    Hello!

What would be a good negative progression that is less risky than Martingale? I have tried so many progressions and nothing seems to work long term. Can you recommend MM that is less risky than Martingale and how many units will be the bankroll. Thanks.

Well if you do a 8 or 9 step martingale, you’re risking 250-500 units. My progression I use i bring 220 units to lose. I’ve lost 3.5 times since starting this method 6/18 but I’ve won so many more units to overcome that. I’m up over 1000 units even with those losses.

    Joey Torres ,

Go positive . Set win goal and apply positive progressions like the up and pull. Bring the required bankroll to the casino.

Example : At a $ 10 min table the requirement is a $ 900 bankroll. This amount is also the basis for your win goal and Loss limit .

No further details on my part . But they are OUT there . Find them .

In all my 37 years of casino visits I have never applied the martingale . No bragging stories about my winnings .

I accept winnings with the same grace as my small losses .

Jbs, the $ in my bank account says otherwise. But the thing is I’ve been at this since 6/18 so I won’t brag or be overjoyed at this success. It’s still new but I believe it’s going to be long term. Only time will tell. If anyone wants screenshots of my winning tickets, I would be happy to post but I don’t think I need validation at this point.

    brokerny ,

I have read your posts since July just alone for the curiosity how you are doing at that racino .

NO Nobel price is given out for screen shots of winnings . Enjoy your winnings and build up a Master Bankroll of about
    $ 27 , 000.--

You will be able to do it .

    Happy Winnings

Thanks ND. 27k would be lovely but even if I can get to 15k, it would show that my strategy can work considering I started with $1100 and I only do $5/unit.

Martingale system isn't reliable. It might be good if you have a long streak of either banker or player but long streaks dont happen all the time.Thats why adjusting stake is necessary in baccarat.

i think martingale applied correctly with a good bet selection and if you have a certain bankroll, it can work out nicely. if you dont have a good bet selection and very limited bankroll, than it would be a horrible decision.

It is unfortunate for Baccarat, Blackjack, and Craps players when it comes to trends. You only have one data feed to read the trends from. But all of them, including Roulette have the one trend that really matters. You have the win/loss trend. I know for a fact that a good trend could be just 2 or 3 repeats of the condition and for only one time. It a great trend and happens many more times than 4's, 5's, or 6's etc... With Roulette you can have monster sized swarms of a single characteristic all across the various data feeds. When that happens in strength it is like picking up bags of gold just laying there to be taken. The so called trolls/knowledgeable here that reject this or are oblivious to it are just the ubiquitous noise that one must endure while trying to learn things. John Patrick never really explained trends. He's not that knowing when it comes to them. It's that or he just kept it a secret. Trends are the weaknesses that the casinos can't defend themselves from. How well you do with them is unique to every gambling session. There is no hard line on the ground to cross. One day 5's will pay you off. Another day 3's will do the job. It's up to you to see what is working and what is not working while it happens.

    Fellow Baccarat players,
After reading all these posts, let me tell a story of mine 25 yrs ago in Atlantic City. I uses a 5 step Martingle and played at the Taj Mahal. My bankroll is $3100. My unit bet is $100. I would looked at the the first 5 hands of a shoe. Ties don't count. If the said 5 hands repeats anywhere (after the first 5 hands), I would bet PPPPP consecutively. No commission cos' I bet only P. Only one win in one shoe. I did this for 9 whole months without a single loss. There were many 5th bet wins though. I rented a nice condo by the boardwalk. I eat gourmet food everyday. I party too. Life is good. Deep inside me , I kept wondering. is this reality? What about those 5th stage wins. They could have lost.

So, on the 10th month I encounter my first loss and I say OK gotta to lose sometime. After that, the losses kept coming sometimes twice in a day. With all my heavy expenses and no other income, I quit. One reason is I don't want to plunge into debt. Furthermore, I began to hate the casino life. I am lonely with no real friends. I felt miserable. Anyway I still like gambling. I said to myself if I can't beat them, why not join them. I went to dealer school and become a dealer. Everytime someone losses, I will analyze the causes. I really don't pay too much to winners.

I come to a conclusion that if I take care of my losses, I might have taken the first step to gambling success. Do you all noticed on all gambling forums, everybody talks about HOW TO WIN. No body talks about what to do when losing.

A 5 step Martingle does work but have to have a unique approach to it. I will post later on why a 5 step double up and not more.

I do. And I have for the past 12 years. I called it the effectiveness states. I've since moved to a rigid set of rules regarding one or two losses in a row. No point in feeding a losing streak. But this is at odds with the Marti. My conclusion, no point feeding the Marti.

Risk capital and all kinds of wagering and how to handle that very thing with details on the board Bet selections about baccarat. I read it and it works fairly good.

I agreed to everythihg you post except Roulette is more random than card games. If my last Martingale bet on RED is lost because of 0 or 00 I'll be pissed. Its all psychological though. A loss is a loss. You have many things to blame for a loss in Roulette cos' timing is vital. Someone check change and it does affect the outcome of the wheel. Someone distract the dealer by talking to him and that too will affect the outcome of the wheel whereas in Baccarat, the decisions are fixed readied to be revealed after betting ends.

Let's break that down for the sake of discussion.

    >>"I agreed to everything(sp) you post except Roulette is more random than card games."<<

I did not say that. I'm saying that there are more streams of data where the randomness qualities are so similar that they can't be discerned as much different from the card games and Craps.

    >>If my last Martingale bet on RED is lost because of 0 or 00 I'll be pissed. Its all psychological though. A loss is a loss."<<

Actually the zeros sleep and they wake up much more than the normal 17 spins between hits. When they sleep for 100+ spins the odds effectively become 50/50. When they swarm the odds close to more than 60% in favor of the house unless you include the zeros in your inside sets. A smart person would keep track of the zeros and the coldest two other numbers. You add the zeros if they are hot and lay off the two coldest numbers. This is not the case if you need to bet every spin and win over 100's of spins to please your win goal amounts.

If you look at Roulette as a randomness machine and disregard the distractions then each spin is just a random result with no attached meaning. I have found that the distractions are just part of the randomness. It's not like someone spilling a drink on the table will cause a zero to occur. A person asking a question will change the moment that a ball is released and when it will hit a bumper. It will not determine that a ball hits a slot perfectly or a slot fence instead. I would not be concerned about the randomness of any of the games. The point is to see what trends are working. In Roulette there are way more sources to see trends. There is something to be said for looking at one grouping though. You cold play roulette by looking at the activity of the red/black grouping only. Then it would be like Baccarat or Craps.
