that's a far cry from me working with and vouching for them.
