Bad unbalanced dice and the casinos would never cheat!

Well Harley, has been called every name in the book, by our so-called experts that sell on-axis DI classes. They all say that casinos would never cheat because they would lose licenses and that everyone that worked there would have to be in on it! So there are no bad or cheap dice in the casinos!

Well I only have one word for all of them and that is VOLKSWAGEN!

I have been quiet for the past few weeks - lurking in the shadows - as one might say -

However - THOSE days are GONE !

And - I return with a VENGENCE !

YOUR " Third Grade " remarks to DaveG Ct are reminiscent of " What I told You " quite some time ago -

You spent too much time in the Boy's Room sniffing the urinal and NOT paying attention to the Teacher during English class !

Dice Scamming is an interesting lesson in human gullibility. This youtube video “Get LUCKY With The Roll of a Die! – YouTube” is about a devious dice scam.

Before the trick is revealed in the video …. test your mental capacity.

Remember everything looks legit, but as you guessed this scam is trickery. We often think of sleight of hand … however, we miss the important obvious.

This is a lesson in pointing out that when things don’t seem right at the crap table … question what you seeing.

1. bias dice ..unbalanced

2. worn dice .. bad edges

3. major deviations from probability

But for whatever reason… don’t be gullible. Think and play smart.

Whenever a dice cube jumps off the table, I ask the stickman, "New dice, please."

• Gets the game going as quickly as possible.
• Lets the crew spend as much time as they want inspecting the dice.
• "Any dice that hops off the table is not my friend so I won't let it screw me over."
  • Never personify inanimate objects, it doesn't work and they resent it.

I had one unexpected, dirty dice dot in old town, Las Vegas. When I pointed it out, I was surprised to see one of the crew try to 'clean it'. Soon as I could, I went to another casino. Yes, cigarette ashes and beverages makes staining a dice that hops off the table a possibility. But why run the risk?
