    dickhead drunkard

I HAD FORGOTTEN ALL ABOUT YOU

    But you started it up.

you were a fleck of dust on the arm of my sofa.......

but you recently waved your hand and said "look at me...I am a drunken fool looking for attention"...when you brought my name into the conversation

so I was happy to ignore you and shut the fuck up about you.....but in your drunken haze...you probably dont remember you initiated verbal contact with me

so crawl back in your hole ...sleep it off....and walk outside and get some fresh air.

It seems you completely misunderstood what transpired. There is absolutely no problem with exposing and criticizing content. But that's not what Boz was doing. In the Forex thread, he just kept parroting "Scammer!" over and over again without actually providing any proof. We didn't tag him then because for all we know, those Forex folks really are scammers. However, Boz then took it one step further and started falsely accusing us repeatedly, also calling us "Scammers", also not providing evidence. Unlike the Forex folks, we know we aren't scamming anyone, so we knew for a fact that he was telling a lie, which is why we told him to finally put up or be tagged so that we would not have to continue chasing him to correct his false accusations against us. We have no interest in participating in the non-site-specific discussions, so when we have a disruptive member that keeps making false accusations about us, it forces us to respond or it makes it seem like their accusations are true. This forces us to keep chasing after the disruptive user to correct their lies. It got to a point where it became evident Boz wasn't going to stop, so when he falsely accused us of being "Scammers" yet again, we told him to put up or be tagged so that once he got tagged as the compulsive liar that he is, we wouldn't have to chase him around anymore to correct his lies about us. We knew he wouldn't be able to back up his words, so we knew he would get tagged. Did we force Boz to lie about us? No. That's his own doing, so now he has to take responsibility for being tagged for what he is, a compulsive liar. Members are free to lie about each other since we don't know who is telling the truth, but if you lie about us to try to discredit what we've worked hard to build, then do it once, no problem, we'll reply. Do it again, no problem, we'll reply again. Keep parroting it over and over and over again, and you'll be rightfully told to put up or be tagged because we will not continue to waste our time chasing after members who are intent on unfairly destroying the credibility of this site and keeping us from more important duties.

That's where you're wrong. We don't make judgements about what members say about other members since, as you correctly pointed out, they may be correct since we don't know the truth. But what got Boz tagged is that he decided to falsely accuse us, and that we can make a judgement on since we know for a fact that he is lying and would not be able to back up his words.

If folks don't understand that uncensored means we're going to get the good, the bad, and the ugly, and don't want to associate themselves with such an uncensored site, then that of course is their decision. We firmly believe there is a market for uncensored Gambling forums run by outsiders with no skin in the game where any gambling idea -- no matter how non-conformist -- can be shared without fear of oppression. We tried to appease our famous Founding Members when we first launched and before the less reputable members showed up, and those famous members still didn't participate then, so we certainly aren't going to cater specifically to them now.

    Please read the above.

It's not once you understand the actual context and realize Boz wasn't tagged for accusing another member without backing it up, but for accusing us without backing it up. He tried to manipulate us into censoring another member by calling us "scammers" and that backfired on him now that he's been tagged. He's the second member on this site to lie about us to attempt to manipulate us to take a certain action, and it's backfired both times. The lesson here is, don't involve us in your discussions. We are as hands-off as Forum Admins get, but if you try to manipulate us by involving us, it will not end well for you.

This is 100% incorrect. There seems to be a serious misunderstanding here and we are wondering who is responsible for perpetuating this misunderstanding. The Forex members can be criticized just like any other member. What members cannot do is post "scammers!" repeatedly without evidence or that will derail threads since a post accusing someone of being a scammer without any evidence does not allow the target to refute anything specific. If you want to go to the Forex forum now and call any of them a "scammer", go ahead, but do it once. Don't do it 14 times like Boz did here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here without ever backing it up because that derails a thread into the off-topic territory which violates our rules. Note that Boz did not actually dig up any evidence to suggest the Forex members in questions were potential scammers until after he got tagged. He was being intellectually dishonest and lazy in just yelling "scammers!" without providing any evidence. It took him getting publicly discredited to actually make an effort to find something with teeth to support his otherwise empty accusations. Any of you are free to copy what he has found here and post it in the relevant Forex threads to get a response from the Forex members, and we actively encourage it. That's how an uncensored community gets to the truth.

So, to summarize, if you want to call any member a scammer without evidence, go for it, just don't do it repeatedly. If you do it repeatedly against another member, you may lose your posting privileges in that particular Forum as we can't keep chasing after you to clean up your attempted derailments of threads. If you do it repeatedly against us, then we will eventually tell you to put up or be tagged so that we no longer have to waste time correcting your lies.

We only ban members here as a last resort as permanently limiting someone's freedom of expression goes against our uncensored principle. Furthermore, we have absolutely no moral, ethical, or legal requirement to be "respectful" to members that use our uncensored platform to lie about us to attempt to manipulate and discredit us.

Nothing was turned against us. We aren't reading Boz's posts anymore because we no longer have to, so it's a relief for us as our workload has diminished.

Emphasis in bold is ours. That which you said and which we emphasized above is the crucial difference. The questions you raise about us above are absolutely fair. But outright calling us scammers over and over and over again month after month after month without providing any evidence like Boz did will eventually get you put on the spot and told to put up or be tagged so that we no longer have to waste time replying to you.

Because there is a presumption of innocence. One is innocent until proven guilty. One is not guilty until proven innocent. There is a difference between someone claiming something about themselves, and claiming something about someone else. The burden is higher with the latter because you are involving someone else.

He was doing our site harm by keeping us away from more important Admin matters and by attempting to discredit our site. Ad hominem attacks are the weakest form of debate and that is what Boz was resorting to when he repeatedly called us "scammers" without ever backing it up.

The latter. Because if our credibility is tarnished, so is the site's. If a single member's reputation is tarnished, the site's isn't because it is expected that an open and uncensored platform will also attract charlatans. But if the Admins are unfairly labeled as charlatans/scammers/dishonet, then the community has no chance of thriving as its entire raison d'ĂȘtre is put into question.

Correct. It's not so much that we got irked, it's that we were wasting too much time having to chase after Boz to correct his false accusations about us. When he made it clear he was never going to stop, we finally told him to put up or be tagged so that we wouldn't have to chase him around any more. It worked.

It's not because we think we are royalty that deserve respect. Tell us to go fuck ourselves. We don't care as we have no ego attached to our administration of the site. What we do care about, however, is our site and community, so if you unfairly attempt to tarnish it, then we will respond because we will never allow our hard work and investment to be debased by lies.

Mickey is actually a perfect example of the potential our uncensored site has. He is not welcomed at most communities, but here he has a safe-haven to be himself and share his gambling knowledge with the world. His gambling knowledge comes with some ugliness, but that is the price you pay to reach the diamonds in the rough. All other communities are missing those diamonds because they prefer to censor speech they do not agree with. Imagine how many more diamonds in the rough are out there. Once we have a collection of them, we believe we'll start attracting the polished diamonds as well.

Based on our research of other gambling forums, this one is a positive.

This is the price one has to pay to reach the diamonds in the rough.

He certainly does care as his post count has greatly increased since getting tagged. If he didn't care, he wouldn't still be posting here. But, alas, that's just it. Despite all his lies, he's still allowed to participate here because even liars have a right to express themselves. For all we know, behind Boz's compulsive lying, there is some actual gambling knowledge that can benefit the community.

This is a pretty accurate assessment. The sooner our members realize we don't have any skin in the game, that we don't wish to be involved in the discussions, and that uncensored really means uncensored, the sooner they will understand our unique moderation.

This touches on an important point we've mentioned repeatedly from the very beginning. We offer the world an independent, comprehensive, and uncensored gambling community. The world is free to do with it what it wishes. That means our members are free to make of this community whatever they want. Do our members want to allow the scammers to run it over? So be it (but they still won't be able to sell or promote themselves). Do our members want to complain about another Forum? That's their choice. Do our members want to discuss actual gambling topics. Go for it. We won't dictate the direction of the community. That is up to our members. That being said, we believe it would be foolish for our members to squander this opportunity and this kind of open, independent, comprehensive, and uncensored gambling community as it is truly unprecedented and has the potential to find a lot of knowledge gems that are currently hiding out there. But if the world wishes to squander it, then so be it. We still aren't going anywhere.

Larry, what was that you were saying the other day about those without a cogent argument resorting to name calling? Perhaps you could give us a dissertation on that again, this time using examples of your own name calling to get your point across. Have you got that shit off your nose yet?

My reputation as a drunk is much worse than what the facts dictate. Guys like LarryS, Evenbob on steroids, like to paint me as a hopeless full time alcoholic with no redeeming qualities. He has even invited me to go ahead and leave the site....and that I won't be missed. I'm quite sure I wouldn't be missed by him as he has no interest in strategic gambling. He is a loser at gambling and has no intention of ever changing. So I'm expendable to him.

I've been on a working road trip for ten days. I have about another week to go then will be home thru the holidays. And you can be sure there will be some booze involved. I never touch the stuff when I'm on road trips so haven't had a drink in quite a number of days. But that doesn't stop LarryS, the king of the false narrative, from denouncing everything I say as the words of a drunk.

I can say this about THIS hopeless drunk. I've been interviewed on Gambling With An Edge (show #10, April 7, 2011). Many a reader has asked me to publish. I've been offered deals by publishers who specialize in gambling books. I've been contacted by ghost writers. Henry Tamburin asked me to be a columnist in his Blackjack Newsletter. Bob Dancer advised his followers to read everything I write.

Now, for the forums I've participated in.

I've been a member in good standing on vpFREE, a site for professional video poker players for 11 years. The site has more than 11,000 members worldwide. Its where I first gained attention, and rave reviews, in the gambling world. Most gambling experts use heady language and fancy equations that most people just don't get. I think my popularity there derives from my ability to explain gambling concepts so that even a third grader can understand it.

I'm a member in good standing at videopoker.com though I rarely post there.

I posted for about a year at Wizard of Vegas. Though I was popular on the site I kept getting myself in trouble with late night drunken rants. I wanted to leave the site but people kept asking me to stay. I should have left on my own terms but hung around until I got banned. I contributed heavily in threads on machine play. So much so that Axel and a few others asked me to quit doing it. I agreed with my banning and still have no problem with it today.

I was kicked off of Alanbestbuys by 18 yo Mendelsen himself. Christ, what an ignoramus he is when it comes to gambling. Besides the 18 yo thing Mendelsen is also part of the dumass 1 in 6 crowd. But I think Mendelsen will live in infamy for GAMBLER'S DECEIT. This is the idea that quitting when ahead can turn a negative game into a positive game. Stop win/Stop loss has no effect on the outcome in the long run.
WHEN DAN DRUFF BOUGHT THE SITE HE QUICKLY INVITED ME TO RETURN. But I have no interest in trying to teach that ignoramus Mendelsen anymore. He just doesn't have a clue and is very insulting in his cluelessness. And Rob Singer? Christ, don't get me started on that embecile.

I joined Norm's site to give him a shitload about kewlj, knowing full well I would be kicked off the site in a New York minute. And that's exactly what happened. I intended it that way. No way in hell was I going to hang around that asshole's board.

I'm a member in good standing at 2 + 2. But I use a different user name there than on other boards. Poker players are too damned smart. I can't let them know anything about my reputation as a machine pro. I just talk poker over there.

He also seems to have lost when he gambled on marrying one of his wives at the craps table at Caesars.

While I think the whole idea was, to quote Colonel Klink, "Very Interesting!," it was also "Very Strange."

Oh well, I guess 'what happens in Vegas' often winds up in divorce court.

I wish the guy well, and I miss his often vapid, stubbornly unrealistic views and assertions, especially about craps.

18 yo's; a "cursed" craps table at Caesars (hopefully not the one in the pic); and best of all, dice setting.

To his credit, it seems that after leaving WoV in a huff after being outed as a clueless dolt over the 18 yo's thing he has found a home.

Good, every dog should have his day, as well as his dog house.

What kind of loser gets married at a craps table? Only a totally deranged individual would think that kind of thing is a good idea.

And what kind of woman allows her man to ruin her big day by making her walk down the floor space in the middle of a craps pit? I wonder where they had the reception? Probably at the Circus Circus Buffet!

Mickey will vouch for Alan and me arguing forever about the "stopping when ahead" theories, but I gotta say you're being a bit harsh about the getting married at a craps table. Maybe his wife loved craps or maybe they met at Caesars Palace. Seems alright to me. And while I'm not gonna defend an 18 YOs claim, I will say that Alan doesn't drink, so that claim was not due to altered states.

Finally, it is possible to get five royals in two days. It's a sad story, but I once got three royals in a single day (two at Palms; one at Palace Station) in a span of less than 500 hands. I know -- I still don't believe it, but it happened. And it was, comically, not a good thing, and a really, really bad thing for someone who knows as much as I do. You see, I was "killing time" at the Palms waiting for the book to open when I got my first one, and some promo for a free breakfast or something was in place if you had your card in the machine for x number of hands, so I was playing a single coin. Then, at Palace, their jackpot thing was within a few bucks of having to hit (where everybody else with cards in got $50 or whatever), so I did it again -- sat and played with a single coin in and hit a third. Yeah, the second one I had max coins, after the woman sitting next to me at the Palms saw me hit the first one with single coin and said to me, "I'd rather not have hit it." I kept playing until the sports book opened, but at least I played normally.

Really bad story. Embarrassing, but funny.

It is theoretically possible, but coming from a constant bullshitter like MENDELSON,who has zero credibility, just adds gas to the fire. The only one in his stratosphere is IBYA,IDMP,JBS,JBJB,and last but not least PETER GRIFFIN:D You know who you are PETER:p

I thought it was 5 royals in one day AND still lost money.

Now this would be an easy one to prove as it was on $1 and above machine's so their would be some W2G's.

His tall tails always come off the cuff trying to prove a point. Example of a post leading to his comment.

OP. I played $1 9/6 today for 12 hours with perfect strategy I hit a RF and only made 1k. I think I was cheated I should've made 99.5 % of my RF.

Allen M. No you don't understand variance you are lucky you won because my son played VP and hit 5 RF's in one day and still lost.

IMO had the OP said he hit 2 RF's, AM would've said his son hit 8.

What is it that makes a man tell such a bald faced lie?

Eighteen fucking yo's in a row?

    Clearly impossible.

Thing is, he knew he'd get shit over it, but he went forward anyway, only to leave his detractors at WoV in a huff of seeming self-indignation while he slunk off to his new lair.

    Strange duck.

To be clear.... that was not a REAL quoted example. It's along the lines of how his tall tails get tossed out there. He seems to be answer someones question or he's trying to prove some point. He doesn't think about the odds before he makes his crazy claims. He probably thought it was 500k to 1 or something like that.

I could possibly believe the 5 single line royals in a day, I'm sure it's probably happened before(I have seen 3 in a day a few times, and know of 2 RF's back to back on 1 machine ), but it's the fact that he was trying to prove you could lose even if you hit a a RF because blah blah blah.

The thing about Mendelsen is he is a B celebrity. He is totally stupid about gambling but some people will put faith in his words because of his celebrity status. That's what makes that ignorant fool dangerous.

    Cebebrity?

I'd never heard of him, but I live in Portland.

Obviously his fame/infamy is limited to the so-Cal area.

I guess the guy's problem, in a word is this: "ego."

I've long felt that people with flagrant egos, the guys who set out to "dominate the room" at a get together, are in reality compensating for their insecurities and perceived shortcomings and weaknesses.

Then again, having once had strangers on the street approach and ask him "can I have your autograph?" must have emboldened Alan into thinking "Gee, I really AM special!"

    Uh, no, you're not.

You're just another swinging dick, just like the rest of us.
