Sports Betting Exchanges and outright markets

    I'm curious as to why the betting exchanges (Smarkets, Betfair, Matchbook, etc.) don't offer outright markets on some events. When one of them doesn't offer outright markets on such events, it tends to be the case that none of them do, so I'm supposing it's something to do with the basic principles of exchanges and the way they work, not so much any particular exchange.

    For example, right now all the bookies are offering outright markets for the United Rugby Championship, but none of the exchanges are. I see this a lot with rugby events. What's up with that?
