I read ALOT. Mostly for pleasure, novels, and such. No, NOT romance. Mostly legal thrillers, think Grisham, Connelly, Baldacci, etc. Dog books-training, books about rescuing, etc. Books about the gambling lifestyle; Richard Marcus (amazing cheater) Rick Lax' stuff-he's really funny. Personal memoirs written by people who have endured situatations that have posed incredible challenges. I always read the poker magazines from the poker rooms especially the strategy articles. I have also read and will read poker and video poker books (Bob Dancer). I can't be the only one, as there are numerous published authors on this site. Can we have a section for books of all sorts? I'd love some members' reccommendations for all sorts of books they're reading. Also a frikin' spellchecker for our posts? I always have to write my posts in Microsoft Word and past it in after I ensure (or, try to ensure) I have no spelling errors. I've relied upon spellcheck for so many years, I've forgotten how to spell.

Thank you for your suggestion. Since we are building our site out organically, we let the content dictate which sections we create. So if you want a Reading Room, simply start discussing books in the relevant sections, and once we have enough book discussion threads, we'll create a new Reading Room section and move all the relevant posts there. So please don't hold back and discuss anything you want in the appropriate sections, even if there isn't a pre-existing highly-specific section for it. For example, if you want to discuss a particular book about Video Poker, just start a new thread about the book in the Video Poker Forum.

Regarding the spell checker, your browser should have one so they aren't needed on sites. For example, Google Chrome and Firefox both have built-in spell checkers that are enabled by default. There is no need to write posts in Word beforehand to check the spelling.

I use Opera. I hate to say this, but I have never found that it has one. I guess I had best poke around in it. thanks for the tip! I'll start talking books in the sections. May I talk about off topic books in the off topic section? Can we also talk about movies/TV/Netflix there, too? Or should discussions center around gaming?

Your Opera browser should have a Spell Checker built-in as well:

Yes, you may talk about anything non-gambling related in the Lounge section. It's specifically there for such off-topic discussions.
