Okay, so not only do you refer to her by a disparaging nickname repeatedly, but you are now also admitting that you lack the creativity to come up with an original disparaging nickname for her. Good work.

Just like WOV...being selective. Will you be addressing everyone who has besmirched your Barbara? Didn't think so. Grow up.

MrV has read it, wasn't impressed enough to believe it should be a, 'Best of,' but essentially said it wasn't terrible and can attest to the disclaimer under that paragraph to which I have repeatedly made reference that you have ignored.

I'm not being selective, I went looking for instances of my real name and/or other personal information which, by my count, you posted almost the entirety of with only three exceptions, two of which were quotes containing your post, and I think Ozzy was another exception. Furthermore, I don't know if anyone else who addressed me since I have been here had anything to say about BBB, and short of them directly saying they have, I'm not going back through the over 200 pages of this thread to look.

Face it, man, you have no meaningful defense or justification to immaturely attack someone based on their personal appearance. You have diversions, which are, at best, weak. It is what it is. I'm ready to drop that matter as far as you are concerned, and you would do well to do the same before you make yourself look more foolish.

Umm....yeah...THAT is the way it is SUPPOSSED to work. After my suspension, I posted my thoughts in the "Discussion about suspension" thread and immediately received notice from Mike that I was not allowed to discuss my suspension in the "discussion about suspension" thread.

The only thing that I can do is suggest that, in my view, that is the way that it is supposed to work and that is what I use it for. Other than one other occasion in which there was a truce agreement, (not yours, and in this case, I was privy to the details) would I have done anything with respect to them taking the matter to that thread. That actually applied to all threads, though, the truce agreement was such that they could not speak to or about one another anywhere on the Forum.

I would not personally forbid anyone from discussing their own suspension in that thread, now if they were to troll it, or do something that otherwise violated the rules, I would take action, of course. As far as the actions of Administrators other than myself, I cannot answer for that. Once again, I maintain that I had nothing to do with your truce agreement and did not know anything about it other than such a truce agreement existed. Furthermore, when you were nuked, I can say that the matter was not discussed with me at all.

the fact that people have to "suppose" shows the lack of transparency, the sense of entitlement, the "fuck you" attitude that is portrayed by manboy...and at least one mod follows the leader in that respect

You really do like to repeat yourself so let's try again.

I already told you that I would no longer use your last name. Are you looking for reassurance or do you just forget what you post? Like you forgot about this board despite the dozens of messages the dutiful members send you every day whenever your name comes up. I'm abiding by forum rules, I'm not doing it for you. You were an inactive member at the time and now...who knows?

I only use the term Beached Whale. It's not nice. I've never posted her photo as others have. Your objection that I, and only I, use it is noted.

I'm okay looking foolish on a forum... unlike you who lives for the accolades of the many boards that you haunt. Do you have any real life friends? Never heard you mention one. Sad.

I'm referring to immediately after your Suspension. I'm just trying to figure things out so I can try to give my best guess. Although, you seem to have accepted that I know literally nothing about it, and you don't seem to care anymore, so as long as we're all square I'll call it good.

You should try reading for context. I reiterated what I was doing here to point out that I am not singling you out for attacking BBB, I was forced into a position that I had to read your posts, anyway. I can assure you that it was not something that I either looked forward to or enjoyed doing. I happened to know that you used said nickname because it was used in some of the posts that had the personal information on me that I wanted removed. Thus, it is not a matter of me singling you out, it is a matter of you jumping out to me as one who was doing it. I'm sure there are others, and if they present themselves to me, I will admonish them in much the same fashion.

I also never suggested that you are the only one to use it. You directly told me that you are not the one responsible for its creation and I explained that it must be embarrassing not just to disparage the physical appearance of woman past middle age, but also, for the inability to be creative or unique in doing so.

You should try just reading. In my long post that you addressed other aspects of, I stated that I did not go out of my way to tell the newspaper I was the manager of that hotel because it has bad reviews, potential employers may look me up AND I have friends in the area.

I think you should now see the need for me to repeat myself, you don't understand things after I have already said them once. Twice is iffy. You might score better than 50% on a third try.

God, I am going to get into trouble here with Larry screaming that I am a hypocrite because I even brought it up when I recently posted that I have moved on. BUT, I do not consider that I agreed to such a truce. It was presented to me in such a way that I felt I had no choice. While I may have technically said okay, I felt like I was being told "this is the way it is", rather than "do you agree to this". I mean if you hold a gun to someone's head and they agree to something.....have they really agreed to it?

I know it wasn't discussed with you, other mods or anyone else. I was one person, the person singularly in charge, making a decision based on his friendship (or perceived friendship) with one of the parties involved, at that party's request. This is exactly the part that I really have a problem with. I give Mike the benefit of the doubt in hoping that he believed he was doing the right thing at the time. But I honestly believe he was being used, being played. Norm used his so-called friendship with Mike, to come to a site that he hadn't participated on in more than 5 years and request that Mike aid in censoring and banning a member that Norm did not like his views.

In a sense, I would say that Mike was a victim of Norm's agenda, almost as much as I was. And while I try to give Mike the benefit of doubt, that he didn't see it at the time, as time goes on, it becomes harder and harder to give him the benefit of doubt. Now almost a year later, with Norm having achieved his goal of having me silenced, he has returned to his status quo of not participating at WoV. It can not be any clearer to anyone, even Mike, that Norm's only intention was to use Mike to extend Norm's censorship/banning of me and have me silenced throughout the community.

If Mike didn't see that at the time (benefit of doubt) he has to see that now, yet he is still unwilling to acknowledge it. I know he has to now know that he handled the situation unfairly. But he can't bring himself to acknowledge it. That is most disappointing to me.

I want to say that you may have posted all of the details related to that here, at some point, but I'm going to say that I either didn't see them or don't remember all of them. By, 'Details,' I mean the PM's and things of that nature. I'm sorry I cannot speak to the way it was presented because I don't recall reading it, and if I did, I don't recall what it said. Although, if you are saying that is the way it was presented, I consider you a very credible person, so at worst, that is your honest perception of the presentation and, at best, that is how it was both presented and intended.

This is where we get to something about which I can give a qualified opinion. My opinion is that it is suspicious that QFIT has not meaningfully posted to the forum after the incident in question. Any posts that he did make were for the purpose of, 'Defending himself.'

In fairness, there were substantial accusations against him to defend against over and above what occurred between the two of you, for example, he was accused of threatening Wizard with a lawsuit. I would appear to defend myself against that, too, if I knew about it.

In any event, QFIT mentioned that he would have no interest participating at a forum in which he was being attacked all the time. Are these his true feelings or was he giving himself an out? What I will say is that, after making such statements as to, 'Why would I want to post here,' he certainly didn't make many (perhaps not any) posts about Blackjack from that point forward. I think he could have taken a ton of the heat off of himself simply by contributing to the Forum in other ways. I'm not saying everyone who was fond of you would have forgiven him, but it would have been forgotten.

Therefore, in light of the evidence, I must conclude that he did not care so much about participating on the forums...though it is fair to note that he apparently logs in every once in a while with the most recent occasion being early December of last year.

If I had to guess, and it would be a guess, I would say that he legitimately views you as violating whatever the truce was. Furthermore, I would suggest that he might be upset about things that have been said about him outside of WoV, and perhaps, in private communications for all I know. For that reason, perhaps he feels as though what you are suggesting doesn't even warrant acknowledgement. He might even still disagree with your position on the matter.

Speaking for myself, if QFIT was ever interested at participating actively on WoV, I do not believe that was his primary purpose.

Thank you for sharing these thoughts. It is good to see that some of the mods are capable of objectively looking at things and recognizing the pretty obvious conclusions. ;)

One thing I do want to add is that, not only should Qfit's lack of participation since this incident be considered but also his history prior to these incidents. Qfit joined WoV in 2010, I guess near the beginning of the site. Without looking it up (but you can, if you doubt me), he posted a handful of times, maybe 12? and then disappeared for more than 5 years, ONLY returning to specifically bring this feud to WoV and request of Mike that I be silenced and banned.

There is an old adage, something along the lines "don't listen to what the person says....look at what they do". Qfit has made it abundantly clear with his actions (lack of participation) both before and after this incident, that he had no interest, no intent on participation or contributing at WoV.

Furthermore, if you do want to consider his own words, on his site just a short time before he showed up at WoV, he responded to a question I believe from RS, where he was asked why he didn't participate at WoV and he responded that "he did not participate because he did not trust Mike because of Mike's involvement with a casino". The record (posts) at Qfit's site has a way of disappearing or being altered over time, but I am pretty sure RS and others that participated at both sites will verify what I am saying. Mike even acknowledged to me that Qfit had said even worse things than that about Mike that I was not aware of, so Mike himself knows of these statements. (BTW...some friend).

I know Mike was offended by my handling of the situation after the banning, particularly things I said on this site. I have acknowledged that I regret some of my handling of things and some things said during the aftermath were in bad taste.

It's kind of ironic, because Mike referred me to this site. He told me that there was a whole site dedicated to complaining about him that I could join. I wasn't even aware of this site or the "WoV is dying thread" until he directed me here. lol.

What I do find interesting is that the WoV policy was always that things said on other forums were not considered. Yet go back and read Mike's statement where he banned me. He banned me for something said on another site (not this one). The statement starts out "why I normally don't consider things said on other sites.....".

That is twice Mike changed his own rules regarding me. Once when he wouldn't allow me to discuss my suspension in the "discussion of the suspensions" thread and a second time when he banned me for something said on another site.

I mean, what I really wish could have happened was that you and QFIT could have just openly had the whole thing out, restrict it to a single thread, that sort of thing. I don't know that, 'No holds barred,' would have been a good idea, but the problem is that just didn't burn the WoV bridge ultimately, but I also don't see any path to a meaningful resolution between yourself and QFIT.

I would have taken your word for it anyway, but in looking at when QFIT last posted and visited, I also noticed the date he joined the Forum. I'm not going to speak to the time that he spent absent from the Forum, but like I've already admitted, it's very difficult to believe that being an active contributor to WoV was his primary concern when he returned.

I don't think that I've ever publicly defended QFIT, though, other than extending to him whatever protections are his right as a forum Member under the Rules. I may or may not have publicly questioned his motives. I probably didn't, but when you have five or more people already doing that, anything I would have to say on the matter would be redundant.

I'll take your word for it, good enough for me. I don't know that I have ever spent any meaningful amount of time reading his site, possibly none at all.

I could see that being the problem. It is definitely big of you to admit that you may have gone over the top with things, though I've either never read or don't recollect what those things are.

If I'm not mistaken, would the inability to discuss things in that thread not have to do with the truce?

As far as the other thing is concerned, I don't know whether or not there is a specific Rule that says stuff from other sites is not considered. It might be something that is not normally done, but I don't know that it rises to the level of, 'Changing a Rule,' as much as it does doing something that one wouldn't normally do. There are certainly hypothetical situations I could envision in which I would take action against someone on WoV for something that occurred on another site if it was provable (or admitted) that it was the same actual person doing it.

Sorry, the 'Babs' quashes your theory. Babs is not the moniker of grandma, it means BABE/babes - younger self description. Not an elderly image.

""say what you want about the freedom here....even with that freedom....we will never approach the sleaze factor that exists over there/""
    Seriously, you jest.

I just realized I did that a few times last summer. Only because I never used cards before and the few times I remembered to use it, I forgot it was there and walked away. Maybe a few minutes pasted before I went back to where I thought I was and pulled it and then checked if it was mine.
I never thought of doing that as a way to gain advantage. That's dishonest and I'm just not wired to think that way. Is vultching dishonest?
Not if you happen upon it and there's no saved sign or people around, I don't think it is. There is no money credits waiting to be played, just some created odds chance. Have I found money laying around or a ticket in the machine? Absolutely, but it was turned in immediately. Have I walked up and seen actual credits left to be played? Yes, and I walk away.
I don't know about other people, but I sleep good at night.

BK's can and are publicly listed and you need not be a company. Obviously, no one wants that stuff public, but it can be found if persistent enough and know how to research.

Don't think I'd need a metal detector to recognize that treasure.

Did he actually do a selfie? Then no thanks, I don't need a link.

I'm with you, nate but to each his own I guess. I have more respect for the guys on the exit ramps with their signs than I do for these low life people wandering around casinos looking for abandoned credits or pulling the forgotten card play. In many areas it is a crime.

In the case I referred to, our hero Mission/Pavlov/Pierce/the weak link, was caught red handed and banned from Wheeling Island and other casinos for 1 year. This according to his post from August 30, 2014. This is the same guy that brags about getting a girl kicked out because she asked him for a few bucks to buy gas to get home. Instead of just ignoring her, the guy that can "take care of himself" reported her to security. I wonder if he told her she was the weakest link. He said that he would never apply for reinstatement to the casino. Wonder how that went.

I'm not alone in my disgust for that behavior. Here's what Wizard said to Pav in the same thread:

Manboy: "Leaving player cards in high-denom slots is a bottom feeding AP play. I would compare it to wandering the casino floor looking for abandoned credits".

LOL @ [Admin Edit: personal info removed as per anti-doxxing rules] (sic) talking about someone else looking foolish on an internet message board. You posted the entire sorry saga of your life right here for the world to read without a second thought. However foolish Freddy may or may not look, he will NEVER be able to top that one right there! I mean, who does that? Only a total moron with absolutely no sense of shame (explains the barfing up of nuggets in public and exposing yourself to unsuspecting motorists). Heads up Bozo, no one feels sorry for you. People like you who make the same types of mistakes over and over don’t get sympathy, just laughs. You’re a born loser by any definition.

That may have something to do with the fact that I don't have anything to hide or anyone to hide it from, other than my real name for reasons stated. I differ, as you can see, from people such as yourself who would create a screen name for no purpose other than to mock the physical appearance of a woman past middle age. In fact, based on that alone, I would suggest that I could have perpetrated four times the amount of screw ups in my life as I actually have and I still wouldn't be half of the piece of shit that you are. What was your handle at WoV, anyway? Have you ever stated that? If not, is there any reason that I should think you might have the balls to do that little?

I don't need a sense of shame, much less, do I need anyone to feel sorry for me. You might have seen the word, 'Responsibility,' multiple times in that post. I take responsibility for my mistakes, especially the ones made when I just hit adulthood, because I thought that I knew better and could handle situations better than the people trying to help and advise me. I also feel a sense of responsibility towards others, among responsibilities is to not be a disgusting enough person to repeatedly disparage someone on physical appearance as well as other Kindergarten tactics.

Shit, I still haven't helped you with that word yet, here you go:

I dispute your statement because it would require you to have respect for anyone, which I refuse to believe.

I put myself on the self-exclusion list for that state, how is that getting banned for one year?

Did you want me to punch the girl in the face, instead? She was basically following me around. I don't recall any occasion where I ran around the casino asking people for money. Quite frankly, if her approach would have even been remotely credible, I'd have likely spotted her a few bucks. Do you think it would be better for me to let her run around the casino attempting to collect money from people?

I don't know that I would make that comparison, but I agree that it is a bottom-feeding play. I don't know that I ever denied that it is a bottom-feeding play.

See? That's how you admit to mistakes. People such as yourself, at least from what I have seen, and BWC would do well to learn how to do that from time to time. Hopefully, you're taking notes.
