Craps, No matter which way you are trying to crumble the cookie Rihaad sounds to be a disciplined and conservative casino player .

He will never join the fraternity of losers who claim but we know how to gamble .

I understand that they are 2 different animals, but that to me is only from the outside. in reality even know the skills are different it helps me a lot to see the similarities that are in common even know gambling is much more distorted and blurry the more I can "clean" its outside appearance so I can use some of the same common factors that exist between the two, the better I can do. they both are a gamble and it is right that a right can be so wrong as you said, anything that helps bring me to see clearly I am all for it. us humans with our minds are still the drivers in both cases.

Gentlemen (sigh, the absence of the fairer sex). Mr X found the winnings useful subsidising his other businesses during this pandemic lockdown. Thank you.

Its an illustration of what can happen. I did say his play style these days are akin to Lungyeh (hohoho) and summarised as follows:-

    1) play time 4-6 hours; no compromise
    2) target win 70% of bankroll.
    3) continue playing when win target reached. Option to stop on first loss or continue playing and stop if lost back 30% of peak wins
    4) stop playing for 30-60 minites if lost 3 out of last 4 hands. On resumption, if lost again, stop another 60 minutes or stop altogether
    5) betting progression when winning - 21223344..option. Adjust accordingly
    6) betting principles when lost - revert to lower than 0.1-0.4HPB or UB when less than 4 wins. Stay at 0.5 HPB or HPB when already achieved 4 or more WIAR before the loss
    7) bet amounts differentiated with UB (unit bet) and HPB (hot phase bet). HPB can be 10-20 times UB. UB is @ minimum table bet
    8) situations divided into Hot Phase, Shar Chi Phase (Killing Phase) and Neutral Phase
    9) Control your chimp and have arbitrary “mind rules” to control your situation viz the casino. They are a big team (army). You are a lonely general.
    10) walking out a winner is all about loss management part of your Money Management. The wins will take care of itself.

Please try to feel good for Mr X. There are people who wins like him but who do not play every day or even regularly. That there are occasional winners who also loses. If you play with a bankroll of 1,000 and makes your win targets most of the time, Mr X will be happy for you and cheer you on. Like I said at the start of this post, the money won has been most helpful during this global lockdown which has been @2 years now and emphasises in more ways than one my conclusion that Baccarat is indeed the best small business. To each his own. As long as members of this forum win in their own unique ways.

The Mr X story was written with some effort and with some level of documentary proofs. If it rubs some the wrong way, my apologies. Just one thing from the story - you can start a Baccarat business with a small capital base and grow it. Do your own calculations. Dont listen to those who bitch that they are so sure to win if they have a larger capital.

Please remember that even though Mr X started his 2 winning trips with S$400 and S$800 bankroll, in reality that is probably a small proportion of his net worth given his membership level.

It doesnt distract from the fact you can slowly grow your capital base with baccarat

I'm still not convinced that this is the real Lungyeh. In fact I believe it is just John Blerg , (Alrelax) once again. For some reason this Lungyeh's erudite manner has morphed into the style of the forum dominator from Betselection.cc. Where did had ability to communicate go? I also think that he did a pre strike log in 5 or 6 years ago as " BL ooi" or something like that. The real Lungyeh knows that reference. I think John Blerg is just playing us for fools. I'm done with this Mr. X stuff. People don't lose their mastery of language. This is just the kind of thing that Alrelax would pull too.

Its me Mark. I wrote you an email on the online option and had written to ask if you are playing these days in the B&M casinos and you said something about planning to do it early this year.

Mr X is something I had wanted to tell about for a long time but did not know how to approach it nor did I have the time. My country’s government just gave me the time. When most, if not all countries in the world are recording reducing numbers of Covid-19, my country is hitting record after record.

Did my English standard deteriorate? Or maybe I got too long winded in telling the story. Its unusual of me to write a story form. Or maybe getting too old.

Cheers n take care all. Peace.

The Chimp. Please relate how the chimp and Mr X have conflicts, if you will?

There was a comment made elsewhere that the rules, if you will, I espoused are theoretical and sounds good but unlikely to be practical.

Firstly, it is impossible to cater to individuals as diverse as they are in the baccarat world. Always tailor it to suit your own personality but make no mistake, while the parameters can be shifted and changed, the fundamentals behind them should not.

The higher rollers would adapt it to suit their own circumstances. For those who are starting out small and needing to build their capital base, to my mind, the rules MUST be strictly adhered to especially as to the loss management part of the MM strategies. No exception and you would come to appreciate it. When you are at the bottom of the food chain, or even as you move upwards, there is no room for unnecessary risk taking. For those who wants to make it in baccarat, you go to the casino to work, to bring back profits. You are not going there for your adrenaline fix. Not to enjoy yourself. Not to take unnecessary risks. Not for entertainment. Believe me you, there are cheaper forms of entertainment than baccarat.

So even as others may sneer at the rules as divinity and theoretical, for the more serious devotees, stay the course.

Of course, this is one approach. There are others equally passionate in their approach. Choose one that suits your personality and follow it religiously

I rarely see eye to eye with you or rather the manner that you deliver information is probably the more precise statement. You find me crass and I seem to have stuck in your craw as it is you want to rehash an event that was some months past now , I find it amusing in a boring sort of way.

But this quote above is priceless and I have quoted you before as being in 100% agreement.
It is my humble opinion that most readers here should really read that quote and apply that quote to themselves.
This industry is about finding what works for you the individual, many posters like the author of above quote have offered various bits of information gathered by himself and passed onto this forum with the best intentions. It’s up to the readers to find the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle that is themselves and become the better professional. Wher a particular piece fits with you may not fit someone else.
Even as I stated I’m no fan of the man as such due mostly to my own character seems to clash within me with his , ie that’s my problem not his. I would even bet his Chinese character is the goat/ sheep? I can see he means well , he does have many viable pieces of information from a different perspective. Lungyeh as with anything on a forum use your own filter and be aware that there are plenty of posters on this forum that really will never have a clue as to what they are reading let alone to try and implement any strategy suggested by a poster with more than half a brain such as your self.
As crass as it maybe but “don’t give a rats arse what they think “ pretty much sums it up.
    Excellent post by yourself. Cheers

I appreciate you responding about risk. I meant no disrespect with regards to any information you might want or not want to share regarding Mr. X and the "Chimp." That internal dynamic where a person turns off their rule machine and then just blazes away without caution seems to run through the the story line of Mr. X, to me. It's fascinating. The guy free solos El Capitan and has angle's wings. It's sort of fantastical. I'm just wondering how he has such a streak of good luck. It's happened to me a couple of times. But that proverbial Chimp has stricken me also. Is there any downfall for Mr. X ? I mean the guy just performs moon landings and walks away unscathed all the time, it seems like. If the story never goes there then that point is made. If the chimp does not come up then perhaps that issue has been completely maneuvered around. Still the topic is there. You do discuss loss management as vital to a business plan.

Maybe my Mr X story may cause more harm than good. The intention is to say that transfer of wealth can happen. Like the CEO of Fedex who won at the casino and went on to settle some urgent bills and like they say, the rest is history.

Or like the American guy in Singapore I storied about making his capital for his business from the casino.

And I closed my story by saying Mr X now reverts to the Lungyeh approach for sustainable wins. The second trip loss was a strong indicator of what can go wrong and Mr X came to his senses.

Throughout this thread I have posted several stories. There was also one about a guy who made multiple millions to lose it all back and then committed suicide.

Read it all and take it all in. Dont find fault with one story. It may mean different things to different people. But for sure, they are all true stories. Beyond what I chose to show, please dont ask for further verification of the veracity of the stories. Its tiring. I see worse in other threads. They ask the same questions in so many different ways and I think they dont even gamble but play simulated games. Omg.

I went through the above and must say these are sound advices and good guidance especially if you are on Busman holidays to casinos and trying to hit it big. Not so much for those who wants consistent income from gambling. It's too subjective. A stop/loss advice can actually replace most of it. Now just to be fair in the long run these advices should be slightly superior than most.
From my observance most BIG wins at casinos is the direct result of someone going on tilt and never looked back. Dare to win and Dare to lose. The ultimate gamble. Do not for one minute think this is devastating. Not having a stop/loss is devastating. Borrow $$$ to fund your gambling activities is devastating. It's a disease. Going on tilt is viewed as bad but cards have no memories. A lot of times, lose is win. It is the loss that causes that huge win and beyond. If you are a superstitious person and not a Math guy, you will totally disagree with me. As I said before wins and losses comes in all shapes and sizes. It is only after it happens that you realized you had made the wrong decisions but almost never feel that way when things are going right. You will find an excuse to give yourself credit for being right and not admitting that the wrong actually causes it.

Same same, two old bovine locking horns, stubborn as fuk, yeah . I see where the mental fortitude comes from.

But my bad I didn’t realise ( stubbornness) this thread was the thread I said I would not post to anymore until after I had posted previous post so I will limit myself for the future as to reign in my stubbornness.
as you gather I do read most threads here.
And for whatever it’s worth no one actually said anything, somewhat surprised on my part.
    Cheers

You are most welcomed to post here. Most Oxens dont hold grudges beyond ... not too long.

I too read postings all over in my free time and the pandemic does allow for a lot of free time. Havent been to a B&M casino in nearly a year.

And your longer postings along with ND’s brevity are amongst the sane ones. The rest, some, I read sometimes to lower my standard of English. And so that Giz can think somebody else hijacked my name handle. Lmao.

Some time ago on another thread I posted about having what I call slutty days . Quick re hash as to ease the stress of the mental buildup of the discipline, rules , etc and to put in a safe guard aclganst tilting I posted that you go and gamble like a de gen with a portion of profit of bankroll etc. Similar to what maybe mr x seems to do , he’s abandoning his rule set, and just going pig for leather. From a personal standpoint, my own , it works, you blow off steam you drink you chat to the nice young ladies even the older ladies etc. you enjoy. And yes sometimes you can and do make more money than normal BUT usually not. The point of the example is that you do what must be done to keep you professional side shored up. For me a slutty day once a month, yeah it’s a given,
Perhaps something to think in terms of the above quote. Cheers

    True.
Often some very important ones last for ever. That’s the diamond category.
Nothing this forum is in the diamond section.
I’m treating life as every day is a birthday .
After COVID air restrictions are over I let you know next time I’m in Cambodia via Singapore, provided we are still breathing etc. , I look you up, you sit in on my play , sorry but only on stadium as I get bored on tables it’s a time thing to me. At least 52 weeks away so no problem.

    Cheers
