'It has been said many times, Mike's house, Mike's rules, even when he is not the public owner of record. " I believe I am the first one to use the phrase Mike's House. Mike's Rules. At that time you could not find a better forum for info about new table games, inventing and or distributing same. Sure as hell is no longer true. The only exception at that time being that Larry S is a gentleman compared to statman, who was threatening to sue Mike about something I said. Mike finally banned him and well, I have always killed my own rats. Back then Roger Snow has 2 separate focus groups for WOV would be independent product developers ( sounds less goofier than table game inventor ) Free prime rib dinner the night before and a chance to display your game at SHFL headquarters. Geoffrey Hall AKA Switch exhibited several games the first year and was a judge the second. Has either of them posted in the last year or even visited WOV ? I think that speaks volumes of how that forum is today.
Mike offer a get out of jail card first Christmas after I was banned, I did not even bother to apply. Rather just spend a buck a month for a VPN when needed. No need to anymore. Tried to get info on Stadium Blackjack both here and on WOV. Wasn't expected much here to be honest. But expected 1 or 2 members there who supposedly had an in with SHFL, would gladly help anyone, etc NOT !
Humans being what they are, trolls and idiots probably increase a site's traffic. Sort like a car wreck on the highway. Everybody slow down to look.

you got suspended because there is a "how dare you" culture permeating that site.

At any given time any of the mods(except face) has the temperament to nuke anyone that dares rock the boat.
Hell the manboy actually gloated that he punishes people when he is in a "bad mood". And everyone else follows the leader(except face)

Maybe if I offered Mr Vs penis to the manboy......I would still be there today.

I am guessing that the offer of it to THIS admin, will probably get me a partnership in this site.

Time to clear a few things up as the accusations fly. For those who blame everyone and everything but themselves for their problems..

    >>> I never accused anyone of being a sexual deviant. Unlike the "armchair experts" at WOV, I'm not capable of diagnosing anyone based on forum posts.

    >>> I did say exposing one's self to an witting, unwilling member of the opposite sex is a sex crime and is sexually deviant behavior.

    >>> I did say that masturbating in front of an unwitting, unwilling female is a sex crime and is sexually deviant behavior and a sex crime.

    >>> I did say that writing about is disturbing and that it raised red flags for me. Others may disagree and find it perfectly normal. I would love to hear from those people.

    >>> I don't believe posting Mission's real name is doxxing when it was readily available on WOV with his knowledge and permission. Twisting the definition of doxxing to fit your own needs does not make it so. No phone numbers were given, no current addresses, no credit card numbers, no names of kin.

    >>> I did refer to a newspaper article from The Intellegencer Wheeling News Register dated . There was no mention of a "hotel manager". I guess there are different levels of hotel managers. There's the guy in a nice suit that oversees places like the MGM or Bellagio and there are others who book rooms on the overnight shift while snoozing behind the desk of a fleabag joint while wearing their favorite shorts".

    >>> I never used the word clitoris while referring to Beached whale or anyone else. The word isn't really in my regular vocabulary. Other than Beached whale I don't refer to her by any other names.

    >>> I did not post bankruptcy proceedings involving anyone.

    >>> I never posted photos of anyone or anything.

As I've said, forums and casinos are not for everyone. If you end up broke, homeless, unemployed and lose your family...it's quite the price to pay. If only they'd think of the ones they've hurt but.....in today's world it's me...me...me. And it's everyone's fault but theirs

"to on-the-sly editing" ???? Are you saying that admin actually helped edit his posts whether he knew or not? Was he a PAID member to get this special service AND it was special. None of this sits well at all. And yet KJ came here and dominated at least 3 or 4 threads with himself for months?
    This is beyond sickening.

"Is that what I'm saying?" Yeah. That's exactly what I said.

I would nix a "fuck" here and there. Mostly, when MC would fire off a ripper, I'd ban him but not follow the typical policy on length. It got to the point (if I remember correctly; it's been years now) where I was just dinging him for 7 for profanity. I absolutely gave him "special privilege". If MC just happened to spurt a few curses here and there, I mean <2 just kinda dropped in, I absolutely edited those out.

I didn't rewrite entire paragraphs for the guy, or even so much as a sentence. But, beyond a shadow of doubt, I absolutely engaged in a number of "special treatments" concerning ol' MC. And just to be clear, he requested none of it. In fact, he denied any acceptance of "offered" help whenever asked. I did it "without his consent".

I looked and still look at MC as an asset. He was valuable enough, in my eyes and the forum at large, to make every opportunity to find a way in which we could coexist. Valuable enough to "break a lot of rules".

    What part is sickening?

did u unfairly protect him by punishing the people who read the post before you got to it.....and posted a complaint to MC telling him to sober up.
do you feel you and theothers that gave hom special treatment were enablers.

I was an enabler once with a frat brother at college who was a real hoot when he was drunk,....we loved him around because he was so cool.....especially when drunk. He was like Bluto in animal house. A real asset to our fraternity. Until he drove off a highway ramp luckily only killing himself. But we loved him, a real asset, we cleaned up his vomit, we threw a blanket over him while he passed out on the floor. But he was a real asset to our fraternity. He made all the parties lively. A real asset. And we all covered for him when he did something destructive or stupid....because he was a real asset.

Sometimes you just have to tell a frat brother....dude you are a fucking drunk.... ypu are sick...get some help .... we will even find a place for you ..we are not going to cover for you anymore.
But I nor anyone else ever did that.....because he was a real asset to us....and he amused us.
We used him till he died

What part is sickening? Just the special treatment. But at least you openly explained things. Did Mick ever thank anyone for the extra curricular work by admin? He certainly should have at some point. But it is water under the bridge now. Thanks.

    Ah, down memory lane ...

Shortly after I joined my college fraternity I bought a fifth of rum; I'd not had it before.

It tasted OK, and I wanted to get buzzed so I basically chugged the whole bottle in a couple minutes.

They tell me I puked all over the interior of a brother's new Camaro, but I recall nothing except waking up behind the bushes in front of the frat house the next morning.

Now, to tie that to WoV: maybe at WoVCon they can have a chugging contest: chug fifths of rum and have a contest as to whose stream of projectile vomit is bigger.

That'll breathe some life into the old girl.

Larry, I wasn't calling you an idiot in that post. I was calling the nuked WOV member, LarryS, an idiot. I have no way to prove you and him are the same....and neither do you. I have no ill-feelings for you. You two might be the same and you might not.

This thread is not about the customer service of a business. It is about disgruntled former members of WoV trolling that site because of their inability to place the blame where it belongs for their banning. They only have themselves to blame but they are so arrogant they can never admit it.

Back in high school we had a classmate who was always gratuitously criticizing anything and everyone. Everyone was wrong but him. He had no friends and couldn't even get a prom date. We wanted to feel sorry for him but he was so irritating. He would up a lonely old troll in the online forums doing the same thing he did in high school....gratuitously criticizing anything and everyone. Just a lonely old man with no friends.

I don't think Mickeys owes Face a thank you. I think WOV should have a welcome back for all nuked members, Clean slate, let the fireworks begin.
Would raise viewership for sure. Sorta like a Battle Royal on WWE

Because that gets people in the online gambling mood.

When are people going to realize flaming, trolling, arguing etc etc doesn't get people to click the links and deposit money? If anything it distracts them from gambling online. I bet people like Larry that have been nuked were -EV for the site.

I respectfully disagree Axel. You have to drive traffic to a site first, before you can make them click on anything. Oh, Elliot Frome is checking info for me inside SHFL about Stadium Blackjack. Will allow me more time on my next visit to ensure an unnamed no show for a billiards match will have time for a few friendly games in the mistaken idea it will be an advantage play for him. HaHa

I agree....there are some that I can think of off the top of my head that would not be posting at gambling related threads here if it wasnt for this thread initially
MrV., aXEL, mission., Fisk, Rs, boz, blackhole, bluechow, freddy,

But I cant think of one person that was posting on the poker board for example....and made it known that they were never coming back because of this thread. Its always been so easy for people to avoid this thread if they wanted...as it is with any thread. No one from this thread went to the blackjack threads and advertised this thread and asked those folks to come over and read it. There was no recruiting
But there are plenty of people that know about this site via Wov......via this thread.

    Bit dramatic, no?

It's an internet forum. Comments are made here and there, but I don't see what you'd like done. It's similar to the whole McNuggets deal. You perhaps have a moral responsibility to post of any dangers present. I know in the one right now they were discussing sodium and bp meds recently. But other than pointing out pitfalls, what would you have others do? Refuse participation in a friendly social event? Shun MC until he straightens up and flies right?

MC is well aware of the dangers of constant alcohol consumption, well aware of its effect on his personality, and well aware of the rules governing WoV. Were he given more or less of the estimated 12 special chances he got, I see no change in the outcome further than that of his posts at WoV.

He got special treatment. I was involved in giving it. People get that sometimes. I remain fine with it knowing that it was with well intention. Kinda like B9, now that I'm thinking of it. Some people are just handled differently.

To the rest, I agree that MC owes no thanks, and I repeat that he did not ask for and actively denied offers of help or special treatment. We just sorta took it upon ourselves to do so. And MC has thanked us, regardless, not necessarily for the blind eye but just because, I think, we're cool like that. So he broke the rules, and we had to enforce this weird, rigid system. Doesn't mean we didn't and don't have respect for each other.

Are you ever going to let that go? I just hope it doesn't contribute to any possibility of WOV dying. It's been so long I cant even remember exactly why I could not make it, I'm sure there were a few different factors. But I can assure you it had nothing to do with fear of losing or not wanting to play pool with you. Perhaps we couldn't find an extra BODY guard for my GF;).

It's rare that I would turn down an opportunity to play since I rarely ever get a chance to play anymore.

In all my history of making plans/ appointments/ arrangements or whatever you want to call it. I have a great history of following though and usually being early and last to leave.
If something comes up, 99% of the time I will contact whomever and let them know whats going on.

Obviously I have to put an order of importance on things. If it's just dinner I'm not going to excessively speed, run red lights and run over old ladies to make sure I'm exactly onetime.

If no plays come up or whatever, I will be there will bells on.

Do you know that "kewlJ" was banned at WoV for something that "KJ" said at zenzoneforum?

this is a great concept....Axel, Kewlj, MrV, RS....all members of WOV, that I dont know for sure are the same people here.

So accordingly I can call the WOV MrV.......a fucking piece of shit........while at the same time I tell the GF MrV that I admire and respect him.

I just have to denote ....Like GFMRV.....vs WOVMrV

I personally wont go down that path.

I will let RS go down that slimy path, it is his baby....and under the new rules I think its acceptable. .....SEEMINGLY
