You've never seen a ball get stuck between two numbers before on a real wheel? Really? Talk about not knowing what you're talking about. I've seen it happen probably half a dozen times over the years.

yeah I guess in the end whether it's random or not it's still a matter of prediction.

I'll take some of my Evolution RNG winnings and keep going to see if the way I play it wins anyway.

The issue is RNG's do not have enough internal state to actually shuffle a single deck into every possible combination equiprobably on the next shuffle. They will therefore fail miserably to evenly choose the order of 8 decks of cards. 8 decks is a lot of combinations and a huge number.

Given there just isn't enough internal degrees of freedom, RNG's are basically painting an illusion of random which doesn't actually hold up under closer inspection. For the technically oriented check out the diehard and die harder tests if you want some more in depth understanding of how RNG's fail.

That doesn't mean that an RNG isn't "random enough" to meet the particular definition of random and fair for a gaming board, which are hardly known for specifying exacting scientific standards for randomness testing. The state enjoys the windfalls from the gambling operators when people lose so there is no problem to see here.

I get what you're saying and that makes sense. As you say they may be random enough. Given the nature of low odds in this game it's hard to understand how any strategy play mechanically would produce significantly different results.

I've now played nine different shoes and made 243 live Wagers. I happen to win 138 of them which brings me just around 57% strike rate. I think the strike rate is higher than my live play although my life play often gets near that or better. I might be getting better at focusing in general but also with the RNG game there's no real time limit pressure. So that made make a difference. For what it's worth here's a couple of screenshots of the games. They're not complete because I rarely finished the games. 20220412_174144.jpg 20220411_101056.jpg

    LOL.
Everyone should try to deal (or check) real shoes and see on average how many shoes are needed to face a 13:1 P/B ratio after 14 hands are dealt.
Not mentioning the huge unlikelihood to get all those fkng long streaks.

    as.
