Hello everyone. I'm wondering if knowing the first card that comes out of each hand that being players first card is a big advantage. Also what would be the best bets to place to ensure I will never lose. Looking forward to the answers!

Elliot Jacobson has an article on it at https://www.888casino.com/blog/edge-sorting/baccarat-the-known-card
If you get the first card regularly it looks quite lucrative.

I've seen that before. Even tracked games for over a month and I have seen 7,8,9 lose 6-7 times in a row which to me is still kind of risky. I think I'm looking at it wrong or something. They say if the first card that comes out is a 7,8,9 wager on player and if the card that comes out first are K,Q,J,10,1,2,3,4,5 to wager banker, but than those percentages are even less for the cards that are not 7,8,9. I feel like I'm missing something big. There's gotta be another way to wager if I know the first card to come out on each hand !

You're reading the table correctly, but I think you are misunderstanding the nature of the advantage. Just because the first card to the player is a 9 doesn't mean the player bet will win this hand, but over the long run it will win around 6 out of 10 hands (ignoring ties).

So if you bet $100 on player whenever you know the first card is a 9, you will average making around $21 per bet. Now of course you have to make sure you don't go broke before you get to that long term average. If you go to the casino with $1000 and only bet when you catch the first card, you can probably start betting $100 for an 8 or 9, $50 for 7 and $25 for the banker first cards. If you ever find yourself down $500, half your bets until your bankroll recovers a bit.

Ya totally understand what your saying. I even seen one time 9s losing 5 times without even one making it out a player win. Just crazy how this game gets sometimes.

Phil Ivey won 20 million at Bac by Edge Sorting. The only way that could have helped him that I can see is the edge sorting gave him knowledge of that firs card.

You need to go read on how him and his accomplice accomplished this.

I looked at the youtube video. Would love to learn more. Where do I find it. On Youtube it was stated he asked for some conditions that the casinos agreed to and that he used edge sorting. If there's more I'd like to read or view it.

Yes I don't like when 9 comes out first on either side cos it's normally beaten. That is true.just follow the pattern I say. Also if say player wins 3 times in a row then the 4th bet should be player or don't bet at all same for banker.I generally find 4 or 5 in a row is a trend and is worth backing.
