My local Casinos(This thread is mainly about Hialeah and Gulfstream) do temperature checks and we are required to stay 6 feet in lines. Slot machines are turned off between each other. "Double play," is no longer possible(Playing two machines at the same time).

Hialeah Park Casino's already small Smoker's Section is now virtually non existent since many of the games are now turned off. It's good news for me since I don't smoke, but also bad news as some of my favorite games were in the Smoker's Section and they are all turned off. Slot machines inside the normal parts of the Casino are also turned off every other machine. There are now only about 3 games in the entire Casino left where you can play one cent per game.

Electronic Table Games are also turned off every other machine. There is plexiglass at at least one Hialeah Roulette game. Although the Plexiglass covers only the actual wheel.

I had a SHITTY Session on the first day of reopening on June 18th at Gulfstream and I constantly hemmorraged money that first day. On June 20th, I got about $54 on a .03 bet, so that was decent compared to the day I constantly hemmorraged money just two days prior.

At Hialeah, although it was fun, the first day back wasn't really anything to write home about. The second day was much better and I won about $40 on a .01 bet.

At Hialeah, the bar is now closed although a brand new Restaurant called Junior's Bistro has been built and actually has good food deals. A sandwich and soup is about $6 whereas the old Restaurant would cost about $11 for a sandwich and soup.

Masks at Hialeah are required to enter and play, and Employees on the PA System periodically announce that masks are required to stay on. There are cleanings of machines at both Casinos.

At Hialeah, TITO Kiosks don't give coins anymore. You get a new TITO that is ONLY redeemable at the Cashier Cage and can't be played. Many Gamblers just abandon the coin TITOs. Gulfstream also does this, but their new TITO machines were in effect BEFORE the shutdowns.

At Hialeah, no Contact Jackpot pay is now the norm. Jackpots are now paid through the machine whereas before the shutdowns Jackpots were paid by Casino Staff and paperwork had to be filled and signed. So, let's say you win $2,300 on say a Cleopatra machine. That $2,300 automatically shows up on your machine as playable credits rather than the machine locking up and waiting for the Casino Staff Member(s) to unlock it and pay you out.

Hialeah now only has one working entrance and one working entrance. Gulfstream is currently doing construction near the escalators, so the elevators are the only way to get to the top Casino. The bottom Casino is still shutdown to the best of my knowledge.

My free play at Gulfstream slightly dwindled after not being able to play for over three months due to the unexpected Casino Shutdowns. I used to get $20 a week in free play, but after reopening, I get $15. At Hialeah, my free play offers have not dropped at all. I was wondering if free play for both of these Casinos would end since they do free play offers based on a period of 60 days. Technically since one Casino was shutdown for about 92 days(Gulfstream) and the other Casino was shutdown for about 87 days(Hialeah) all free play offers should have been automatically ended since no one played in about 3 months. Thankfully, that didn't happen.

Gulfstream used to be open at 9 am and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday but is now open every day at 10 . Hialeah still opens at 9.

Lottery at Hialeah is now open at around 9 or 10 compared to 11 or 12. Gulfstream Lottery has changed from a room on the outside bottom to inside the top Casino at the Cashier Cage. Cash Advance is also inside of the Casino and no longer the outside room.

Live giveaway games for both Hialeah and Gulfstream are cancelled for now. Even before the shutdowns, an Employee said Gaming Commission wasn't all that comfortable with live giveaway games due to then new Coronavirus that was starting to circulate the world.

Both Hialeah and Gulfstream have hand sanitizer stations and signs reminding people to wash and sanitize hands frequently, practice Social Distancing, and avoid touching face. Signs talking about Masks are also prevalent.

Both Casinos look like Ghost Towns compared to before The Shutdowns.

My local Casino, Casino Miami offered me $5 in free play valid once in June. It's a bit insulting considering the fact I haven't been there in about 4 months.

Right now, phase one (cough).....slots only, appointments only, 3 hours of play only. In other words, f**k that s**t.

I have no idea when roulette will be ready again and if I'll need an appointment to play (lol). I will do no such thing.

I may have to WAIT til either Sept or Oct to play like it was. Oh well, movies on the computer I guess.

Social Distancing articles point out that masks should only be off when eating or drinking and then immediately put back on.

Well, many people don't stay in The Casino playing for three hours, it's often less like one or two hours.

Some specific bet selections at a roulette table are subject to more time than others .

A love roulette table is not a slot machine .
