My main claim to fame is that I wrote a couple books on poker behavior: Reading Poker Tells (2012) and Verbal Poker Tells (2014). They've received good reviews and I'm proud of both, although more proud of the second one. I don't pretend to be a genius on the subject of poker tells, and I'm always learning. I do think I've made some decent contributions to the philosophy of poker tells, though. Most importantly, I believe I'm a good communicator on the subject, and good at putting into words some concepts that can be hard to define.

I used to play poker for a living; now I just play on the side. I write a regular column for Bluff Magazine and have also created content for Two Plus Two Magazine, CardRunners, and a few other sites.
