You still try so hard to make things up. 60 times ON AVERAGE at EACH hotel.

And you're never gonna convince anyone about you being some kind of respected LV player. Not after that pansy-ass, on-the-cheap trip report that seems to have only impressed V.

Something just occurred to me. Over the last 10 years, I've stayed at the Doubletree here in Johnson City more days than Rob spent in "medium to high end" hotels in Las Vegas. I guess I must be a man about town, a top hat and tails kind of gent.

Oh wait, my bad. Rob has now stayed 60 days at EACH hotel. LOL. Yeah, if you count Motel 6.

I remember that and actually couldn't believe they were doing it when I walked into the place. They had a $5 10/7 machine at the bar that didn't have the same paytable on its 25c-$2 denoms. My first four-to-the-royal and they shut the thing down, and I guess lowered it soon afterwards.

Still lying red. Avg 60 stays at every mid to hi end hotel.

You see why you're seen as weird? But it's understandable, considering the absolute beating you've been taking on VCT for your chickening out of being interviewed by Dancer and the Munch, and your foolishness with the AP comments.

Flaming you is effortless, given the material I have to work with.

If you stayed in that front tower you got to the dump just in time as it's going to be shut down for remodeling.

C'mon, mickey. At least make an effort. I stayed in 861, a Resort Executive Suite King. I even provided a link so you could look it up. Instead, you post a lame pic of a standard room rate as proof that you can get the room for $50.

Sorry, dude. Not close. You didn't even look up the room type, did you?

If you're this meticulous with your "APing," God bless you.

I'll start up a thread for you. See if you can snag an Executive Suite King for fifty bucks. I'd love it if you could, but I don't think so.

I am wondering about something MickeyCrimm posted somewhere about this REDietz trip, or these trips, along the lines of, What the hell are we doing out 'ere? I mean - what was the purpose of this trip?

I know when I go out to Vegas, it's only for a tournament, promotion or casino advantage play (which is all I do) where I know I'll come back with more than what I arrived with!

Instead, aren't you laying out your own money for this trip, with no reimbursement from anyone? Or is there more to this that you haven't mentioned? or are you going out there to lay bets for clients? What's the angle?

I laid out the purposes of the trip in the blog entry. I thought they were pretty clear. (1) Get a jump on scouting futures numbers, which heretofore hadn't been generally available in LV pre-July; (2) same for football contests; (3) pin down an itinerary for a filmmaker friend who is scheduled to visit in July, which means coming up with where he should definitely visit, including the Mob Museum, Oscar's, Mirage, Flamingo, and so on, including a couple of things between me and God; (4) keep familiar with Las Vegas itself in terms of eating, transportation, video poker, which sports books are under what aegis; limits; comp opportunities.

MDawg, you don't know enough to make an evaluation regarding what I'm doing. Futures numbers can vary wildly, based on what has happened recently, is due to happen, or any number of potential events. Numbers vary place to place and over time; and they vary significantly. The earlier you get the array of numbers, the better. Most of my house was paid for with one particular future, so this can be relatively important stuff. I had a sense of where I wanted my filmmaker friend, and writer for The Gangster Chronicles, to go and do, but I needed to review the places, prioritize them, and come up with a kind of schedule for him.

    I spelled it all out:

Actually, a brief discussion I had with Circa regarding limits made it into a Gangster Chronicles script, so the trip was more than useful.

Not exactly what happened, coach. I was able to pay cash to pay off the mortgage, which was just two years old. But carry on, coach. I love you.

Maybe you will make enough money this year to pay off your delinquent property taxes.
