Yes, I know....I am now the bad guy. When I came here a year ago, there was a lot of support or me from people like you, from WoV. You know why? Because you were there. You witnessed exactly what occurred. You witnessed me be a good contributing member of that site for 4 years. You witnessed someone who wasn't even a member at the time, come to the site for the sole purpose of having me silenced. And you witnessed first hand, Mike be bullied into taking that action that was wrong.

It isn't so much as you guys supported me, but you witnessed first hand, and knew a "wrong" when you saw it. Well, guess what.....NOTHING has changed. Mike was played and manipulated by an outside source and he wrongfully banned me. Nothing has changed, except time has passed and you are now fatigued of the incident, despite that you witnessed it. So it isn't ME that changed. It is YOU and the others than initially supported me, not because you really supported me, but because you witnessed and knew a wrongdoing, when you saw it. Time has passed and you are tired of hearing about it, so now I am the bad guy.

When someone does something wrong, something they themselves acknowledges was wrong, there are two ways to handle it. One you step up like a man, take responsibility and fix it or two you try to "weather the storm", knowing that time is your ally and as time goes on, people will lose interest and become fatigued and things will die down. Like a coward, Mike chose number 2. He was counting on people like you just growing fatigued. And you guys have done exactly as he hoped. You don't care anymore, so now I am the bad guy.

....and this is fine. It is well within your right to grow fatigued, lose interest and not want to hear about it anymore. But just don't tell me I am the one who changed. I am still making the same case against the same wrongdoing. You are the one(s) that have changed.

Here is the irony as I see it. I once suggested WoV could do the same thing vpFREE does. When someone has a history of disruptive posts then that person gets "moderated." Anything they post will not go up on the site until it's read and approved by a moderator. If it's disruptive they won't approve it. Once the person proves they can interact in a civil manner they will be taken off moderation. If the person doesn't change their behavior then nothing they write will get posted up on the site. This pretty much changes their behavior or they just go away. If you ever read vpFREE you will see that there are no disruptive posts. Everything is calm, cool, and collected over there.

The response I got from WoV about my suggestion was "Shack believes in personal responsibility" so that type of moderation would not be enacted on WoV. LOL!

Yes, I remember clearly that discussion Mickey. I was VERY disappointed in Shackleford's response. I alluded to this a while back when I said something like "I didn't feel all options were exhausted in attempting to keep Mickey on board". If I remember correctly, one or both of the WoV mods that participated here, Fisk and/or Mission jumped all over me, asking what more they could have done. Well they could have done exactly what you suggested, moderated you, at your request. It wouldn't have taken all that much. If you posted and no mod was available, your post would have to wait....that's all.

I can appreciate the "personal responsibility" angle, BUT, if you have a member that you value and Shack repeated said how much value Mickey added to the site, then you make exceptions. You find a way to accommodate someone valuable and unique. Otherwise you statements that so-and-so is valuable is insincere. It's just lip service.

Basically what it boils down to is the ability to be flexible and think outside the box and come up with a creative solution to a problem. Unfortunately, this is NOT a strength of Mike's. He is rather inflexible....actually, I would describe his as very ridged, by the letter of the law. Maybe that has to do with his previous occupation. Seems like a lot of them have that quality of inflexibility.

RS is quite correct. TC is (in simple counting systems) RC/(decks left). As you progress through the shoe; the numerator gravitates toward zero and the denominator decreases at an equivalent rate. The end result is that at any round, the count is more likely to be essentially the same at the end of the round as it was at the start of the round (on weighted average, not on quantities).

Now, you might note that I have included some provisos. If you want to get into detail, the end of a round is more likely to be negative than positive. The pos and neg TC counts are not symmetrical. This is because more rounds end with a high card than a low card. But, it all works out in the end.

Did you ever reveal what you're talking about? Sounds like going through allergy testing the old fashioned way of nicking and applying compounds.

God buzz, I'm so sorry. Went through that with my Father. You will never be able to describe your own hurt and helplessness. I never could.
May you get strength through your own support group and family.

Used to think I was a tuff guy, mentally and physically. At 77 still strong, lift weights. just not the stamina of a young man. Only pill I take is baby aspirin at night. Never had a headache in my life. Inherited good genes from my dad. If he didn't smoke all those years he might be alive today. Thanks for the kind words. Tears me up when Josie says this is unfair. She means unfair to me What a gal.
    Somebody change the subject

LOVE THIS POST: From a member QFIT got bounced from WOV GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

"For the record: We NEVER say "Teliot is right". Many of us just don't embrace that philosophy. The best we can do is say Teliot is not wrong....in this particular instance. :)"

Just tagging in. Back at work at 77. Need to get a bankroll, take some trips to Vegas while Josie still knows who I am. May want to buy some comps or rooms from anybody who has them next, summer probably.

Not much of a surprise, when the majority of a libtard forum is comprised of an unimpressive collection of foreigners, minorities, homos, transgender freaks, and self-proclaimed "mensas"....and the one-time owner needed to sell out to online casino morons. Their so-called T-O-L-E-R-A-N-C-E and D-I-V-E-R-S-I-T-Y only work until a member and they disagree.

Air America failed with that approach.
BTW, no lesbian would want Hillary.

:) You forgot about my daughter and two granddaughters....Surely, you're irritated enough to whimper over them too! And I can just IMAGINE the sour stomach you end up with every time you're forced to look at the picture next to my name!
