Craps Anyone played craps on the Interblock Organic craps stadium machines?

    The 7 comes out quite often. besides Dont Pass and Dont Come, what other strategies or systems you think could be profitable? anyone familiar with this machine?

    I'm not familiar with the "machine" you mentioned, however... I wrote THE book on Wrong Betting several years ago. "Winning Craps Money". You can find it online at craps best strategy dot com.

    My experience with the Interblock craps machine is similar to yours. I also find the Interblock crap machine to have a bias toward the 7. The number of rolls per hand also seemed low. (average)

    Besides the Don’t Pass and Don’t come strategies … I also use a come-out roll “lay” bet.

    Since the numbers 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 stats are displayed I tend to use this information as a guide for my ( 4,5,6,8,9,10) come-out “lay” bet. (My "lay" bet is removed after the come out roll.)

    I’m more of a “follow the trend Don’t Player” strategist and try not to buck the trend. I either hedge my Don’t Come bet or stop betting when the trend is not going my way.

    On occasions … along with my Don’t Pass & lay bet, I will work certain numbers and/or the field on the come–out.

    I find flexibility to be more suited for my type of action.

    I believe there are numerous problems with the strategies you listed. As I don't know the "Interblock Crap Machine" yet, I will recommend that you use "My Craps Game" to practice. (That's the title, it is NOT my software and you can Google it to get it. I think it's still less than $12, and it's the only online craps game I've found to be correct for a number of reasons. ( for example; it leaves your bets on the table after a point is hit.) You are not getting true odds on Lay Bets... Avoid them! I believe in Math... and the math tells you to ignore "trends". Ditto on the "working of certain numbers and the field bets). Hedging is also a bad idea for reasons mentioned above. You're diminishing your profits. You seem like a high-action guy, so my slow, concise, predicable profits strategies may not be for you... patience and discipline are paramount! To Your Good Fortune, Buzz B Berkeley

    Tinhorn thanks for your response. I haven’t done much research on the craps part but from what I’ve seen, using a martingale on don’t pass would work if you use a 6 progression. Lots of people don’t like that strategy though. But I agree with your “follow the trend” technique. Sometimes the 4 and 10 comes out ALOT and those numbers shouldn’t come out too often.

    brokercny: Martingale is the ticket to the poor house... NEVER, EVER get caught in that trap! (Hint: the Casino has a much bigger bankroll than you - and they are playing with YOUR money - they lose only the value of your FIRST bet - while you must risk tons - TONS more money!) Let's say your initial bet is $10... but you lose, so you bet another $20 and lose - so you bet another $40 and lose - so you bet another $80 and lose etc etc etc... eventually you will win and your profit with be..... $10. wah Wah WAH!!! The casino hopes and prays that a person uses the Martingale system!!!! Because, you could be betting thousands of dollars in very little time - to make $10.... and the casino knows that you will give up after betting most (or all) of your bankroll. Run Away!

    Thank you for your comments. I agree with your comments as a long-term play strategy.

    However, in the real world, most of us play a short-term game where everything and anything is possible.

    Flexibility in the short term has provided me with better results instead of using a strick math method to WIN.

    Yes, I use the math as a guide, but not to the point that math always holds up in the short term.

    The two things I agree with you wholeheartedly is “patience and discipline are paramount!”

    I play 5 times a week and can only say what works for me.

    Buzz I agree martingale isn’t the smartest but these machines have a tendency and 7 tend to come out much more than if someone was rolling the dice. So that’s why a marty can be applied here but I’m sure eventually it can lose but I’m not saying that a profit can or cannot be made before that bust. I haven’t seen thousands of rolls but from what I have seen, a 6 progression might work well.

    Update: last night this progression worked again, but i didnt play it too much. i was actually using this progression with sic bo and i made a decent profit for the night. i must admit, i almost lost on one series(last roll). sic bo on these machines are very trending. im going to use that in my favor and switch to a different strategy.

    went back to the casino tonight. played a little less than 2 hours. i jumped around from craps and sic bo. used mostly the martingale. almost crashed and burned on 1 series but survived. the last time i didnt encounter any long streaks but this time i did, but lucky enough i didnt start the martingale until i saw 5 in a row of the small number on sic bo. used the martingale on craps a few times and was easy enough. these machines really spit out alot of 7's, so using a martingale on dont pass works well. the only scary thing is when on the come out roll, sometimes it spits out 3 or 4 7's in a row. so far so good, so ill keep at it.

    went back last night after having some wings and beer at Hooters. Had 1 scary moment but rest of the night was fairly easy. these machines roll the dice with lots of trends. cant predict it exactly but you get a sense of which direction its going. you still have to keep in mind that it does tend to roll 7 quite alot. but you do see a trend of the point being made and 7's and 11's on the come out roll. when you see the point made around 3-5 straight and sprinkle some 7, 11 winners, you know the trend changes real quick. 7 outs come out like crazy. i took a small break from the casino but i started up 2 weeks ago. im only chasing about $100/day. been successful with that most of the days. ive been there every day since wednesday and twice last week. so far so good. the only concern for me is that if this keeps up and when i can increase my units, i wont like when the machine will consider a bigger win(i think $600) is a jackpot win and that win will spit out of the machine and you need to cash it at the teller. its a real annoyance and a major waste of time.

    Update: still on a winning streak. Sunday started off horribly with negative progression so I quit it being down around $75. Played craps and sic bo for a while and being patient. Got back to $1.31 over even and decided to play it safe for martingale at sic bo. Waited around 10 min before I had a betting opportunity . Won that and decided it was time to leave with $6.31 profit lol. Tonight I made my $100. I was up $124 in the end and decided to put $15 on don’t pass. My luck, 7 comes out. Next bet, put the remaining $9 on don’t pass and win but than do a double on it again and lost. So $100 was my profit.

    I still haven’t lost yet but I haven’t made good profits every time. One time was for $6 and another was for $2. I stopped because it got late and I got tired. But my feeling is Don’t Pass comes in much greater than the Pass. I just don’t like it when the machines rolls a 7 or 11 on the come out roll. Sometimes a few comes out before the point.
