Probably. Psycho used to prey on the racetracks finding throwaway winners. Then he picked up on the IGT Visions and started playing those. How about Dave Morris? He was a machine hustler who also stood out on Fremont St. dressed like a priest with a collection trey in his hand supposedly collecting donations for the needy. He told everyone his name was Sam.

    Never heard of Dave
A couple guys named Paul are longtime successful chislers I'm familiar with, as well as some others from the past such as the X-man, Jack Doyle, Reggie, and Harvey.

I've met 2 of them who only play "the stone cold nuts" (I was told the same thing before meeting them) and I've heard stories, I think, of one of the others, perhaps more.

If Jack Doyle is still alive, I would be amazed. He was a smart guy, even fun and interesting at times, but the hard core drugs left him broke and homeless daily. If you know Jack then you have to know crazy Mike (I forgot his last name, for now, if he is still alive I would be even more amazed, he was a heavy drug user as well) Very un-kept, short, fat, bushy beard. He and Jack got into a fight at the Showboat, beer bottles were used and blood was drawn.

I Haven't seen Harvey around since before they took out FA from Riverside(I assume he was tossed out before that). He would talk to my GF at the time(not my current GF) and they were kinda friends, he was a bit strange in an awkward sense. I would see Reggie around from time to time I think he was betting some sports and did well for a while. They never had much money for whatever reason but I have never known either of them, two guys, to be sheisty. They were normally kinda meek friendly individuals. They were always very friendly to me and never did anything shady that I know of.

Mike was some character, nickname was Cookie Monster

Been at least 17-18 years since seen him, same with Doyle.

    Guessing both have passed on.

Harvey has been attacking the California casinos of late, he won a car recently at SouthPoint and was booted.

Hmm.. I could be a different Harvey I/we are talking about. I barely remember what the guy looked like. I would probably be able to pick him out of a lineup if I were asked to, but if I passed him in a casino I doubt I would notice it was him unless he was playing on a visible advantage or promo and I took the time to think, "who is that guy"?

The guy I knew didn't seem like the type that would do much more than FA and some obvious bonus slots. He didn't seem savvy or motivated at all. Then again, he didn't seem like he had any vices or leaks. He may have met a few guys like Randy and learned a thing or two and advanced.
