When we, the forum participants who have had at it at each other - for years now for some of you - and for about four years in my case that I've been participating - read those KewlJ and MDawg imposter posts on Tater's public memorial page, it really bothers us because we know all the history behind the interactions mentioned.

And we think about how terrible it will be for all of Tater's family to read about all that.

However, fortunately I think that even if some of Tater's family reads those posts probably at most they'll think, Dad (or Granddad) got involved with some colorful characters and issues. I am hoping that the imposter posts will not cause grief because, read in a vacuum those posts don't feed into all of the background behind those mentioned issues and events.

In any case, I trust that the funeral home will remove my imposter's post and I already took steps towards making that happen.

 

Well this is distressing news--but now I certainly see why tater had to decline meeting with me while I was at the Peppermill in early August. I didn't know him, but there was something about the guy that made me want to. May he truly rest in peace.

On the nonsense end of this tragic story....I just read about his passing on VCT. It's no mystery to me that kew, and not some fairy tale imposter, penned his own POS comments, because that's the kind of person he is. He can never let anything go when others expose, question, or negatively comment on his concocted forum life and claims. The reason why this abomination never leaves for good when he says he will is because he always needs to get in the last lying words. With tater no longer able to respond, Mr. Despicable takes over.

Lastly, this news was almost surreal. Thursday my wife and I drove back up to Sparks because the family of an 81 yr. old friend of ours told us they didn't believe he'd last the weekend, and he's a special person to us both. Surprisingly, his severe COPD did not take his life yet, although he's not expected to last long. We drove back here to AZ. overnight Sun.

We stayed at Atlantis while up there, and the freaks, hippies, weirdos, queers, and mutilated transgender nutjobs who were heading to that stupid Burning Man baloney permeated the hotel. Let's hope the record high temperatures in Black Rock City teaches these useless drains on society a good lesson.

 

One more thing about the "imposter": don't be fooled with kew's infrequent sudden respectful comments here and there about tater. That's how cons draw other weak people into their web of deceit. He no more could stand tater's existence than mine. Kew's lies know no bounds.

That lowlife is quite capable of something so sick and disgusting. You can tell by his writing that he lives to troll others to assuage his feelings of inferiority. It's his whole life. He gets my vote as the culprit.

Now, for the bet he proposed to you. The over/under on me surviving another 3.5 years. That would be a date of Feb 1, 2026. Will I survive that long? One thing is for sure. No one gets our of the world alive. We are all going to die, including the lowlife wittle beachie. Being a genealogist I know that the men going back several generations in my tree died in their 70's. Only 1 made it to the age of 80. I'm 69....and I had a heart attack almost 3 years ago. They put stents in two veins that were 80% blocked. Stents magically add years to a person's life. I have one friend that had 4 stents put in 15 years ago.

So what kind of condition am I in today. In a nutshell, pretty good shape, all things considered. About 4 months ago they finally found the right combination of meds. I was taken off carvedilol and put on metoprolol and amiodoronne. It perked me right up. I'm feeling like before I had the heart attack. It was remarkable to me that I gained so much energy back.

I'm doing a lot of walking. I'm currently in the middle of a 14 day hotel comp in the middle of a cluster of 4 casinos. These are not small casinos. I make laps thru all of them at least twice a day. I couldn't do that before the change in meds.

My cardiologist had had me on 3 month checkups for almost 3 years. But on my checkup a week ago he gave me a year before the next checkup. That's how well he thinks I'm doing.

As for wittle beachie's over/under proposition that I won't survive until Feb 1, 2026. If I were you I would pound the over. Get as much money down as you can.

 

I have no idea if Singer's Newell nonsense and 1.5 mil jackpot are to be taken as something he hopes anyone will believe. I doubt it. I guess it makes some sense for him to post ridiculous lies so he can go off into his misanthropic hate posts when someone says, "Hey, that's a lie." That's a sick, ineffectual man with no power in life. His only power is in trying to get people on forums to react to his hate.

As to these discussions of who'll die when, I'll make this my final forum comment. I just turned 65. My mother, her sister, and her brother all died of MS before this age, and they spent their last 10-12 years as quadriplegics. All siblings dying; highly unusual. It was so unusual, we had Ivy league researchers investigating our family when I was maybe 12.

I didn't spend my life thinking I was on an MS countdown, but I didn't take my legs and my arms and breathing for granted, either. So I seem to have more or less made it to this point healthy as a horse. If I do contract MS at this age, the end will be quick. I know that. My younger brother used to have nightmares regarding doing seal crawls. I can't say I ever experienced nightmares like that. In some ways, the threat of MS freed me up to not worry about the small things. Like money. Like dying in general.

Take your days as they come and have some respect for standing upright and being able to eat and being able to live.

 

We're all going to die, much as the idea infuriates and often frightens us; just try to pass with a modicum of class.

Moses and I were not friends. We had a 10 year feud spanning 7 different gambling/blackjack forums. While I appreciate his tone towards the end, after his diagnosis became less confrontational, that doesn't mean anything was forgiven and that I liked the guy....at least the guy that posted as Moses/tater. Kevin Keen I did not know. Even so, upon his diagnosis, I wished him the best and I meant that. I don't wish death of anyone, like this asshole Singer, with his Monkeypox and aids comments. AND when we hadn't heard from Moses for a while just a week or so ago, I posted that I hoped he was doing ok, with his battle of such a horrible disease. The timeline now looks like he was already gone by then, but that too was sincere.

But none of that changes that most of his blackjack claims were not real and his ideology concerning blackjack and how to win was something from out of the 1980's. He simply did not understand the games that 99.99% of players play and have access to today. Moses was heavily influenced by a guy that goes/went by Tarzan on Norm's blackjack forum. Tarzan played a column count which he labeled "the Tarzan count". Moses took that approach with his almost identical column count and I believe thought he was going to apply and play that in Reno, where he had relocated after his divorce, and they still had single deck games which such an approach from the 1980's might still work. I really think he jumped the gun and said he was a fulltime professional blackjack player before he even tried and discovered that you can't do that in Reno.

But here is the thing, While every real blackjack player, from professional to recreational, I think recognized that Moses was no expert, that he didn't even understand some of the simple concepts of blackjack card counting, Rob Singer, who additionally knows nothing about card counting, labeled Moses as an expert, just because Moses didn't agree with and understand some of the things I was doing. Moses death and obit, to me absolutely proves what I and most serious players knew, that he was no expert as there was absolutely zero mention of blackjack....Nothing.

MrV makes the case that it could have been written by some family member that didn't approve. Well they mentioned that he bet on sports "from time to time". Rob is just embarrassed because he labeled Moses as an expert to get at me, and it was quite clear to every real blackjack player that he wasn't. He had some knowledge and an outdated plan for single deck....That is all. And now even more people should recognize that he was no expert, nor fulltime player, nor even a serious player. At best he was a recreational, low limit player and there is nothing wrong with that.

The bottom line about Moses is while I am sorry he passed and sincerely wished him well, it doesn't change these facts.


Now one more thing about this Rob Singer low life of a person. Earlier today he referred to me as "a con, luring people into my web of deceit". Really?? How have I made or even tried to make a dime off of any of this crap?

I didn't write a book (was it 2 books) full of voodoo video poker nonsense and claims and conspiracy theories of non random spins.
I didn't take a picture inside an RV at the dealership claiming it was mine.
I didn't post a phony picture of a 1.5 million dollar jackpot from a computer in some basement (rather than casino).
I didn't post stacks of phony, movie prop money from Amazon, claiming it was money won.

I haven't done any of that. I have simply shared some of my experiences as a low/mid level blackjack card counter, as much as I could without doing too much harm to myself.

No pictures, no phony "proof". The only proof, I will ever offer is my knowledge of everything I do. I always say people should be able to figure out "who knows what they are talking about and who is just talking". And if there is anyone, anybody at all that sincerely thinks I am just talking and really work at whatever burger joint, the trolls are saying, or am a male prostitute or have a sugardaddy or whatever the latest nonsense it, that is on them.

One final thing: Some of my detractors including Singer, and Mdawg, like to say that all my knowledge comes from books. My answer: a good deal yes! I read everything I could get my hands on when I was starting out. And then I joined forums and learned from other real players. because that is what blackjack card counting is about today. It isn't about any top secret math. The math is simple and hasn't changed in 30 years. More aces and 10 value cards remaining to be played favor the player, less favors the house. Nothing has changed. And almost any legitimate count will identify those situations. We card counters fight and debate about different counts, but most identify 90% of the same advantage situations.

BUT the real trick to successful card counting is NOT that math, but application. The math doesn't mean shit, if they won't let you play. The real key to card counting today and the last 10 years, is different techniques that enable a player to play and be welcome back to play. Identifying and understanding betting limits and time limits of play that are better tolerated and won't cause a situation where some pit guy has to answer for your play. And spreading it all around, so that you aren't a problem. THAT is what card counting is about today and you don't learn that from any book. There isn't even too much discussion about it on open forums. It is mostly networking and learning from experience, your own and other real players.

That is what Rob and every other hater doesn't understand.

Now I have shared some of what I do to be able to keep playing. Probably shouldn't have but I have. I have laid out at times, exactly what my exit triggers are. These triggers guarantee a short session, which usually means smaller wins and losses (although occasionally a bigger one gets in there) that are well tolerated. And I have 3 techniques that I do that provide a larger than "normal" advantage. I shared one in tracking a second table when the opportunity is there, and the haters went nuts. There are two more, which I now will never share on an open forum. Why bother.

In short, the haters, and Rob is right there at the top are going to hate. Go to it. But unfortunately for them, they are frequently proven wrong. And Moses passing and his obit, along with some coming clean about his claims in the last year, is one of those times. And when Troll king Singer looks foolish, which is more and more frequently in his old age, he just doubled up on the lies and attacks. That is the only real "double up" Singer has ever been associated with.

Ps: I believe Mickey will be around quite a while. While, he has had some health issue and was reckless with his healt earlier in life, he is now taking his health seriously and under medical advice. Not only do I think he will be around quite a while longer, doing what he does, but I hope he is.
