All topic ends with trolls ruining the same. There is absolutely no room for sesible debates here. This may be the only one forum of this kind where admin himself is a mute spectator and lets every kind of nasty thing keep going.

I managed to get Reading Randomness done. But the slime was there at the end also. I tried to answer real criticisms and concerns of skeptics all along the way. That's normal. But the onslaught of forum trolls is now following a Martingale expert. Life is funny that way. The phase one leader of the world has got a throng of followers all headed for the cliff. The first thing people learn is the Martingale.

Reminds me of the the 2016 presidential election. People got tired of following a proven loser and therefore the onslaught of deplorables decided to follow a nobody who made more sense. So far, so good. No cliff in sight.

Well there is one redeeming quality to all this. You are not in line for a shit sandwich from me. The mathBoyz have already eaten your lunch.

None is skeptic or curious but they are here to have fun with others while enjoying their own set of fallacies. None can help them because they don't want any help.

If the mathBoyz have eaten my lunch (shit sandwiches), that means they're the ones full of shit. Thanks for clearing things up.

It is true. You seldom see when an idiot admits that they eat shit sandwiches. I'm sure they are happy too. Still there's' plenty more if you feel left out.

    Kokodrilos (Royalty-Name for Big-Time Gambler):

The long-run concept is derived from a fuzzy concept in mathematics as the law of large numbers. It strictly refers to probability.

    • If a sufficiently large number of trials are performed, even the event with the lowest probability will come out.

The “law” is vague, however. The “sufficiently large number of trials” is never specified. The crooks of blackjack card-counting systems will even use such aberrations as billions of hands (did you hear me, Norman Wattenberger, Don Schlesinger et al.?) Every counting system would come to fruition in 100 hands! But does that happen in real-life? NOT!!

If an event has a probability calculated as 1 / N, then we can establish a more down-to-earth law of large numbers. If we perform a number of trials equal to N times 50, the degree of certainty is extremely high that the event will occur.

But there is no mathematical formula to calculate the famous long run. Still, N * 50 has never disappointed me in my analyses.

    Thus, in the case of roulette, long-run = 37 (or 38) * 50 = 1850 (or 1900) spins. In pick-3 lottery, long-run = 1000 * 50 = 50,000 drawings. I haven't seen or heard of a pick-3 straight set skipping 50,000 drawings. 6000 draws is the largest figure I've heard of. The Hamburg Spielbank data file (about 8000 spins) shows the highest skips as: 304, 344, 352 spins. A far-cry from that limit close to 2000!

I came with the figure of long-run = N * 50 thanks to my computer programming. I ran my great probability software known as SuperFormula all over the world. I tried to calculate de degree of certainty DC for N = 50 times the probability p. The personal computers do not have sufficient capabilities to calculate the entire floating-point number. The software always gives the results as DC = 100%. Of course, that's a mathematical absurdity as there is no absolute certainty in the entire Universe.

The moderator in this roulette thread is in the habit in delinking my referrals. It would be to one of the most popular pages on my Web site. If no active linking, you should be able to find it easily by searching a little.

On that page, you will discover that the “long run” is not that oppressive in roulette as it is in lottery. Simply selecting one roulette number randomly, will make around 48% of gamblers winners… even in the very long run!

Selecting 6 numbers (as gambling systems authors suggest) will increase the winner percentage.

However, detecting bias and playing 6 biased roulette numbers, the percentage of winning gamblers will mathematically increase above 50%. It is the easiest, most straight-forward and honest roulette system out there. It simply starts with a keen look at the marquee. It offers the best chance of winning over the “long run”.

Don't forget to buy the super duper system that shut down gambling all over the world decades ago. That's also a formula for the long run.
